For the 17th time in 32 years I had Lawrence Transportation Systems handle a move for me/family member.As always, the entire move was handled professionally. Robin Holcomb, Move Coordinator, provided an estimate promptly and was extremely courteous and friendly. She and others in the organization communicated with me before, during and after the move to inform me of the schedule and the name of my driver and to check on the progress of the move and my satisfaction afterwards.Bobby Palmer, the driver, and his crew arrived on time and immediately went to work, laying down rug runners to protect my floors and padding all of the furniture. Not once did they stop for a break. As a result, the intrastate move, which was scheduled for two days, was completed in only one.Kudos to Lawrence for another job well-done!

I moved across the country and United made it so easy. The rep from Lawrence moving kept with me for months before the move and answered every question that kept coming up. They gave me the initial estimate and then several months after I paired down all my things and sold furniture, they came back out and gave me the final estimate. I decided to let them pack only my paintings and my delicate objects. The packers did an amazing job and were done in just over an hour. They kept my things in storage for me until I was ready and then all my things were delivered and they even setup my TV and put my beds in place. The people on both ends of this move were wonderful to deal with and just so helpful. Even the woman who coordinated Lawrence Moving and United in Phoenix. This whole experience for me was stress free and easy!

I never heard back from anyone when I inquired about moving

The long distance move with Lawrence was outstanding. From back-office to driver to packers/loaders, everyone provided an excellent experience. Special recognition goes to Marlon, our driver. He was focused on meeting our unique needs at every point in the process. Cannot say enough about his dedication and care for getting it right. Weve had many long distance moves over the years but none have been as good as this one.

We have used Lawrence/United for one interstate and one long-distance move and were so pleased with the estimator and ultimately the movers. Roger Keene was a very professional driver who took full responsibility for loading up a very LARGE (53) truck and getting it from Virginia to Colorado safely. There were some unusual challenges and the crews met them head-on with good humor and ingenuity. Thank you all!

Nice place, quick loading out in less than one hour

Lawrence Transportation Systems was an excellent company. My move couldnt have gone any smoother. All the employees take pride in what they do and they do it well. They arrived on time to my old home and my new one. Packing went smoothly and delivery and set up was as well. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Lawrence Transportation System/United Van Lines were very professional, efficient, and paid a great deal of attention to the details. They made our move the most stress free as possible. The amazing driver Wayne E. and his helper were phenomenal. They were on-time and packed and unloaded quickly. I would recommend using this company again in the future. I was blown alway be their service from the surveyor, Office Manager (Robin H), Dispatch (John T/Justin), and driver and helper. Thank you for doing such an outstanding job!

The loaders were on time and professional. The unloaders were likewise punctual and professional. Communications and confirmations of schedule times by the office staff should be improved - I needed to call them several times to confirm dates and times.

I was waited on quickly and associates were friendly and accurate.

They should learn how to treat their employees better. Wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

I challenged the people at Lawrence to move my home and pottery studio including a 2500 lb. gas kiln on my schedule from two locations in Lexington VA to three in Greensboro NC and they came through. Their people are all very professional and careful to please their customers.
