Great experience after the pandemic! Last year, the blue shirts were so few that getting help was always difficult. This time around, there were staff on the floor actually seeking you out to answer questions! Stocking has been better than ever. Love the Best Buy Essentials branding for accessories with products priced at good value! π
This Best Buy location on Mayfair, across from the Mayfair Mall is a good location that offers great service. I have purchased several computers, a refrigerator, and lots of lesser items here. The staff is great. I get particularly good help from the folks in the computer area who help find exactly what I seek. The staff usually recognize me and give me great service, which can be unusual for a big box store.
Great deals on all the TVs and electronics. Bought a 4k TV from here because they had a good deal on it. Parking is large and selection is nice
I had an issue here that I brought to managements attention. His name was Adrian. Even after dealing with a snatch and grab, he listened, repeated back to me to make sure they had what I said correct, and totally fixed the issue. Definitely coming back.

ADRIAN, Matt and in store staff (Wauwatosa WI #26) were fantastic.In short, new TV didnt fit in my car. I needed to reset plan to allow my wife to pickup the TV with bigger car. i COULD NOT CALL store. EVERYTHING routed to 10 min+ call center queue. Store staff fixed everything in less time than I waited for 1st call agent to verify my identity. (I wish I could give multiple reviews. 5 stars for in store staff at a bad time for retail staff. This (Mayfair) store will continue to be my tech go-to for the appliance, computer and home theater purchases we need for our home, planned air B&B, and college students. My purchases are a drop in the overall BB bucket, but Adrian rescued $5k-$20k in likely BestBuy revenue.1.5 of the 3 call center customer service personnel were good, but blocked from doing what they needed to solve my problems. I think if they had better system/tools, I would have been happier with call center. I fault operations and call process management (ITIL and Contact Center telephony tech is a fair portion of my expertise, so I feel qualified to be disappointed and comment) Tough business right now. I want BestBuy to survive and thrive.

Dont ever try to call these people. Their phone system is a gobbledygook of computer-operated ring-around-the-rosey, making it virtually impossible to get to a real person. If you need to speak with someone at this store, well good luck. It isnt going to happen.
This location is large, well kept, and easy to park and get in/out of. However, the customer service is strange. Two people may greet you at the door, but no one will be at the register when you check out. I waited 5 minutes for a cashier. I would go back just for the ease of shopping, but not expecting consistent service.
One of the best places ever that was made you know but I its like the new radio shack they need to bring radio shack back Best buy need to buy radio shack and bring out radio shack cuz I miss all the gadgets and a little small plugs that radio shack used to have but much love the Best buy they got the fire sticks they got great computer skills everything you need at Best buy make sure you go to Best buy tell a friend but we need to make more Best buys cuz they theyre too far out for people to have to come to it we need to put Best buys in the inner City downtown somewhere base your or somewhere in Milwaukee Wisconsin but we need it in Milwaukee its too far out thats the only problem I have but its a great place to go to take your family there

When I walked in the store they greeted me. When I need help they was very helpful kind and considerate and I brought a frigerator from them I had a blasting day and I think they did too keep up the good work employees at Best buy.

He didnt even get out of his chair but sat and rolled in it when I asked him questions about a refrigerator I was interested in purchasing. I guess it best to keep doing my shopping online. We bought our appliances from this store. Jesse helped us. He was so knowledgeable and professional. He thoroughly answered all of our numerous questions, and the questions we didnt even know we had! He helped us pick exactly what we needed, and got us more than we knew we wanted. Definitely go see him!

Open box items are usually a steal. I visit several Best Buys to get the best deal. Each time Ive gone to each store all of the staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. The only thing is .... all of the Best Buy stores close early (7pm) and open late (10am) after COVID-19.
I have visited the Mayfair Best Buy a couple of times in recent weeks for electronics. The staff is nice and willing to help with every step of your purchase, including loading large items into your vehicle. On my second visit, I was able to shop the store online and see the a movie trilogy I had been hunting for was in stock at the store. After some self-searching, I was unable to find the item. An associate performed a physical search also and located my movie set...made my day!!! The store has a good variety of in stock products at good prices. The only drawback is that they open at 11am. People are willing to wait in the parking lot til their doors open. Also noticed that you can order online and they will bring your order to your car - great for those who prefer contactless service. Masks are required for all shoppers, be prepared. Parking is plentiful and there are so many more freestanding stores to shop in the vicinity, in addition to Mayfair Mall across the street. I would recommend shopping at this Best Buy location.
I was very pleased to find the Arlo alarm system I wanted. However, I only wished that there was only one warranty fee and not individual warranty fees for this system. The price was great for what I brought, but the warranty fees were confusing to me. Otherwise, a great experience!

I purchased a Breville microwave with a soft closure door. It cost $369 for a small microwave. But the door started to have an issue within the first two weeks. The first time I thought it might be just a fluke but then it kept happening. Now it is just past the 15 days exchange policy and Best Buy wouldnt allow me to make an exchange. I purposely purchased it from Best Buy with the idea that they seem to be an easy place to due with if there happens to be an issue. But I was wrong. TERRIBLE!

This location much more helpful than the Brown Deer location. Ben helped me choose the right laptop carrier and then showed me all the different dashcams. I was able to get exactly what I wanted.

Last year when we were looking for outdoor cameras the customer service person at Best Buy recommended Arlo. We went with their suggestion & ran into a problem with changing the batteries (Im 71 & my husband has heart problems), so we cannot be climbing ladders every other day to change batteries. Due to covid I could not just run to the store & return. I wrote an email to Best Buy and got a response within a day or two. They came up with what I feel was a fair answer. They had a technician come back and install solar panels to the Arlo camera (no additional charge to us) and we of course had to pay for the solar panel.Since Best Buy was fair with their response to this problem we of course try to start at Best Buy when we need to buy other products. I trust them to help solve a problem fairly in the event something does work out as expected or advised.

In and out...bought what washer/dryer stack unit. The dude that helped me was cool. I probably could have saved some dollars by ordering online or buying used, but the geek squad is gonna hook up the new one and take away my broken one so worth it for the ease.

Dont know where else to post positive feedback, was hoping there was a survey or something on my receipt, but I guess this will have to do. Joe in the cellular department helped me understand my options and upgrades very clearly and ordered my new phone for me (it wasnt in stock.) And when I came in a week later to pick it up and get everything transferred from my old phone, it was Joe who helped me again. He orginally thought it was gonna take 30 minutes, and it was a Sunday evening and the store was pretty quiet, so we just chatted. My phone transfer actually ended up taking TWO HOURS! But thats on me and all my apps haha. But Joe was such a kind and genuine person that made the wait feel like nothing at all, and he was very knowledgeable about every question I asked. Just wanted to let Best Buy know they have a great one!

I need for staff to know and research products before they send customers home with items!! Ever since I bought my kitchen appliances from them, Ive been handled so wrong!! I go to get a filter for my fride because STAFF gave me the wrong one, only for staff to give me the wrong item again because they just grabbed a brand that matched the fridge. I ended up having to go to Home Depot for items I bought at BEST BUY!!! Ridiculous! No one handles phone calls properly and I went to more than one! Ive been hung up on, left on hold, or sent off. Smh! Please do better!

Best Buy is the tech store with a bit of everything. from vacuums to keyboards, they have a large selection of items. They dont have very much when it comes to the specifics, like if you went looking for a mouse they would have only 3 or 4 brands, but its still enough to find something that you will enjoy. Dont go here trying to look at every option of a specific product, but if you want to find something generic, or want to start a hunt for something youve wanted, then this is the place to go to.

I needed ink for a photo printer for my work. It said they had one but it wasnt on the shelf. The guy helping, despite things obviously being very busy, did not give up. He checked literally everywhere it could be, and finally found it. Saved me additional stops after a very long day, so the effort was very appreciated, especially since they had the best price of places that carry this type of ink. I will definitely be coming back to this location.
Purchasing a washer from this place was a living nightmare. I went to best buy to purchase a front load washer at their fourth of July sale. Angel helped me with my purchase. After paying for the washer Angel notified me I will receive a phone call in the next several days to set up delivery. After waiting a week and hearing nothing I began calling Best Buy to figure out what the hold up was. I waited over a hour and the phone was never answered by anyone. I did this several times for a entire week and still no answer. Next I called corporate and was then notified my washer was on back order with LG and they have no idea when it will be available. I then waited several days and was finally able to contact Angel to discuss my other options. Angel apologized and upgraded me to the next best washer and stated the washer would be delivered the following week. After the washing machine was delivered I began washing my clothes. When the washing machine went to the spin cycle it began vigorously shaking to the point it was moving all over the floor. It slammed into my plastic sink and also knocked a plastic pipe loose and water was everywhere. At this point I began to try to call Best Buy and again sat with the phone ringing approximately 45 minutes until someone answered and I asked for a manager. Mitch the manager then came to the phone but I told him I was about to just come to the store. I had explained to Mitch what was going on and he stated the soonest some one was able to come out was September a entire month. I then notified him after waiting so long already that was not acceptable to me and I would like to return my product because I was in need of a washer. After approximately 15 minutes Mitch tried to hand me a phone number and told me to call the delivery department in the morning and see if they could help. I then told him that was his responsibility not the customer and to call me when he is able to figure this out. At 8:30 pm I received a phone call from Ray in delivery. He notified me that somebody would be to my house to help me in the am. Gilbert and Shamar came and leveled my washer because the other installers didnt even after specifically asking them if it was done before they left. After both men left I then tried washing my clothes again and the washer was still jumping all over the floor. I then telephoned Ray in delivery and sent him a video of what was happening. He immediately sent Gilbert and Shemar back to the house because there was bolts left in the back of the washing machine that the installers were supposed to remove. Gilbert and Shamar then returned and removed the bolts that holds the drum of the washer in place. After they returned they both apologized and I told them it was not their fault because I told them to balance the washer that the first crew didnt do. Shamar was also very helpful because he took the time to show me how the smart washer works because it was very confusing to me. Now my washing machine is working but I am a little concerned what type of damage was done to the washing machine because it was ran with these bolts in and this prevented the drum from working properly. I WILL NEVER purchase anything from Best Buy again..ever. From the sales of the item and not notifying me it was on back order, to corporate not assisting, to store management needing to be told to take care of the issue, the washing machine not being installed properly, and also nobody answering the telephone for hours upon hours. UNACCEPTABLE in all areas across the board. Thank You to Ray in delivery that handled all these situations very promptly when notified. Now to figure out if what to do about this washer probably being damaged internally. any one purchasing this type of washer make sure these bolts are removed.
I will never use Best Buy Computer Repair Service ever again. Upon my computer screen breaking I took it in to be repaired. I was informed that it would take approx 2-4 weeks to receive it back but that the estimated date that I would get it back would be on 2/22 (which was about 3 weeks). Even though 3 weeks was much longer than I was hoping, I understood and agreed. I was told that within 7 days I would be called and/or emailed with a quote to repair the computer but first they needed to ship it out to Geek Squad City which is an undisclosed location that they are unable to share the address of with me. I was a little confused that my computer needed to be shipped out first in order to even get a quote for the repair but none the less I agreed. Additionally, I had to pay a non refundable $89 regardless of whatever the quote is to even have it shipped out. I again agreed to do that. It has been 4 weeks and no one has called me with a quote for my computer. I was sent a link to track the status of my computer. Upon checking the link, I noticed that it took them 3 weeks to even look at my computer to determine it was a massive cracked screen (which I told them about upfront). Once they determined the problem that I had already told them upon dropping off the computer, the next status update was we need to order a new part- good news! Its in stock! It has been a week since that update and no other updates have come through. If the part is in stock, why the heck is it taking them over a week to install it?!!! If its in stock, then freaking repair it! Freaking put the part on and ship it back to me. Why is it sitting there? So I called Geek Squad Repair Service and asked why it is taking over a week to put the part on? They responded sometimes it can take several days to install/ put on a part. I asked when the new updated estimated time frame would be for me to receive my computer would be as I was told the original estimated date was 2/22 and it now 3/2 and the part isnt even installed, let alone being shipped back to me. That computer is the computer I use to run and operate my business and I have now gone a month without it. The foreign repair customer service guy could not give me a new date as to when I will receive the computer but just kept repeating that sometimes it can take a few days. I thanked him and hung up. In the morning I called the actual best buy store that I dropped it off so that I could speak with the guy who told me I would have it back on 2/22. However, when calling Best Buy stores you are not able to talk to anyone directly as it is all robot/operator press this number and that number based I have now been on hold waiting to speak to a live person for 20 minutes- just to talk to a live person. Completely unacceptable. At this point, I could probably drive to the physical store quicker than being placed on hold. Had I known it would take longer than a month to repair (which Im still waiting on a quote for) I probably would of just bought a new computer or taken it elsewhere to get repaired.
It took a while for a customer service rep to approach me, dispite theyre availability. They were all huddled cracking jokes in the the tv department. But once someone from a different department came to assist the service I revieved was extraordinary. I wish that they were being more attentive from the beginning. This would have otherwise been a great visit!

This reviewer does not normally purchase products at Best Buy. However, they supplied a few things this year. The computer department has always been knowledgeable and helpful. Cashiers also answer questions or request help.Product selection is OK. In comparison to Back in the day, it pales because the personal computer industry was being defined. Apple versus IBM was one ongoing theme. Browser and network wars added to the excitement.

Came to the store looking for a printer. Needed help and was ignored by everyone working until I decided to leave 45 minutes later. The greeter at the door made sure to say goodbye. I then told him I was ignored until I was walking out of the door.
Rating delivery not appliances. We purchased all new kitchen appliances. Because we did not pay for removal they would not move my old refrigerator into the garage. I looked online and saw it was $20 for removal and asked the delivery drivers to add it on. Then I was told that they couldnβt do it, so I tried to call Best Buy and could not get a human being on the phone. So now I have 2 refrigerators in my front hall. Beware when you pay for only drop off thatβs all theyβll do.
Great service! Taking great strides to keep everyone safe, have clean station right when you get into the store for mask and purell and a staff member greets you right off to see how you can be helped.Staff also incredibly knowledgeable about products and able to take time to go through all options and products and really give the customer full attention.After we got home we found an online promotion for the exact product that we had purchased, when we called the store back they didnβt know quite what to do but it were more than happy to help, we just had to go back to the store, cancel the order and then reorder online. All of which could have probably been done over the phone and/or online but it worked and we saved some money so it all worked out! Nice staff, great service.
Located across from Mayfair, the store is convenient to get to and usually not too crowded. There are plenty of blue shirts around most of the time, but as usual, some are much more helpful than others. There is a true expert in the appliances department, an older gentleman with a beard. On the other hand, Iβve seen people in the computer department steer people wrong frequently, including a person deciding on which MacBook- they suggested a Windows laptop for 50% more. The magnolia area is basically abandoned, so donβt expect any real help with higher end gear.

Had a device to return with no hassle.
My visit was great. I was able to pick up a Apple CarPlay radio I needed and make an appointment right away to have it installed for free. While scheduling the installation appointment they were able to get me the right wiring hardness and installation kit. I was able to add a back up camera to the installation for free.
I only used the curbside service, but the guy was respectful and had a mask and gloves on. Totally appreciated it as the item was for someone who have lupus

We had a great experience. We had the announcement that the store was closing in 5 minutes. As we were leaving Elias stopped us and asked could he help us. We did not feel rushed at all as he showed us various products, answered our, questions, and made suggestions. It was a surprisingly good experience as many times no one asks if you need any help.
