I wish I could leave zero stars. I have gone through Walgreens pharmacy for several years and they have always been great. Not anymore. After changing their pharmacy hours they have became AWFUL. And not to mention they no longer take a MAJOR insurance group that my kids are in and had a whole ordeal having to switch pharmacies. I will never use Walgreens again for medicine. I’ve wasted hours of my life sitting in the line for nothing most of the time. Granted the employees are usually always friendly and nice, just not there with the timing of getting people their prescriptions.
IM DONE!!! This is now the 3rd time I have requested my refill to be shipped because I am given that option on the app & due to the lines being so long and slow now. I received an alert that it was ready for shipping, but then received another alert that it was ready for pick-up. They did not ship it out. They then try to make me either come in the store or go through the drive-thru, which either option is now normally a 1 to 1.5 hour wait. I called and was DETERMINED i was not going to hang up no matter how long i had to hold on the phone. My call was answered after 42 minutes on hold to ask why it had not shipped, same story... they just say we will get it out for you. No reason or excuse, they just didnt ship it. No more, I am transferring to another pharmacy immediately.
I still absolutely despise the pharmacy here. I should not be waiting in line for an hour!!! There were only 2 cars in front of me. This is crazy! Its like this every freaking time I come here. GET IT TOGETHER
Horrific experience AGAIN with this pharmacy! Vowed to never return. This time my sons Rx. Called in. We went to get it one hour later. 45 minutes more. Go to get behind time to learn, we dont have that medication here. And 10 minutes prior to closing! Told us Red Oak had it so we raced to Red Oak. Not sure why they told you that!... And were closing too. Oh My G! Now multiple calls to ER to call Rx to another pharmacy. Thank God, CVS came to the rescue. So, once again I vow, NEVER again, Walgreens!
Horrible experience with the pharmacy! Waited over an hour in the line to be told they are not accepting walk-ins that day. Everyone looks miserable or incompetent. Horrible customer service and very disappointed with how the pharmacist was acting. She looked miserable. Horrible, horrible experience. Went to Waxahachie Pharmacy down the street and was able to get my second COVID shot in under 15 mins. Everyone was so pleasant as well compared to Walgreens. The worst Walgreens I have ever been to! The pharmacist should be very disappointed of how it was ran so inefficiently. I am not one to leave reviews, but my experience was so awful I had to!
The pharmacy here has the absolute worst customer service, nobody back there seems to know what theyre doing or that they care at all about anybodys prescriptions getting done in a timely manner. No matter what scheduled time they tell you it should be ready it never is, drive through lines are always wrapped and takes an hour to go through five to six cars. You can go right down the street to CVS and get in and out and matter of minutes and prescriptions are always ready on time! Even the Walgreens in red oak is 100% better than this place!
This place is pathetic. Luckily, I don’t take prescriptions regularly, because if I did, I’d have to come up with a rent payment to pay to Walgreens because it takes forever to get one filled. Good luck calling them, they never answer the phone….and the line inside….pretend you are waiting in line for Franklin bbq….except disappointed when you get to the counter.
Longest wait in drive through ever. 45 minutes so far.
This has been the worst pharmacy experience of my life!!! They take a week to fill even a regular prescription! I had neck fusion surgery and had trouble swallowing. Literally couldn’t swallow and it took 4 days to get my steroids. 4 days!!! And I have had to call numerous times to get them to fill my medications because they HAVE my insurance on file and don’t run it until I call!! AND, not only that, but they don’t even RUN OR FILL it until I call!! THEN, it takes days to get filled! This has been an issue for 6 mo the and my insurance HAS NOT CHANGED!!!!! I recently got sick and needed medication for shingles and on the same day, they filled the same medication twice and gave me both bottles with the same prescription number on it! I am in the medical field and knew that there was an issue. I was also given 2 glucose meters on 2 separate days. When I brought both these issues to the attention of the pharmacist, she focused on telling me I was only charged for 1 of each of these. What if it had been a narcotic or a Med that would have done damage if I took both bottles?!?! They are so focused on doing covid tests and vaccines right now that they are taking a week to fill critical medications. If you can’t do your primary job of filling medications, then you need to cut back on ancillary services or get more help!! I am so done with this place!! They deserve zero stars!!
The absolutely WORST pharmacy! Each time you wait 30 minutes and then often your told it’s not ready. I was just told my prescription would be ready in 7 minutes, they wanted me to go back in line, which I waited 30 minutes in already.
I honestly dont know how this horrible place stays in business. From being on hold upwards to 45 minutes, then being cut off to being met with inept workers giving you the wrong information, and often the wrong prescription. Last week they filled my 90 day thyroid twice within3 days. I have no idea why they insist on being horribly rude. Even the Pharmacist doesnt care. Often I wait in line for 45 minutes for a confirmed prescription to find that its nowhere to be found. I just hope this pharmacy doesnt mess up so bad that they harm someone.
The staff here are soooo slooooow. Had an appointment for Covid vaccine and an hour and a half after the scheduled time, we still had not been seen. We arrived before the scheduled time. They need more people or better people.
I rarely write reviews; only when compelled to do so by an exceptional experience. In this case, the experience has been exceptionally poor. If you wonder why this pharmacy has such poor reviews (after all, it is a Walgreens), perhaps I might be able to shed a little light on the situation with the Waxahachie location.Aside from the fact that Walgreens pharmacies are notoriously higher than many of their competitors, the chain generally enjoys a good reputation in terms of service, which offsets the inflation of their prices. We are consumers of both goods and services. Excellent service is worth a premium in many situations. My experience with this particular Walgreens contradicts my previous experience at other locations and was as follows:Day 1: I call to check on a prescription that had been sent in several hours earlier. I am on hold for 13 minutes, during which time I am assailed by a loud pronouncement WERE SORRY BUT.... every. twenty. seconds. So it is impossible to work or really do much of anything else while I am on hold because every twenty seconds I am being screamed at about how sorry they are. Now, when I first began holding, I was informed by the voice that there was one caller ahead of me. Somehow, during the 13 minutes, I was tossed back in the queue. I know this because after several minutes there were three people ahead of me.Perceiving something was amiss, I decided to hang up and call back. This time I am on hold for another 12 minutes before someone answers the phone. 25 minutes total wait while being screamed at by the mystery voice every 20 seconds about how sorry they are.I am then put on a soft-hold. you know, when they ask you to hold after youve been on hold for 25 minutes. No problem. Finally, after another couple of minutes, I am asked for my information, etc.I am told my prescription will be ready in an hour. Cool.30 minutes later I receive a call. They dont have my meds. It will be tomorrow I am told. FineDay 2: Around 2:30 I decide to call and check on my prescription. It was my lucky day (sort of). I am only on hold this time for 7 minutes before a human addresses me.I am now told that the truck came in and they will look and see IF my meds came in with the delivery. they will let me know she says. Now, this prescription isnt something exotic, mind you. Its a staple pretty much everywhere. So I am now 2 days past due on my meds and am told theyre going to see whether they have them or not even though they told me they did and then they didnt and then that they would have them but now they dont know if they do.So, I am paying about 50% more for my prescription than I would at HEB and that premium that is supposed to be offset by exceptional service... well, the service is certainly exceptional. Only not in a good way.
You will die waiting on your prescriptions from this pharmacy. Was told by young lady that she would be right with me, but ten minutes later still no help! I pulled around and went inside and the young lady was texting on her phone and stocking shelves. This is just outrageous. 2 people ahead of me had been standing in line well over 30 minutes. No sense of urgency whatsoever, so if want the worst experience ever come to this location.
I understand the pharmacy being under staffed but the ones working dont have to be so rude. I was ok waiting in a 30 min (only 3 people) line thinking they were understaffed but the rudeness made was not ok. There system was down for 3 days and I couldnt go to another Walgreens. Walgreens itself needs to update some policies too. I will make the drive to red oak.
I am a person that believes in customer service, I came to make a purchase and couldn’t get help the lady at the front called someone twice to come then another lady came around the corner and said you should call so and so directly he is the only one with the key, and walked away then the lady at the front had to go look for the person. This could’ve been handle better. I will no longer come to this location. I should’ve read the reviews first.
I hate that I have to even give one star! I have to go here often to pick up my grandmothers prescriptions and its always messed up somehow or takes an hour to get through the line! Recently ordered photos online which said it would be ready in two hours. I showed up after the time they were supposed to be ready and they hadnt even started printing them yet. 3 hours later, I called and they said they would be ready in 15 minutes because they just needed to be packaged. I get back to the store almost 30 minutes later and theyre just sitting on the counter, still not packaged. I wait inside for them to be packaged and the associate acted like it was a huge inconvenience to her.
Honestly I just feel bad for people who literally cannot live without medication. I have been to this pharmacy 4 times in 24 hours trying to get my asthma and allergy meds. Still not filled. Understaffed, dirty, and the pharmacist doesnt speak above a whisper. I will be relocating ASAP.
Do not get your prescriptions sent here, everytime you wait in line whether it is inside or in the drive thru be prepared to wait 40 minutes to over an hour just to be seen. Ridiculous. And fed up.
Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. I was in the drive through for an hour one time just to do a pick up. The line inside isn’t much better. Once they lost my prescription order I had to go back to the doc and made them call it into them instead. I’m going somewhere else after today.
Absolutely slow go anywhere else if you can they take a hour for anything
I had an awful experience at the Photo Desk. I had to wait on a clerk to arrive for 10mins. They couldnt locate my order so they reprinted my photos which took another 20mins. No seating available or offered. Was accosted by an associate as I was leaving telling me the rules I should follow next time I order photos. I was using the Walgreens app and followed the instructions there but he wasnt at all knowledgeable about it or the steps that were recommended in order to streamline the whole process of picking up developed photos. Top it off they chopped the heads off of several photos. I wont go back.
If this pharmacy can’t provide service any faster than what they are averaging, they should close it down. Hour-long drive thru lines are unacceptable.
We waited in the photo line for 30 min. When we got to the front of the line the lady was no where to be found. She came and apologized to us but then started talking to another employee ignoring what we were trying to tell her. She then tells us that our photos are not ready. We ordered the photos online which were supposed to be ready by 11:30. We went at 1 expecting them to be done an hour and a half later than they should have been. She told us to wait another 10 minutes while she starts printing them.. and that we will have to wait in the line again....
This pharmacy is the slowest I ever used. I will never use it again....
Great extras to pick up while scripts are filled
Disorganized and lazy staff, especially in pharmacy.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. My prescription was supposed to be filled last week and here I am on Tuesday waiting in line for it. I have waited for close to 45 minutes. In the drive thru! Dont waste your time here. Definitely pick another location.
Called for my post heart transplant toddler’s blood pressure medication to be filled yesterday. They said it would be ready by noon yesterday. Went there to pick up the prescription at 9:30 in the morning today in order for my 3 year old to not miss his morning dose and they tell me they do not have it in stock. I did not receive any phone call or anything to let me know they couldn’t fill this medication. I told them he is going to miss his dose and the lady at the window just blew it off basically didn’t show any care or try to help me by transferring the prescription to a pharmacy that has it in stock. They are unprofessional and don’t seem to care much about their customer’s health.
I have been in the drive through line for over an hour and still not gotten my medication. In a lot of pain from surgery and trying to get my pain meds. I don’t know why I’m the hell you have one person working the window. This is the third time I have been here and waited an ungodly amount of time because there is one employee at the drive through window. Please staff better!!!!!!
Absolutely horrible! Always an issue with getting my actual prescription, told different things by different employees. Now been out of pills since last week and none of them ordered the medication when they said they would. Not sure how they ran out to begin with, since they admitted it was a common one! Always wait over 30 minutes on hold before they will answer the phone. Please take heed, believe all of these reviews, and do NOT take your chances with this joke of a pharmacy. You will regret it big time.
Waited at the photo counter for several minutes while 3 different employees walked past me, not bothering to see if I’d been helped or to offer any assistance. Super rude. I get that some people may not be trained on certain stations, but if you have a line of customers then the least you can do is find someone who can help, not just ignore the situation. The shift manager eventually wandered by and was very nice, (I had to cancel my photo order because they were out of 4x6 photo paper And wouldn’t be getting any for a week) and was the only person I saw with any human decency. Just a pro tip guys: if you are awkwardly avoiding eye contact with a customer rather than seeing if you can help than you aren’t doing your job.
I read the reviews prior to going to this business but decided to give it a chance. What a mistake. One pharmacist was great and personable. He was not from this country but the white guy was coldand snotty. It took me almost two weeks to get my prescription and I did not recia call whrn it was ready. I had to stay on top of them to find out its status. I will never go to a Walgreens again for any reason. For an old, supposed to be professional business, this one falls way below the bar. The only redeeming quality was the one pharmacist. Owner/manager needs to provide proper training and oversight of the personnel. Very poorly run.
The pharmacy department is close to incompetent.
Judy acts like she couldn’t care any less. Very rude in person and on the phone.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever done business with, totally unprofessional, takes hours to fill an order and have even hung up the phone so it will stop ringing. They could care less about you or your scripts from what I have experienced. I would suggest using the Walgreens in Ennis which is well run and treat their customers well. I would give them a minus 10 if possible.
Not surprised at all to see so many negative reviews. I’ve had multiple issues with this pharmacy but the worst is being shorted twice now on my medication. The first was for over 30 pills and today I was shorted 60!!! The error was eventually explained after speaking to the pharmacist, but still unacceptable!! YOU MUST do a clean count on pills when orders get messed up or changed, and they did not. Many things were assumed by all staff which truly revealed their incompetence. You can not make this many errors when it comes to medicine!! The staff is very unprofessional and most definitely not trained properly. In one day alone I think I was told 3 different stories with regard to my medication. They honestly have no idea what they’re doing. I am still owed 180 pills from them (which also seems to be the norm) but I will be switching pharmacies as soon as I receive them.
Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever! Have used the automated prescription refill and both times it has not gone through even though I have made sure and received a verbal confirmation. Then told they are out of the med and have to go back again.
Went in for flu shot only one here in line 5 ppl working and still waiting been 30 min. This is ridiculous no wonder they have a score of 1.8.
Came by at 11:15 am, was told my prescription would be ready at 12:30 pm. Waited in line at 1:15pm and then the guy told me it still wasn’t even put it yet and it would be ready by 2pm. I told him how I was told it should be ready by now and then he changed it to 2-2:30pm. Have some respect for your customers time! Last time I pick up anything from this location!
Whats the point of making an appointment if you have to end up waiting 45 minutes? Please employ competent people.
Horrible service
Very friendly staff, always super helpful and a wonderful friendly neighborhood stop!
Unorganized & Unprofessional smh
They misplaced my vacation photos and I had to follow up with them and their photo processing center several times. In the end I was told that my original waterproof camera has been disposed of and my photos have been deleted without even being sent to the store. So in short they took the film and threw it away! I will never be back and strongly suggest finding a better place for any type of film processing.
2 months in a row they have not filled my prescription on time...as of now a week late...worse pharmacist ever. They act like their doctors... .cant get the medicine you need on a timely matter
Give them another try! Used them twice now and they were fantastic!
Saw the ad for flu shots. Got a flyer (with our paperwork!) in the mail for flu shots. Called to find out the pharmacy hours (open at 7 am) and the automated voice told us that flu shots were available...no appointment needed...walk-ins accepted. So we walked in at 8 am. The store was empty. No one greeted us at the pharmacy counter. When we called back for someone, we were told that there was an hour and a half wait!!! Ridiculous! So we went to Target, where we were greeted immediately and got our flu shots right away. Guess where we will go from now on?
Worst customer service ever!! They didnt have my sons medication so they told me on Friday it would be there on Monday, Monday rolled around and now they are saying possibly Wednesday!! They also told me it cant be transferred to another pharmacy. So now my son has to go 6 days without his medicine! Every one there that i have spoken with is very rude and tell me something different! We will NEVER use walgreens again!
Worst pharmacy in Waxahachie. Save yourself time and headache and go somewhere else.
I transferred all of my prescriptions to Red Oak, because the pharmacy is so slow and no one ever smiles. I only gave a 2nd star, because of the employee that usually works in the morning and in the beauty department, she is always smiling and upbeat.
The lady who handled the drive through prescriptions on 11/28/18, between 11am and 3pm. Needs to be fired!!! She does not do her job properly!!!
ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY! There should be an option for 0 stars!Chose this pharmacy when I moved here 2 years ago because it was a 24 hour pharmacy. Its obvious why they are no longer 24 hours and obviously lost this advantage. I have NEVER waited in the drive thru or inside for less than 25 min, and most times are a MINIMUM of 40min plus ! I have wanted to review so many times but couldnt get my Google sign on working! Well today i wanted to take the time to figure it out. I have already switched to HEB Pharmacy months ago, but had a refill to here. For once I walked up 1 lady checking out and 1 man in front of me. A blonde/gold headed lady takes the man in front of me. The worker taking care of the lady vanishes. When the lady taking care of the man finishes, she walks off, BOTH OF WHICH made eye contact with me as I am waiting patiently. I waited an additional 10 minutes waiting for someone else to walk by and check me out. NO ONE! Finally as nice as I could, I asked a staff member who was restocking shelves nearby, do you think you could find someone to check me out, she ended up being the one. I explained my frustration that this is a typical event here... no reply. I HATE THIS PLACE, AND YOU WILL TOO. I have given so many chances BUT THIS IS THE LAST
The lines are never long and I have never felt unsafe here. Day or night this is a good location.
Just go to CVS or even Walmart is better than Walgreens. Horrible service and everyone needs training. They make a mistake and want to turn it around like its your own fault. Waited an hour for a medication that was suppose to be ready in 1 hour. I go up to the counter to check the status and they say its not even in the system yet and could take up to 4-5 hours?Walgreens pharmacy is a joke.
It seems impossible to get a prescription filled correctly or on time at this location and the staff if not helpful or knowledgeable.
I called the pharmacy due to an issue with my insurance the lady I spoke with was rude! I asked her how much longer until the meds are ready.... mind you I dropped it off at 9.30am its now 12pm she yelled at me WE ARE VERY BUSY THEY WILL BE READY WHEN THEY ARE READY! This is not how you speak to people!
Easily the worst, slowest most disinterested pharmacy I have ever been to. 1 prescription at 10 pm and waited hours. They take a pissy stance because they are the only 24 hour pharmacy in town. Its best to wait until daytime or visit the 24 hour CVS in Red Oak
Nothing but bad experiences with this place...the latest was when I signed up for a flu shot at 7am...I get there and the lady behind the counter tells me “that’s not possible, cause my tech doesn’t come in until 730”...now I was on a time crunch and just couldn’t wait...what is the point of having an appointment when the staff isnt there to serve you?...after all the bad experiences...this was the final straw...never again...
Cant get thru to the actual store when you call the pharmacy, got to the store and the employees were so incredibly rude. Stopped using this pharmacy a long time ago for the same reason, needed 24 hour pharmacy in a pinch, regret my choice.
This is our last visit to the Waxahachie Walgreens. The pharmacy tech coul not teturn my hello or even look up at me. She did not have an expression on her face. This seems to be a pattern here. The pharmacy staff looks unkempt and acts unprofessionally. They laugh and talk about days off to the other employees then can bearly speak to a customer. I even heard a woman complain that her prescription got stuck in the drivethru tube and she was told she has to call the company that makes the tubes herself. All I can say is Wow. We gave it several tries here and each visit was worse than the last. Bye!
Nice place the people need work!
Agree with several other reviewers. Ive had to wait in a drive thru 20+ minutes EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Going in? Easily half an hour. I think they are incredibly understaffed, which leads to the chaos and disorganization. With current insurance, its here or Walmart pharmacy-Ive never seen anything like it. I killed an HOUR tonight-drove through, stated script needed preauth (after 30 mins in drive thru)-asked what was filled, the pharm tech named the generic. I explained (like every other time for the past 8 months) The script was for branded-she asked me to drive around. No problem, except it was another 23 minutes. I guess Im hitting Walmart from now on--Never again to Walgreens-if the choice was die without the medicine or die a slow soul-killing death in line one more time, I would skip the meds.
I waited over an hour for my prescription. Waxahachie Walgreens is VERY VERY slow
Pharmacy really sucks here.... Everything is so Damn slow.... What are you guys really doing back there????
Rudest and slowest pharmacy Ive ever dealt with. Definitely recommend for others to go to another pharmacy.
Waited 4 hours for prescription that I was told 2. Then they didnt have one and hospital called and they said 15 more min. Ended up close to an hour with very little customer service. I was not alone several other people had been waiting 3+ hours. Worst service ever!!!
This is the slowest pharmacy line by far.
The pharmacy employees including the the pharmacist was rude. I would never go there again
Pharmacy can be slow...but I still like them.
Bunch of retards who somehow cant seem to function. Not sure how they get up in the morning to make it to the job.Been waiting in the drive-thru for almost 25 mins now.Drink bleach Walgreens pharmacy.
Really disappointed about them no longer being open 24 hours. Sucks. For real
Not too friendly customer service from an employee named Stefan. Also a bit rude when I asked for help. Given the run-around at Walgreens seemed a bit unnecessary. Wont ship here again and dont really recommend it.
Today was the absolute worst customer service ever! I moved my Rxs from CVS a couple months ago for their lack of service... Now Im not sure theres any difference. Cashiers in pharmacy were not friendly, seemed put out when I caught a mistake on my receipt (an over charged item, which I had to bring them the tag off the shelf.), even the pharmacist seemed grumpy. Im just very disappointed in Walgreens tonight. I hope they get their s**t together and put customers first.FYI I had to wait over an hour for Rxs that were ready for pickup. Craziness!!!!
You give the place multiple chances just in case the bad experience is a one off, but too many times theyre either out of the medication or the wait is 45 min or more. Never experienced a worse pharmacy
So I was in line and there was one person in front of us and it took nearly 30 minutes to get my prescription and it wasnt ready and took nearly 20 minutes to get it ready and yea 50 minutes
Always late. Always.
Dirty Walgreens, seems unsafe outside, constantly messing up orders, short staffed and have to always wait in long lines
The signs all say that the pharmacy is open 24 hours and it is not.
Answer the phone!
Worst pharmacy Ive ever dealt with.
Had to go here several time for prescriptions and this place has issues.
Was there today and the cashier i had was rude and didnt seem like he liked his job.
Walgreens is overrated
