First time around it was average, had to wait 3 weeks for them to get the windshield, then another 2 for an appointment (both couldnt be done simultaneously). The second time it was awful, their windshield replacement cracked all the way to the middle within a month with the smallest chip on it, they insisted it was not due to stress during installation. I tried to schedule another appointment right there with their assistant, she also allegedly requested the part for another replacement, and started a claim with my insurance. All lies, the appointment was never entered in their scheduling system, my insurance never received the claim and the part was never ordered. I was told last week after waiting a month that the part would not arrive for 8 weeks. Take your car somewhere else, not worth it.

I insisted that I get the same tint as I had on my broken windshield and they gave me the run around saying that when they put their new windshield on that it would reflect my other tinted windows and also appear to be tinted and also before they even seen the car, they said that my windshield wasnt really tinted. I unfortunately let them do the service and now everyone can see right into my car thru the windshield only because of no tinting there and my cataracts make it very difficult to see in the bright sun when I drive. I assume they would not give me what I was supposed to get because it was covered by insurance and insurance probably doesnt give them as much as a noninsured would pay and they probably have limited stock of the tinted ones. I would not recommend them.

I hate giving this rating. Safelite has been great in the past. Clear Lake Infiniti had already told me their windshields were on backorder. There is absolutely no way to contact Safelite to speak to a live person. I made an appointment online to have my cracked windshield replaced. I was trying to see if they had it in stock. They said they did on the day I took my car in. Then they call me to say they only have an after-market windshield. My 2021 is only 7 months old. And this was after Progressive Insurance assured me Safelite would only put back on the car EXACTLY what was already on the car. Of course Safelite called AFTER my husband had already left work to pick me up. I took him back to work. So much car jockeying for nothing. This all could have been avoided had I been able to speak directly with Safelite and ask if they had an original manufacturers windshield. My safety features on the car require recalibration and therefore Safelite cant come to me. So now I wait for them to locate the original windshield and I get to do this all over again another day.

This staff is great! They have a great energy around them and are very helpful! Kaden at the desk was very sweet! Enzo, the gentleman that did the replacement, he transfered all of the things on my previous windshield... I even got Honda glass! Thanks again guys, hope I dont have to come back soon

I had two chips, not cracks. The repairs are not of good quality. One of the repairs is a white color and feels rough to the touch and is not even with the windshield, and noticeable indentation. I understand that the windshield will not be perfect and will have some noticeable difference. To cover themselves, they have you sign a waiver that indemnifies them from any responsibility from the moment you wake up on the day you take it in for repair till the end of lifes existence. Anyway, really disappointed in the repair, and no I am not going to put the repair cost ($60) toward an $800 windshield. Also disappointed in Geico for listing Safelite Webster as one of their preferred repair facilities. (1 Star)

Took my 02 Silverado in to have the windshield replaced. The technician found rust holes in the window channel which required repair before a new windshield could be installed. We took my truck to a nearby body shop to have the repairs done and Safelite provided me with a complimentary Uber rude home, which I thought was a nice touch.Would not hesitate to return here again.

We were referred to SAFELITE by our insurance company as their trusted partner to replace a broken windshield on our Toyota. We had to wait for hours for the replacement, only to find out the generic windshield they installed was not compatible with the car safety cameras and they wouldnt calibrate. They promised to order the right part, but after 3 weeks of no responses and intense follow up, their answer to insurance is still we need to see and order the part. A proper Toyota dealership confirmed they could get us the part in 24 hours. Still no response from Safelite.

Car drop off worked great! Had it done by lunch. They were training some new mechanics, so one of the wires wasn’t installed perfectly. I had to go back unfortunately, but one of the experienced mechanics got right on it and knew the intricacy that was missed. Even at the end of the day, they made time to get the sensor taken care of.

Overall it was a good experience. My appointment window was between 8-12 and the tech showed up at 11:46. I would have liked a tighter window or at least a 30 minute call prior to them showing up.The tech was friendly and professional. He took his time and protected the vehicles finish and interior while swapping out my cracked window.Just be advised that they do not use OEM parts. Thats fine. This is Houston and I know with all this construction its only a matter of time before it happens again.

I was in and out in 30 minutes when I went later in the afternoon. Jesus O. did a great job repairing my windshield.

Went for appointments twice and they did not have my window, nor did they call me to let me know there was a problem. Then they promised to re order the window and call me but never did. They have an automated phone system that is impossible to navigate so I could not even check on the status of this window. On the plus side....the company I ended up working charged me $300 less.

Went to Safelite in Webster got there a little early and they went ahead and got me in. Took a little over an hour for the whole service. Will definitely recommend very nice and professional!

Ive used Safelite in the past and they do a good job of replacing windshields.The problem is that this shop does not repair fresh windshield cracks in a timely fashion.Like their TV commerical, we went got a small crack driving home from camping. We had a different experience than their false advertising commerical. We took it by Safelite on the way home and they said to come back the week after.This was extremely frustrating as I tried to repair myself but the crack had already run across the windshield.I dont like their deceptive advertising and wont use them anymore.

The first time I used safelite I scheduled a mobile service at work to be done from 8am-10am. When the guy finally showed up at 4pm he told me around 4:15 that he wont be able to repair and now needs to be replaced at a shop. Now that I have another crack Im trying to get this replaced again but it has been absolutely impossible to get in contact with ANYONE with safelite regarding my car. All I recieve are messages saying well call you in a few business days. Awful awful company.

I took my truck in for a rock chip maybe 1/4” and left with a crack about 8-10” long “thats too big to repair” and a blob of resin and smears all across the drivers side of my windshield.

They have repaired several nasty spider cracked rock chips for us. This is common along the Gulf freeway with all of the construction under way.We scheduled an appointment and were out in no time. The technician was ultra professional and courteous. Repair is hardly visible. Highly recommended!!!

Had our truck broken into in shady Galveston, they replaced our window that same morning.

I have taken 2 vehicles in for windshield repair in the last six months and both times I have dropped them off and then received a call saying they dont have the correct parts or they never actually ordered the windshield to begin with. Im not sure what to say about it but I am certain that I will never use safelite for anything in the future. I would rather pay more and go to the dealership at this point.

Based on my experience here, I wouldnt recommend. Showed up at my appointment time, was told that the windshield they needed for my car was not in stock, so they said theyd call me later in the day to reschedule for another day/time. As soon as I got home, they called me and asked if I could come back with the car right away, as the windshield would be delivered to them that same afternoon. Later that day, I returned to get the car when the job was complete and I was given the wrong set of keys. Unfortunately I didnt notice until I got home. So, 3rd trip to Safelite - all in one day. The next day, while driving on I-45, the rearview mirror fell off. 4th trip to Safelite. They reinstalled the rearview mirror again, but crooked. I dont want to go back, because at this point I have zero confidence in their accuracy or work quality. So, 4 trips there in two days, $25.00 spent in Uber charges getting back and forth to my house after dropping off the car, a harrowing drive on the freeway with no rearview mirror and now a crooked rearview mirror. Not impressed.

Needed to go through my Insurer (Geico). Between Geico and Safelite is was an Excellent experience. The Safelite was located on NASA Rd 1 near Hwy 3.

Glass left everywhere in my truck after having to set an appointment to bring my truck in because they said they couldnt do it when they came out to my house to do it. Gap in trim around window and damaged trim and body. Overpriced on top of that. Will never go there again.

I had a really great experience here when I needed my windshield replaced. I was able to get an appointment easily and sit and wait in the waiting area for a little while until it was done. The people who work here are very knowledgeable and got it done quickly and it looked beautiful afterwards. I was very pleased with their work.

Save your money and go somewhere else! If you want poor quality work done to your car, this is the place for you! The tech did a horrible job. I got a windshield replaced and the wiper blade arms were left loose. When I turned on the wipers, they were hitting the side of my car. When I called to complain the manager dismissed it.I simply asked “How would you feel if someone worked on your brand new car and did a half a** job?”His response “I wouldn’t mind, id let them just re fix it.”I will never return. Thank you for reassuring me that I should have taken my car to the dealership for the replacement.

Went in for a repair had an appointment still waited an hour before they even looked at it. After the repair was made I was told State Farm didn’t cover glass repairs anymore. Guy at the counter said it was normally 75$ but if I paid cash he would take 60$. Checked with State Farm and they still cover glass repairs. He just pocketed the cash. I’m sure he does it all the time. Will never go there again.

I went in asked how much to repair my windshield if it could be, if not how much to replace. The associate didnt bother getting up to look at my windshield. I was just given a quote for $360 to replace. Didnt even ask about insurance. No other information, like if it was lifetime warranty. Safelite is supposed to be one the best, I was pretty disappointed with my service.

Dropped off my car after waiting a week for my appointment, an hour later they called saying, my windshield hasnt arrived, they didnt even care i came from 45 minutes away, didnt even apologize, asked to come back in 2 days, like I dont have anything else to do in my life.... go somewhere else to someone who cares

I scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance and ordered a special molding/windshield needed for my bmw 328i. Then when they arrived for my first appointment the technician had none of the parts needed for my replacement. Then I had to reschedule to a very inconvenient time on July 11th, after communicating that I would be traveling 9 hours on July 12th. Safelite called me that morning and stated that they would not be able to make it that entire day to replace my windshield. I spoke with customer service who offered no solution and lacked any professionalism, they victimized themself and stated that they already had other upset customers. (it is not my fault your company sucks) Now I will have to travel with a broken windshield as a safety hazard after planning weeks in advance to get it fixed.

They came and did a really good job on replacing our windshield except for one thing. The guy forgot to tighten down the windshield wiper on the drivers side. And it rained. My husband had to drive home about 15 miles by sitting in the middle of the seat so he could see out the passenger side of the windshield. This could have been a fatal accident since he drives down the highways.

The technician did absolutely terrible job fixing the crack, I can still see the gaps in the crack also he didn’t clean his work area afterwards.With that being said, since he didn’t tell me before hand that he wouldn’t be able to fix it completely, matter of fact he said that he will be able to fix it and make the crack go away. This place has twice scheduled appointments to come to my house for an auto glass fix and screwed it up both times. The first time they brought the wrong glass and had to reschedule. The most recent time on a different vehicle, I took off work and waited hours for their arrival window starting at noon. They called me at 12:05, after the freaking appointment window had begun, and told me they wanted to reschedule. When I told then I was off work and was not willing to reschedule, they basically said that was my problem, not theirs. I told then Id consider going with them again if they covered part of my insurance deductible, they basically told me to get lost.They were rude, not helpful, and cost me a whole day of work. I suggest going with their local competition, City Glass. They come when they say they will and do a quality job. Safelite may he fine if you take your car to them, but dont count on it when the Webster location of Safelite says they will come to you.

I had my windshield fixed and the service person was great. Now about 2 months later, the crack has spread and the warranty they offer is really just your money back (to the insurance). I now have a huge crack in my windshield and I wish I would have taken it somewhere else. Very dissatisfied!

Scheduled online. All was easy. Technicians arrived on time with notification by text and technician called me when in route. The service was completed in my driveway. Very professional job. Very pleased with the installation and quality of the window. Very high quality window seal. Technician was able to save my registration sticker and my toll road ez-tag which was a great save of time, money, and effort. Everything was cleaned inside and outside of the vehicle. I was given verbal and written info about the installation. I cant say enough good things about this service.

I would give this store ten stars all the way from customer service to the tech who gave me my keys when the job was done. I highly recommend this store to everyone. I came in ordered My OEM windshield for my 2017 GMC SIERRA SLT crew cab and got my appointment. When I returned two days later they got after it immediately and finished the job 30 mins faster than what was scheduled. Everyone in that store was 100% and I really sensed that all the employees love their job there. They did a fantastic job and I will definitely recommend this store to anyone needing windshield repairs or replacement.

Took my car in to repair one chip and they sealed that, another chip, and a large crack at no extra cost! I immediately noticed how nice my windshield looked - the chips and crack look smaller and much less noticeable. I called my insurance company first (State Farm), and even though they would not waive my deductible for glass repair, they did give me a great discount - over 1/2 off! Service was good and got in same day for an appointment.

They were awesome!! I needed my back window to go up because it got stuck down and they took my car right in a pulled it up for me. They also told me what the problem is with it..... all this was FREE!!!! (although I did leave a tip) I appreciate their help.
