I went to this location on Thursday to buy some bubble wrap. Kind of empty inside. I came when it was dark. I was quickly met with an employee. He helped me out and my mother. He even told me about all the deals. Overall 👍🏿👍🏿💖
I received a posted invitation by Dennis Paul, the general manager of the Wauwatosa, Wisconsin Office Depot, to stop in and receive $10.00 off a $30.00 dollar purchase of regularly priced items. This invitation, in the form of a post card with attached coupons, came in the mail yesterday. I was in need of labeling tape for my Brother Label Maker, so I figured I’d take him up on the offer and purchase some printer paper while I was there.The items were not on sale, but I was stunned when the cashier told me that the labels were not covered under the discount Mr. Paul had extended to me.In fact, just about any item I would normally think of Office Depot for – electronic products, office furniture, labeler accessories – was SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED from the discount.Normally, I purchase the Brother TZe221 printer label tape at Wal Mart, who advertises this product for $9.49. Wal Mart is also where I routinely buy 500 sheet reams of printer paper for about $5.00 each.Yet today, I walked out of Dennis Paul’s Office Depot with a bill for $35.98 and unable to claim the discount touted in the postcard – THE VERY THING THAT CAUSED ME TO CHANGE MY NORMAL PURCHASE DESTINATION.The ONLY REASON I didn’t walk out is because I needed the labels for a project that is on deadline.Honestly, I feel as though I received a pointed stick in the eye, and I see no reason to ever return to Office Depot.Half-empty, unfaced shelves, point-of-purchase micky-moused, stanchioned off and closed, sending shoppers to the service counter because the register wasnt open - or simply too cheap to hire somebody to operate it.It was like shopping an over-priced flea market.

I was at the office max on 124 and Capitol in Wauwatosa wi today looking for a screw for the drive 970 evo plus ssd 2tb I just brought. When an employee approached me and told me his boss thought i was stealing and that i needed to leave. What the hell kind of business are you running that you just accuse customers of stealing. I told the staff member that I was not stealing and asked him to find the screw I needed. Which he couldnt so I left. I will make sure everyone knows how you treat your customers. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS I would never steal why would I buy a $300+ drive to steal a screw?
Customer service is null and void at the Wauwatosa Wi office depot.My business, our church nor our family do business with them any longer- I Would rather shop at Walmart.... Before shopping there again!I placed an order for curbside pick up. Was notified my order was ready went to pick it up set in parking lot for 15 minutes come up then went inside for the so she to tell me that they didnt a get an alert. I was so a laptop that was a display item without being told it was such. Paying full price for an item that has been on display should be the consumers decision and not made by the store associates. When trying to log in to the laptop, there was personal information of another individual already logged in, it was asking me for a password that of course I could not give because I was not the person who was logged in.I spent 3 hours on the phone been transferred disconnected and then transferred again only to be told that they could Walk me through clearing the information. They could not guarantee that my personal information would not or could not be compromised. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, as this is where I conduct my business transactions!I have tried and tried to reach corporate office and all I could get is maam you have to call 1 800 go depot...After 3 hours on the phone they transferred me to the local store to a sales associate,not a manager, Who could give me no advice except tell me to bring it in or he could walk me through wiping it clean.Who in the right mind would pay full price for an item that was on display.Do not Go to office depot in Walwatosa WI.Frustrated and Disappointed!
I brought a medical textbook into this store to have it spiral-bound and some of the pages are not included in the spiral and were cut too closely to the edge of the paper. Very unhappy with my experience. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere if you want to have a book spiralized or 3-hole punched.
Great get what you want and go store. They also PRICE MATCH with Amazon. AND they have a great deal for subscription based ink replacement/delivery. You get free delivery and 10% off each order and get 2% credit when turn in used cartridge. Got me to shop local abit more with these types of deals.

Very disappointed. I tried purchasing an item and after calling and speaking with the manager he assured me there were 3 items in stock. However the website was not up to date and said it was unavailable. Being the last day of the sale they would not hold the item or allow me to make an over the phone payment eventhough it was their website that wasnt working. Very bad customer service.

I wanted to print some business cards like I used to. I tried to create from their computer and was having a hard time. I asked for help and they didnt seem to know much. After 30-45 minutes of trying by myself because they werent trying to help, I gave up. Got on Vista website and created my cards. Now I have to wait for my cards instead of having it in hand. I miss the old staff.

Why you want to go there: In-store clearance/sales have great prices you wont see online. This store is clean, the staff is friendly, and for all the items Ive bought theyve had a good variety of each.

Store Manager, Tim Seal, very unprofessional today, a complete jackass, this store must be desperate, for managers, if they have him as one. He needs more Customer Service Skills Training.I tried to return an unopened, laptop and unopened key board today. Which to my surprise, you only have 15, I mean 14 days to return, what the store considers, TECHNOLOGY. That can cover many items, as individual items are not named by name. Well, Tim goes on to say that, I cannot return these items and that they were part of a bundle anyways. I asked him, what bundle and he pointed down an aisle. This made me very pissed off, as if he were saying that, I was only trying to return the laptop and not the other items supposedly, that was to come with this purchase?????. I told him, if hed looked at my receipt, he would see that it was not part of a bundle.Receipt, also does not break down, what is considered, technology on the stores part, (computer, laptop, notebooks, tablets, printers), thats my assumption. Now, these two items that I had purchased was $450.00, plus tax. I had purchased for my Grandsons 16th Birthday, purchased in July, his birthday in August.I told Tim that, the store needs to have its employees or bigger signs posted, (currently return policy are posted on the counter, I dont give my money to a counter, I give it to a person), stating, Technologies must be returned within 14 days of purchase, no refunds or exchanges. Tim stated, we cannot do this for every item that we sell. I told him, not for every item, just for the technologies. As, I was leaving the store, Tim replied Have a good day....what a douche! LESSON LEARNED...ASK QUESTIONS WHEN PURCHASING TECHNOLOGIES ( whatever that may be).
While checking out at the Wauwatosa location my small child (17 month old) was crying, the cashier actually yelled at my child for crying. She said HEY KID... ARE YOU CRYING which of course made him cry harder. Then she went on to tell me she doesnt have kids so she doesnt have to deal with that. Then as she could see my child getting even more upset she said maybe I shouldnt have said anything to him. Ahh you think??? VERY RUDE SERVICE. This definitely has me thinking about who I do business with.

I am not at all impressed with Office Max Corporate - I had Aaron over at Burleigh store fold 2866 letters for me and when I went in to collect, they were still not done. Standing watching Aaron fight with that folding machine was painful and I was getting very aggravated at the letterheads I was losing because the machine was chewing up so many copies and getting stuck constantly. Aaron was very understanding of my aggravation and calmed me right down. He let me know that they have repeatedly asked corporate for new machines in the printing section - and none was forthcoming. Well if OFFICE MAX CORPORATE cant get their act together - I will no longer use them. Its a shame that the great personnel have to use defective equipment and take the abuse from upset customers. Aaron in the printing department deserves a medal and I would like to support the store - but until you have your act together, I will go elsewhere. If you want to advertise services - MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE WORKING EQUIPMENT to honor your advertised services.
