I usually drink my coffee black and boring but now I live just a block down from this cute little cafe, which plays the best music on the radio, and they are so sweet for this outta his element Mississippi country boy that they make me a different coffee every morning and help me expand my horizons. Check them out then walk around the Tosa area. Its gorgeous!!!!

The brand/company is amazing, never had an issue when ordering my usual Ice Vanilla Latte when a café uses this brand. Really like the place, they always make my drink right and the employees are kind/sweet. It doesn’t look like it at first but I talked to the employee and you can sit in.

This is a great option for when you arent near their other locations. Staff is great, and the coffee cant be beat!

Just went here for the first time today with my girlfriend after knowing about it for a while. Had the iced honey bee latte and it was super smooth and delicious, and not too sweet. Perfect on a warm day. We will definitely be back!

The staff is so sweet every morning, and the coffee is great! The fact that there isnt a drive through is nice, makes you slow down and actually appreciate the people working and great drinks they make!

Anodyne is my favorite coffee shop ever! I stop in at least once a week and get a bagel and iced honey bee latte. The iced honey bee latte is delicious and the best one Ive ever had. I normally get a sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese, which is a solid snack. The employees are awesome and kind. One of the employees always walks my food and drink to my table, which I think is super nice.

EDIT for clarity: I wrote this review long before becoming an employee, but am currently employed by Anodyne.The people are great and I love, absolutely love, the outdoor area. Inside there is the same delicious, well-made espresso as ever. P.S. Great job to the person responsible for clearing up the now crystal clear drinking water. Thanks for that 😀

Had a really delicious pistachio peppermint latte here. Small but plenty of places to sit and work or talk. Beer on tap as well.

This was the first time I visited this location. The service was excellent and I liked the relaxed atmosphere. This would be a good place to meet with a friend, read or just to bring your laptop. Ill definitely be returning.

Milwaukee has so many great coffee shops, but this one takes the cake. Small yet spacious, tasteful decor, incredibly friendly and personable staff. I came in a snowstorm once and forgot my wallet... barista treated me to the drink. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Pleasant establishment with amazing coffee. You can also get wine and beer here and theres a cool outdoor seating area. The indoor tables are lined with outlets which is nice as you dont have to fight for electrical power.

Besides great coffee, the Wauwatosa location has one of the best covid 19 precautionary setups that Ive seen yet. Thank you for keeping not only myself, but your employees safe as well.

Small space but wonderful staff and coffee. They have a great music selection with the right amount of noise to drown out neighboring conversations. I love to do work here. I will drive out of my way, past several other coffee shops to get coffee here!

Great coffee.It is a narrow store front, but not crowded in feel. There is a backyard space I like to enjoy. Also a city parking lot you can park in that connects to the backyard.

Slightly more acidic but high quality which comes at a premium price, which is where the 4 stars comes in.Update:The acidic quality has become a flavor that now look forward to.This bag of medium roast whole bean has been my introduction to premium coffee. Doing the pour over method and is hands down top tier and top of my list.

Friendly staff and the prices were great. Though the coffee was not to my liking, it tasted like some other fancy coffees that just didnt fit my taste. I will be stopping in to try another coffee.

The coffee at Anodyne is very good and the employees are friendly. I didnt give them five stars for three reasons: they have a weird time based WiFi system that I totally understand the need for and dislike anyway, the building is very small and seating is limited, and finally my girlfriend broke up with me here, so keep in mind if you go here your girlfriend may break up with you.

Great that this is in the Tosa Village! Love Anodyne coffee. Its small inside - not great if you are with a group, but Im told theres an outdoor patio in back. It was winter where I went, so I havent seen the patio.

Fast, friendly service with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Drinks are good and high quality. Smaller establishment but that doesnt mean its lacking in quality. I ordered a soy chai latte and it definitely wasnt short on flavor! Id come back again.

I was looking for a cozy coffee bar to while away a few hours. This was not it.The cofee was fine, but the atmosphere was disappointing. Small and too anemic for my taste; there were no comfy chairs to disappear into, nor were there any spaces large enough for a group to hang out. There was just coffee, and a few tables.

Nicely done remodel with awesome private backyard space. Definitely a great neighborhood cafe option thats less crowded and in my opinion brews better coffee.

A wonderful neighborhood coffee bar located on the edge of the historic Wauwatosa Village. Drinks are wonderful. Desserts are excellent. Front door entrance off of Harwood or come in the backdoor from the municipal lot. Flame lanterns on the front and vintage look and feel fixtures on the interior provide a real cozy look and feel. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Free wi-fi with any purchase.
