The Local Market, at first glance, appears to have it all. The logo itself suggests a fanfare of selections that come from hometown farms, are ethically sourced, and are free of preservatives/allergens. NOPE. It’s your average quick-mart. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not even mad. They do have a phenomenal view (reference my pic out the car window). Only 3 stars due to mediocre restrooms and limited selection of bottled waters and energy drinks.

Good place for convenience store

Biscuits are extremely inconsistent for the price. I bought one that had obviously been made the previous morning, sat under the heat lamp, put in the fridge and been reheated. The chicken was tough and dry and almost burned on one side and the biscuit was dry. If you dont have the decency to make fresh biscuits drop the price down to $1.50. Very disappointing, as i have had good biscuits here before.

So rude. Our four-year old daughter desperately needed to go to the bathroom. It was the middle of the afternoon and the doors were locked and all the employees were standing in the store having a meeting. They could clearly see she was in distress through the glass door and made no attempt to help the entire time it took to put gas in. (Had we any idea they wouldnt let her in, we wouldnt have gotten gas.) So awful.

Stopped in for some gas, coffee and a restroom break while traveling home from Tennessee. The clerk was very kind and did a good job at maintaining the store. It was so refreshing to find a clean restroom and clean convenience store while on the road!

Plenty of snacks and smiles. Very clean and and an easy stop for some quick souvenirs. Every one is very nice and helpful.

Unless your starved to death i wouldnt stop here to eat. The burgers are 4 dollars with a dollar taste. Was dissapointed in the potato wedges too. Staff was friendly and it did appear to be pretty clean.

Super busy. Attendant was friendly and replaced the empty toilet paper. But the sink in the ladies room was out of order. Because of this, I was turned off from buying anything in the store. I’m sort of a germ-a-phobe and felt oddly disgusted at the fact everyone in/out of the ladies room could not wash their hands. Even though sanitizer was available at the checkout counter... also note, that the rest area on I-40E is closed due to maintaince and this is one of the first stops after the rest area. Lots of people needing to use the facilities and/or get snacks.

1030pm we go in cash in a lottery ticket. Trying to buy another and the male cashier tells me he wont, not cant but wont, sell me the next ticket because,Ive already counted them and I wont count again tonight
