We didnt even know this store existed, which is funny considering how many times weve been to the Entenmanns bakery right around the corner.When I first saw the category of general store listed for this location I thought thats probably a mistake, but then after looking at the pictures realized it wasnt.This is one of those locations that you should check out if you want to check out a fun location thats much different then the big box stores. Its like a fun shopping, searching experience.

Its a good store but the website is horrible. I wanted to order something and you cant. Ive had trouble ordering on line with them before, but this time I couldnt get to that screen which has always been challenging.

Have been ordering hose from Mayer Berkshire for nearly 25 years and the service has been consistently excellent. Placed an order just moments ago and the rep. went out of her way to track down remainders of my usual style, which is no longer being manufactured. Good as gold.

Almost always find what I need. Usually buy something I dont need but can always use.Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Finding quality at reasonable prices makes me feel like a smart shopper. Not every item is a bargain. But when Ive left thinking Ive spent more than I intended, Ive always felt like I got my moneys worth.💰

Ive shopped here since it was a warehouse. It has great merchandise at reasonable prices. The store is not so big that its a chore to find what your looking for. The help is knowledgeable and available if you cant find something. One of my favorite stores.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I thought it would be less expensive that it was. I can get alot of their clothing lines cheaper online or in other outlets. Plus the size selection was not very good.

I am not a woman who goes barelegged. I prefer ultra sheer hosiery and Bershire is the brand that fits.

Not a place I would go back to - prices were not aggressive - lots of different brands but no depth of product - if you want to get out not a bad walk through but I bet you wont buy anything

I had the most uncomfortable and racist shopping experience of my life in this store. Just some brief backround about myself, i am a hispanic male who has been working fulltime in retail for more than 3 years so i know more than your average customer on how your supposed to be treated as a shopper.This was my first time coming to the store and i heard many great things about their variety of brands so i decided to go take a look myself. I had never been and i must say i was impressed with what the store carried but unfortunately i could not find a single thing in my size and i was not once greeted to see if i needed any help. After 35 minutes or so i decided to leave since the service was bad and just as i thought it wouldn’t get worse, on my way out of the store an older female employee looks at me and says “Just passing through?”. I had no idea what that ment initially and right as i exited the door i heard a remark in the background from another employee who stated “We should check their pockets.”I 100% WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER ALLOW ANYONE I KNOW TO EVER SUPPORT A COMPANY WHO ALLOWS THERE EMPLOYEES TO BE AS RACIST AND DISCRIMINITIVE AS THEY WERE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN UNCOMFORTABLE AND RACIST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE HEAD OVER TO BERKSHIRE GENERAL STORE IN WAYNE, NJ. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Good for mens socks and some underwear, a few other ok deals, good luck to have someone ask if you need anything, especially boots, sneakers, etc, no one around, there all in the womens section .. wouldnt even let me put the stuff I wanted by the register while I kept shopping, tired of the snooty attitude everytime I go, the deals arent that great that I need to deal with bitter nasty ppl .
