I came here to get a coolant change for my truck. They must not like out of town people. Instead of coolant I got WATER! I kept wondering why my truck was running hot (I was pulling a trailer). When we got home I came to my local mechanic and he said its all water, no coolant.This place will try anything to rip people off. If my truck blew a head gasket due to over heating, there would have been a lawsuit on their hands. I would NEVER take any of my cars there!!What a waste of time and money!!Buyer beware! You have been warned!

I thought I had a giant exhaust problem on my truck. These guys treated me with kind, professional service! Checked out my problem, told me it was much more simple than I thought. Worst business in Waynesboro waited 2 hours to put a tire on the back of a jeep thought oh 5 min and when I asked on the wait he told me if I didnt like it I could do it myself went sure stick it in my jeep ill do it by hand in 5 min woman with us said she wouldnt be back as we wont I dont know where these 5 star reviews went wasnt here

Make purchased online to installed in store. Paid for everything online. Nobody used masks or gloves and will get close to you when speaking. They didn’t took very well that I parked my car inside and locked the door to protect against COVID-19. It took them over 20 min to find my order in the system. When everything was done and I park back in front of the store and check, all my 4 wheels were scratched. The manager took pictures snd said he will give me a call latter. Then he proceded to charge me for installation even that it was paid in full online and I have my proof of purchase email on hand, that took an additional few minutes to clarify. After two days I received a call fm goodyear, not Jenkins Automotive, telling me they were calling me on behalf of Jenkins Automotive to inform me that Jenkins said they were not responsible for the damage. My venture with Goodyear and Jenkins ended in 4 scratched wheels in my 2016 Subaru Outback and nobody responsible to compensate. Good luck.

I came here with a leak in my tire. I told them I was from out of town and in a hurry. They could of easily tried to upsell me, but they didn’t. They patched the tire in 30 minutes, charged me $20, and I was out the door.

Love that I can request appointments online and designate email preference for contact. I had them mount and balance 4 tires for me. Pricing was what I expected, and time to do the work was quick. Didnt get in right when my appointment was, but it wasnt too far off. Very professional and friendly employees. Covid measures were in place and followed by everyone I saw.

We have been here many times. Each time they told us the issue, the whys of what needed to be done, the cost, and how long it would take. Each time they were true to their word. I do recommend them to others.

Fast and friendly service. I needed to have my truck inspected before the end of the year, called them and within an hour I drove there had my inspection and was on my way.

The failed to fix a fuel pump properly. Had it break down two months later. They claim rodents are it both times but never mentioned it the first time. Took it back because now the check engine light is coming a day after it was fixed and the oil change place ran a diagnostic that showed it was a bad fuel pump.Showed up again and the manager, Greg, cussed me out and with his hand shooed me away.He is an awful man and this place is shady, doesn’t fix the work and will rip you off. Be very aware. I can’t wait to take them to court!

Just swung by randomly to get an inspection done. They quoted the time to be an hour, no more than an hour and a half. They were done in less than 30 minutes. Very pleased with these friendly, helpful guys!

Took my wifes car in for an oil change and tire rotation. They fit us in and unlike some service stations, didnt try to convince us there were hundreds of dollars of repairs we needed to have done. Will definitely be using them for all future automotive needs.

Jenkins does not stand behind their work. Went to them for about 12 years, and finally had enough of their rudeness to women and calling my husband a liar. After an oil change they didnt put things back together correctly, and told him the reason the covering for the undercarriage came undone was because he hit a turkey on the interstate. I think it shows they dont appreciate loyalty. We are taking our vehicles to a great place now.

Weve been using Jenkins for years. My husband drives for a living, we put a lot of miles on our vehicles. Jenkins has always been timely, helpful, and conscientious, and I trust their expertise explicitly. You never have to worry youre getting the runaround, unlike some shops. Id call out employees by name, but there are at least six people that Im happy to see behind the counter when I walk in, because I know theyre going to take good care of things for me, and you cant ask for more than that at a business.

Had my truck towed here without notice. They had me driving down the road an hour later with a new serpentine belt. Thanks very much.

Do not recommend!!! I have waited over a year to write this because I really wanted to give them the benefit of doubt, however now it’s tome to share. Went there for an inspection sticker and was told we needed new rotors on a Lexus that had less than 40,000 miles on it. It drove perfectly fine before they got their hands on it! Six months later and the whole car shakes when I hit the brakes. My regular garage (who unfortunately doesn’t do inspections) tells me it has bad rotors! Yeah - NOW it really does have bad rotors. We return to Jenkins with the knowledge that we are aware they put a bad set of rotors on our car and they explained that yeah sometimes you just “get a bad set from the factory” and they agreed to replace them at no charge. Nice of them huh!! Wish they could’ve put my ORIGINAL rotors back on that likely didn’t need to be replaced to start with. Fast forward six months and again we’re shaking every time we hit the brakes. Getting new rotors AGAIN .......but definitely not at Jenkins! I think they use their inspection sticker service to make an extra buck that shouldn’t necessarily be made. Beware!

Told me it would be 2 hours. All i needed was an inspection. They had a full lot so it was understandable. I was out in less than an hour. They definitely dont try to make you wait too long. If you are going to stay and wait for your car they will do their best to squeeze you in.

First, I tried to schedule an appointment online and never received a phone call or email back to either confirm that appointment, or make a new one. Second, I tried to give them a second chance. I called ahead of time asking if they had time for a state inspection. The guy who answered said “yes, come on in. It’s first come, first served so no appointment is needed.” Well, I arrived about 15 minutes later and all of a sudden, the SAME GUY who answered my phone call looked me in my face and said “I can’t do a state inspection until Monday.” ....are you kidding me?! Do not go here. Terrible communication skills and customer service skills.

Went in for inspection and Greg made a weird remark about me expecting a car, and asked WHEN I CONCEIVED!! Im sure I gave him a look as if he were just plain stupid. My car failed inspection. (Our fault, not theirs), but he changed his story about why, and blew it off as, oops, wrong car. It left me wondering if he knew what he was talking about. Then he quoted me a price to fix the car, and I told him my husband could do the work himself. So he asked if hed use duct tape.Left me with a bad impression of himself.Wont go back. Just the snide remarks alone make him sound silly, and cast a bad image of the shop. Im sure the mechanics are just fine if you can make it past the front staff.Absolutely inane and inappropriate!

Do not waste your time, we had taken our car to get an oil change and after we pick it up there was black oil marks from someone hands on our interior. We had brought it back to them asking them to please fix this and they denied any wrong doing. I’m not understanding why they wouldn’t acknowledge it and apologize and simply fix it. We are never going back and never referring them to anyone. That’s NOT how you handle a situation in which they caused. Next time maybe have your employees wash their hands before driving a expensive foreign car. No one wants black oil marks on their light colored interior 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

So Ive been taking my car here for a bit now and every visit has been excellent. All of the staff are super friendly and accommodating. They have great prices, flexible scheduling, and service times vary a little but are well within reason. These guys really go above and beyond the call. Unlike many mechanics they dont just do the work and ignore everything else, if they see something wrong they investigate and bring it to your attention. Some people might see this as a money grab but I happily accept their expertise and knowledge in keeping my vehicle at peak condition and safe. I took my truck in this morning (its a Saturday, about 0830) for an oil change and inspection. Didnt have an appointment. Dude told me theyd do their best to get it before closing (1400). I took a walk, had breakfast, and came back about 1000, and it was ready. Considering they had all bays full when i i t there and i didnt have an appointment, this was pretty dang nice. AND there were no extra charges or suprises, except that tge price had been reduced a few dollars thanks to a coupon they had available. The staff that i encountered seemed personable enough as well. All in all, this was a great experience.

Staff is friendly and extremely efficient ! Anyone that doesnt think they do awesome work should look at their parking lot ! That will tell the TRUE story rather than the posts in the reviews . I take both of my vehicles to them for service and have always been treated with dignity and respect . When I take my vehicles in I want to know that everything has been checked as I am very concerned about ANY vehicle my family drives. Unlike some guys I know I want my family to have the safest trip possible !

We had car problems on a road trip and they were very friendly and helpful without trying to oversale us. What could have been a very expensive and time consuming issue turned out to be an easy fix due partially to their great customer service and willingness to look at our car! Paid over 2000 to get my car fixed and get a tune up. Not even 2 weeks later the engine blew up.

Ive had excellent experiences here and been given phenomenal mechanical advice by the manager, Greg. A garage that is highly recommended.

I tried to use their online scheduling and they never contacted me for a time to bring my car in. Then when I called to schedule a time instead of letting me know when I could come in they argued with me. So rude! I do not recommend dealing with these people.

An honest mechanic is hard to find. I brought my car in thinking I new I was in for an expensive repair, and told them what I thought the problem was up front. Turns out it was a minor wiring issue that they found and fixed for about $70 dollars when I was expecting to pay close to 1K. I will be happy to recommend them and bring my cars back in the future.

VERY Friendly and helpful! I stopped in after picking up a screw in my tire while traveling through. These folks could not have been nicer. They fixed my tire and got me on my way in 30 minutes. Wow!

Great service and friendly staff. I had just had my windshield replaced and went to get my car inspection, the staff told me I would need to wait 24 hours before they could do it because they wouldnt want to break the seal by putting it on the lift. Saved my some heartache down the road!!

They are some of the most trustworthy mechanics around. And they will work with you to help you get going again. I have had them even take and pick me up from work because it ended up taking longer to do the job. Because of other unseen problems after getting into work being done.

I brought my wife’s car in for a state inspection ($13 with a coupon) and basic oil change ($24.95) recently. When I went to pay, I was unpleasantly surprised to have a bill of $66.71. Apparently, the extra $25+ I was charged was for additional oil and a wiper blade.Her car only takes 4.2 quarts of oil, so I’m baffled as to why they charged for over 6 quarts. Additionally, the wiper blades were less than a month old and I was never shown the “faulty” one they replaced. The replacement blade was of a much lower quality than what I use anyway.I was in a hurry that morning and didn’t have time to argue about it, but it’s safe to say I will never give them my business again. Very disappointing, and I have a feeling they probably do this to a lot of people, tacking on unnecessary charges to increase their profits.

We have been bringing our cars here for the 18 years we have been living in Virginia. Thought very highly of them until recently. Not the same service or response since Chris left. Angry staff and always leave there feeling like an idiot. Left messages for the district manager Clyde to call to address concerns and never received a call. Unfortunate because they used to do a great job. Since then we have taken our business elsewhere.

UPDATE: Took my vehicle to Service Rite in Waynesboro, VA for another opinion. All it needed was CVT Transmission fluid to be topped off (I could not check this myself as CVTs are considered sealed transmissions) AND they ran a computer diagnostic. This cost a total of $48.37 which was only $8.37 more than Jenkins INCORRECT diagnosis where all they did was drive it (didnt even run a computer diagnostic) and charged $40.00 without prior agreement. For complete honestly, go to Service Rite. I will definitely be contacting a lawyer about a class action lawsuit against this company for trying to take advantage of me and many others.Horrible service. I wish I would have checked the Google reviews on here before bringing my vehicle in but my boyfriend had work done on his and I trusted them. I called to get a second opinion from them after getting my original diagnosis from the Jeep dealer to see why my vehicle was making a whining noise and was told to bring it in that they may not get to it today (Wed) but they will on Thursday. Brought it in, dropped it off and was told Friday that I needed a new transmission. When I declined having a new $4,000 transmission put in, I was told there was a $40 charge for checking the vehicle. This was not mentioned to me at all when I originally called to drop it off. After checking out the Google reviews, I am seeing a lot of other females have been taken advantage of by this shop. I paid the $40 to have my vehicle released although it is illegal in the state of Virginia to charge fees without prior acknowledgement and is a violation of the Consumer Protection Act. I have since contacted the State Attorney General on this shop, the BBB, the Division of Consumer Counsel of the Department of Law and will be contacting a Lawyer... not because of the $40 but because I will not allow them to continue to do this to unsuspecting customers.

They are good hard working people. Just be patient with them. This is the only Jenkins I will ever go to.

Do not take your car there, was told to bring my car @ 7 am. When I dropped the car off was told it would be several hours before my car could be looked at, 3 hours later got a call saying what was wrong with my car but they didnt have the piece to fix the car. And I would have to take it back to the dealership as they were the only ones who had the piece to fix my car, keep in mind i drive a chevy, REALLY!! Then charged me $40- so quick run down: brought my car in, they kept my car for 3 hours, did nothing and charged me $40. Thanks for nothing...

Well I probably wont be going back. Ive been to this shop twice now. The first time was for a brake job. Their $295 price turned into $500 when their mechanic told me I needed 2 new brake calipers that had just been replaced by their sister shop in Charlottesville the year before. The last time I went in was for an oil change, waited about 2 hours only for their mechanic to come back and tell me my car was too low for them to work on....

Jenkins in waynesboro va have the best guys there that are trustworthy and have been there for years of hardwork. You feel good going there.

This place is terrible. Went in to have them check why I was leaking oil, and to get an oil change. They told me they didnt know why it was leaking, and gave several guesses, not attempting at all to fix the problem. I took my car to a better shop, where they found I was missing a gasket, which jenkins should have seen while changing my oil.

I would not recommend taking your vehicle to these people. they said they fixed my car, but just a few days later i had the same problem. they basically took my money without fixing the vehicle.
