By far one of the best places for a gyro! Weve been here countless times and will continue to come back. The food is always top notch and delicious and the service is insanely fast. Ive never had a bad experience here and recommend them to everybody I know looking for good, reasonably priced food!
I have eaten at Gyros West a number of times over the years. They have a diverse menu that is reasonably priced. The staff is always very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic! Didnt know where to eat because were from out of state. Was intrigued by the name. Parking lot and restaurant fairly full for lunch. Lots of people who were clearly regulars greeting and talking to each other. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and extremely generous!

Good food pleasant atmosphere. They were super busy, every table had someone at it so we waited. Was seat at the first available table, waitress was right there to take our drink order. When the drinks came she took our food order and within 10mins our food was served hot. As busy as they were the food and service was top notch.
Good Gyros. Had a order for work of course all different no onion this add that. Walked in ordered waited less than expected. Food was all prepared correctly and the things that were modified all labeled. Did not have to ask for any ketchup or things like a fork napkins etc.. all in a separate bag. I watched her bag it up, and was surprised places still give you the stuff most people need or want to eat the order they made. Even if the food was not as good as it is very good. i would go back because of the service.

Gyros West always has good food. Never really had a bad experience. It was a little frustrating today when I dined in with my step-daughter and we ordered two seperate meals to go (for Mom and and my son). When we were done, they forgot my to go items and had to ring up another check. When the two to go meals were ready, they were served to us on dine in plates! I had told them that we already ate and these were to go. Seemed like there were three different ladies handling my order and they all didnt get it right the first time. Not a deal breaker, but frustrating to have to wait and then pay a second time.
Ive been going to gyros west for years,and have NEVER been disappointed. I always get the gyros sandwich,but have to order an extra pita because they serve such nice portions. I wont mention names,but Ive tried other places for gyros,and to be honest, the other places arent as good,and a lot more money. I have nothing bad to say about gyros west,and for the people that complain that its crowded. Well,theres a reason for that,and its because its some of the best casual dining anywhere!. Ill always drive the distance(Im in franklin),and I sure hope they never close.

Service was great although feels like a fast food restaurant. The gyro was just a pile of meat covered with nothing but onions and some tomato slices on a sad pita. Crispy fries tho
I was looking for restaurants near a hotel I was going to be vacationing at. I saw their name which did nothing but I read further they are a family restaurant so I decided to try them. Upon entering I was greeted by very friendly staff especially a gentleman named Leo. They gave us a complimentary sample of their gyro meat and it was delicious. I had their Gyro Skillet, my Lady and little sweetheart had NY Strip steak and eggs and Chicken Fingers. They loved their food and we all were very happy. I give them 5 STARS
First-timer. Very, very clean, super fast and friendly service. Fries were the best anywhere. The gyro meat was a bit dry, but again, it was my first go-round. Tomato and onion super fresh. Will definitely go back.

Every table inside was full, so I would assume they were not at reduced capacity. The restaurant IS located in Waukesha. The employees wore masks. We sat outside and were the only table out there on a beautiful day.I thought the Greek chicken salad was tasty. It was slight, iceberg lettuce and about 4 ounces of grilled chicken breast. $12. It came with a nice pita and a delicious cup of chicken dumpling soup. The breakfast portions my lunch dates had were quite generous. It is a favorite spot of one of my cherished family members, so I will definitely go again.

Busy resturant with cheerful helpful staff.I had biscuits and gravy and eggs. Tasty gravy but poured over cold biscuits. So it was warm but the eggs were done perfectlly.
Gyros West has been a popular food spot in Waukesha for many years . I having been going to Gyros West since I was a kid and I think they have great food overall and one of the best omelets around. My only knock on the breakfast is I do not like the American potatoes they serve I wish they had regular hash browns. The gyro is usually good and they have a good variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options on the menu. Good local place, family oriented, large portions, and prices are decent.
Where do I start their customer service is superb soon as you walk in they greet you with a smile not just one but maybe two of them with the beautifulest smile and a hello how are you even if youre having a rough day its sure to make you smile then we have the food the Gyros are great the chicken noodle soup made me leave my gyro on the table and go ahead and dig into the soup its so flavorful and delicious and then I think its the chicken kabob I think thats what I ordered the next day yeah we went back two days in a row the chicken kebab with the rice the meat was tender n full of flavor..great food..great service..n no long wait..oh n did i tell u to try the chicken noodle soup(its that good)..writing this reviews make me hungry..im goin to try there breakfast..yep its official 4 days n a row.. GO GYRO WEST..

Been here several times now in the past month. Was missing Oakland Gyros and Gyro palace thought Id give them a try. The only thing I ever order is a gyro (one of my favorite sandwiches) and they dont disappoint. Always good, always plentiful, quick and more than anyone should eat! Great stuff, great place!

On Good Friday we ordered two breaded fish fries for pickup because my daughter visiting from South Carolina missed them. The fish and fries we were given all tasted and looked like they had been sitting around for a couple hours. The only good item was the onion rings, added extra, which were freshly made.VERY disappointing!
I visited with my mom and son after a church service. The service was friendly and prompt. The menu selections had the perfect variety without being overwhelming. The food came out in the timely manner and everything looked and tasted fresh and delicious! Perfect place to go if youre craving Greek food.

Very clean, great service. Good food. I love that they have a low carb menu for Keto. Their gyro meat is really good. I also like that you can order to-go at the counter. My kids love their breakfasts and pancakes. All around great greasy spoon. Oh, and their homemade soups are delish!

The place, including the bathroom, is very clean. The staff is attentive and friendly. Huge menu -- including a separate one just for the all-day breakfast selections. We ordered a cheeseburger and the Greek Skillet with pancakes. Everything was delicious, and portions are big so....leftovers.

Nothing bad here, but nothing exordinary either--outside of the GREAT customer service. The ladies gave us free bowls of soup (and whats better the free?). Portions are big. Flavor is pretty vanilla/traditional American flavors. Had the gyro, wasnt disappointed, but wasnt wowed.I appreciate the service more than anything, so definitely worth a stop if youre hungry. Seems to be a local fav, cause they was alot of ppl there.

The food here used to be great. They had an amazing burger but within the last year has been just okay. Tastes as if they switched to a cheaper/precooked burger, otherwise I would give it a 5-star rating. The gyros are very good for sure. This is usually my go to if I have a craving for gyros.
The cooks move like lighting. And it’s not the fake busy you see at a lot of chains. Might not be a fan of the front end 100% of the time but they are workin on tips too so I understand where my orders sit in their priority’s. Either way foods going to be hot and it’s busy so must be good.
Still the best around town for food. Enough said.

My daughters and I had breakfast there this morning. The food was eh, just typical breakfast food. The potatoes I had with my skillet would really have been better with real hashbrowns instead of cubed potatoes. The kicker? The coffee! It was like coffee water. We tried a couple of cups, so it just wasnt from that batch. We wont be back.
One of my favorite fish fry. Fast service, large 3 cod loins, great coleslaw and includes soup or chowder. Im a big eater and am always satisfied.

Food very good. Only complaint is I called an order in and was there 5 minutes after the pickup time but still waited 10 minutes for my food. It was very busy though🤷♂️

I really wanted to like this place after seeing all the great reviews but I just can’t give them a good review after dining there. Service was great, prompt and courteous, but the gyro just didn’t have much flavor. They gave you a very small cup of tzatziki sauce which wasn’t great either. The fries were hot and crisp but WAY over salted. I love gyros and have them regularly, but this one was just sub par. I might give them another try just because food was hot and service was good but then again I might not.
Read a sign that said the best gyros in Waukesha the pita was really grainy and taste like raw flour the meat came out cold and flavorless.
