Giving this place one star is way more than they deserve as far as cleanliness. The ladies changing Room carpet was so disgusting, It looked like it hadnt been vacuumed in about 6 months no joke. Disgusting

Worst Customer Service in retail. They open the store at 11:00 and advertise open dressing rooms but dont open them until 12:00 and expect you to stand there and wait. They have no clue what customer service is.

Get those shirts and shorts and pants many people on your street cant afford. Keep an eye out for doorbusters. Google the term if you dont understand what Im talking about.

Havent been physically in a JCPenney for a while, but pleased to see the Waterville store still has a great selection, and we found what we were looking for.

Awful the lady that was waiting on us was in jewelry because I was looking at some and when I asked her to show me a different necklace in all gold she literally left me at the counter and went to help another lady check out or check a price or whatever she was doing but she totally ditched me so I just said Im all set thank you when I walked out they could have had close to 5-600 in business and they lost it today I probably wont

They never have accurate hours updated on the jcp app or their Google listing. Even when it says on the website/ app/ Google search they have new hours updated, the actual Waterville store has completely different hours than what the company posts for the location. If you try to let the workers know about the inaccuracies they say well we have the right hours on our door. So in the year 2020 people are expected to drive to a store first to find out if it is open or closed because the listed times, on multiple platforms, are rarely correct. Oh and even if you call ahead, they record times based on projected weeks at those hours. However, fail to update the recording even after the dates of said hours have passed. Ive Driven to the store in vain 3 times this holiday season. Considering Im trying to return/exchange items that they messed up on home delivered orders, Im feeling extra irritated by the stores inability to keep the same hours they list online/phone/app. Beyond unprofessional. Explains why they keep having to close their stores. Waterville seems to be shuttering itself.

Was shopping minding my own business when I was hearing a manager on duty being loud with their customers announcing out loud something about DHHS where everyone in the store could hear. Personally I felt uncomfortable and put my purchases back and left the store. I feel it wasnt anyones business when dealing with a situation like that, that is personal and unprofessional. The managers name that was being unprofessional is Tish.

Chelsea and Carson were extremely helpful as I tried on several suit coats and pants, trying to find ones that matched and fit properly. Great job at the end of the night.

This store is normally clean and has a good helpful staff. They have clothing for everyone, my daughter can get what shes looking for while I can get what I need as well. Pricing is really good, they seem to have sales on just about everything.

My most favorite place in the world to shop! Size small or pants that ar long enough without looking like you have high waters on. Being petite does not mean you have short legs. 32 her size 00

This store has come a long way over the past 5 years. It was once a crowded store where everything was on sale all the time. Penneys ran into some hard times during the past few years and much of the store was empty. These days the selection has picked back up and there are always great deals to be found for all ages. This is still one of the best and most affordable places to go for mens dress clothes.

Great deals & prices

The prices here are very high. I never feel like Im getting a deal at JCPenney.This particular store is always a mess too. Theres things on the floor, the shelves are in disarray, and its hard to find items. A lot of the times they will only have a one size available for one item. The customer service here is also not super friendly.Overall, I do not enjoy visiting this JCPenney.

It is not hadicap accessible. No place to sit when you cant walk far. Hopefully you dont have to experience that some day.

I like J C Penny. They have a nice selection of suits, shirts, and ties that I buy from there. We went in for my wife today but they didnt have her size.

I enjoy going to JC Penney. You sort of get that old Time feeling again, from childhood. Much better than going to big box stores!

This store had a great selection of womens clothes and in all the sizes. Prices were excellent plus I used a 25% coupon. Bargains galore!

Lots of choices and everything was on sale

Just bought an expensive shirt last week. Lost my receipt. I know my fault. Bought came back today and was going to take store credit and buy a bunch of clothing and spend way over the store credit. They were only going to give me $6 dollars in credit. Dropped all clothes on the counter and walked out!! Wont be returning! JC Penneys used to be the place to go! Wont be returning ever!!

Found everything needed for my odor needs for dads wedding. Darlene, the woman that helped us is great and knows what shes taking about. Had an awesome experience

JCPenney in Waterville, Maine is a great place to shop. They have friendly clerks and good quality clothing with a nice variety to choose from.

I used to love this store. While they still have a lot of different things, Id say unless ur a teenager or someone whos a little older, u wont be impressed with clothing selection.

Pricey

This place was creepy. They had a whole section in the back where the clothing is, the lights were out and it was dark. It was really creepy and I got bad vibes and anyone could have something happen to them back there. They need to fix those lights.

The quality has gone down, they are all made in China now. JCPenney used to have the best quality of stuff.

I lived in the area for a couple of years and this place used to be the best place to go for quality bargains. Now ( stopping as I passed through ) it seems like its overcrowded and carrying dated merchandise.

The Waterville JCPenneys is the worst store Ive ever been inI bought a pair of sneakers that was supposed to be on sale she wouldnt give them to me for the sale price said it didnt belong to them sneakers then tried to charge me for a bag for my merchandise

Has guys, women and children clothes. Recommend you buy only if on sale tho.

JCPenny has a wide variety of items from clothing to jewelry to accessories. They have a very helpful staff.
