Rented unit for ease of after hours access. Just tried to access my unit at 6:45pm and was locked out. The website states 24 hour access. Not happening. I had a truck rented and now will have to extend the rental. Not happy at all. People are not helpful or friendly.

Very fast in & out service. Kathy was fast in making contract papers. And at the return gate, the lady was super fast, she didn’t let her customers wait for more then 3mins. That’s very cool. Also they provide very nice cleaned truck. We’ll definitely think of that store when renting u-haul!!

My wife and I love the wine storage they offer! Only $14.95 a month and they keep all of our expensive bottles at the perfect temperature!

Theyre not really the friendliest but they will help you find the best price.

Only issue I had was getting the wrong assigned truck. Management was great at handling the issue.

The price nearly tripled. They give the rates but fail to tell you the they upfront charge you on mileage based on YOUR GUESTIMATE!! Interesting racket.

I had two consecutive bad experiences with U-Haul. First in August I had a reservation, and when I went to pick the truck up, they did not have a truck for me. Fortunately, there was another location nearby that had a truck, so it was a short drive.Today I had a terrible experience with U-Haul. I again made a reservation well in advance for a 26-ft truck. When I got to the store at 7:30 am they did not have a truck for me. After 15 minutes of them typing with some central service (not a call - by typing) they located a 20-ft truck at a location 20 minutes away. Since I was dropped off, I had to get an Uber to the other locations. When I got there around 8:15, the location was closed, and only opens at 10 am. Why they did not mentioned that at the first store? So I am sitting here outside the second Uhaul store, waiting another one hour and a half for it to open, while paying $70/hour since 8 am for the movers to wait for me. God knows if I am moving today or not.

We stopped by for a few moving blankets, and I still cant get over how sweet everyone was. Id go out of my way to shop at this location!

I booked a truck in June, got re-directed to a Uhaul 5 miles away instead of this one that I could have walked to because this one did not have the truck I reserved weeks in advance. The other location I was sent to was very helpful but would not allow me to pick up purchased items of shrink wrap and bed covers due to it is privately owned. I called Uhaul customer service and they gave me another number to call that is only open until 4 pm M-F, when most people are working. I chatted with a rep for this location online and was abruptly advised the online team would credit my materials, was told to have a good day and she disconnected me. After a month and a half, I have yet to see the refund. Also the additional miles that I used to drive back from the store 5 miles away were included in the mileage that was calculated, after I had to go out of my way. When I told the guys at the other location, they laughed and said the hwy 3 location never has anything but small trucks.Very poor service.

Signed up for a truck online, was quoted a price. Went to the store that weekend to pick up the truck, and was charged a higher price than quoted online. When we dropped the truck back off they calculated the actual cost and refunded me the money. Really wish they had the price right the first time, BUT it did get worked out.The guys themselves were super friendly and helpful and the overall experience was quick and easy.

Ive rented from them quite a bit. I usually dont write reviews but the ones posted seem pretty harsh, especially from 2 people who werent even customers. Ive rented several trucks and trailers over the years and have never had a single issue. I pick up the truck or trailer, drop it off, they send me an email. Never a surprise. Always courteous and efficient.

A very misleading location. Do not trust Kathy the so called “supervisor”. Does not know how to build a customer service relationship with customers. Spoke with the VP Jerry Lunn and he did not care to assist me with the incident nor did he care to show any type of empathy i highly recommend no one rent a uhaul from this location they will rip you off !!!

THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE RENTING HERE! WOULD SHE CARE IF IT WAS YOUR STUFF???Well today my friend has a storage in here and it was broken in too and all his shoes and belongings were except clothes was took. I believe it was an inside job the manager kathy was not nice about his stuff being took. She never apologized for it. She was asked to review the camera and got an attitude and said she could only review them. Took about hour and a half before she had someone there that could break the lock that the thieves put on it. Like the whole piece was changed. Crazy she is a sorry rude manager. He has had his unit less that 2 weeks and he was never told he could put insurance on his unit either. She did not ever call the police hmmm really makes you wonder what she is hiding... I would give ZERO stars if it would let me write a review without you giving any stars.

Horrible service. We booked a uhaul 3 weeks ago for our move today just so we wouldn’t run into any problems. Get a call yesterday saying the location won’t have our truck and we have to go to another location 13 miles away for the size we need. Very unprofessional, they should have dealt with it on their own and got our booked truck to the location we picked for our pick up!!!

Its clean and the associates are knowledgeable of what services and products they are offering. They have honest recommendations. Definitely recommend to a friend or family member. The only complaint is one associates comments. My husband wet to the bathroom and she started cussing as she went by saying all the guys come here to poop. Yes its funny, we all know poop stinks no matter who it comes from but she could have kept the comment to herself. Nobody wants to know hear from a stranger how they stink unless you get a kick out of it!

I am a customer since 2014. Often rented trucks there. I have experienced better managers and crews in their place. Very recently rented truck, my card was charged ahead including deposit - as business as usual. I noticed lineup and customer tension at time of rental. I remember times when crew cared to thank customer for their patience while waiting in line. Not happening now and the day was only starting. I returned equipment in same great condition and dropped keys in the overnight box. My car was locked inside because no parking outside, another tension to resolve, but I firmly did. Next day I have received email with receipt and a MCO order to issue check to be mailed to me?! What?! I contacted them and I only had the same grumpiness plus the vagueness of whenever I would received my refund? I came personally back to the store and the manager himself was intransigent and lacking of any skills to provide a great experience with a customer plus an irritated-offended unlashing attitude while I was firm speaking normal tones - kind you dont need customers and especially not the ones who claim their rights, right?! Guess what? It was an avoidable situation all the way back if you knew how to provide great services!!!!!!!!!! I have been in sales business for much longer.I disputed their charges to the amount of my refund by my bank. My bank has my back and they know customer services!There wont be a next time for this store. I rather pay more and have honest customer services.

Out of boxes, asked if they could sell the display for the art box. Manager Jason said no, said they get a truck tomorrow but I move tomorrow. I counted on them being stocked. I pointed out that if he gets a truck tomorrow and they cant sell with it since they are out, he could just replace it tomorrow, he still said no... giving no reason. Just seemed apathetic at best. Oh well ill buy my boxes and moving supplies elsewhere. I was very polite and Jason was still a jerk.

Once you get the reservation set, these folks are great to work with. However, the U Haul website is a JOKE! I made a reservation and I get all these texts of different locations for pickup.Then I call U Haul to get the situation corrected and I am transfered to an extension that has left for the day...I sure hope I have an auto transport tomorrow

Extremly upset and dissapointed of the employees unprofessionalisam and lies!Yesterday i called and the lady was telling me to come to pick up my u box but once i came she sais that the person is trying to get my u box ready but in front he has 3 more so its gonna take a little while. There was a gentlement waiting in front of me and he said one of the boxes is his thats why he is waiting too.I came back few time and kept calling but no luck! Once was getting dark i knew i wont pick up my box But she sais that she will call me once the u box is ready for pick up and she actually never did!Today we kept calling again and we had luck to make official confirmation to pick it up but after half an hour a gentlmenet called saying that yesterday he was present when i was coming and the lady” sais that they have no employees to get the job done”!!!I cant believe of the lies. Im so upset for paying over a 1090$ and having so much lies on the way just to put the u box on the van and take what is mine🤕The only great one was the gentlment we spoke last week Thomas but this weekend he wasnt there to talk to him

This has got to be THE WORST uhaul store we have ever encountered. Its not even the employees. They are all nice and courteous. Its the General Manager of this location, Mr. Thomas Smith. My husband rented a uhaul truck in early April for two days. While he was at our storage unit, his aqaintance from high school, who has a storage unit down the row from us asked if he could quickly use the truck to drop off these very large plants down the street. My husband didnt think anything of it as this guy is a landscaper. Guess what...this guy straight up never came back with the truck. My husband called me to pick him up. We thought he may have gotten into a wreck or something at first. We drove around looking for him and the truck. Once we realized the truck was stolen a day later. We called and spoke to a uhaul representative. The gave us Mr. Smiths contact information. He then told us that the guy and his girlfriend were on the no rent list and that he had stolen from his location before. We thought Mr. Smith would help us out with the situation since we were very upfront about it. He told us to call the police to press charges. We called HPD and Webster PD neither cop station would claim this store as it sits on the line of both counties. We called Mr. Smith and he said he would take care of everything. That was a big fat LIE! He charged my husbands account daily until they found the truck 50 miles away as a respo not grand theft Auto. This location charged my husbands account over $2500. We went personally to the location and spoke to an employee there and he said they could not do anything about the charges. Then he gave my husband a final bill of $4000. After we had already spent close to 3k. We even found the guy who stole the uhaul and doing landscaping and guess what he had in his possession? Another Uhaul truck!!! We wrote the license plate number of the truck and called Mr. Smith to tell him what we discovered and said it wasnt his problem. That legal would deal with this it. He didnt even care. Then on Memorial Day, Uhaul charged my husbands account for $1,700.! Unbelievable. We called Mr. Smith again for the final time on Monday to tell him that Uhaul had hit our account again and once again he said it was out of his control and he said once Uhaul gets it, its out of his control. Then proceeded to treat us like criminals. We are disgusted by this so called General Managers actions and complete LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you want to be treated poorly and get your bank account in real turmoil, just go to this location and hope nothing happens to whatever you rented. This person should NOT even be employed or affiliated with Uhaul. In my opinion, Mr. Smith is the worst manager, let alone a GENERAL manager, who is held to a higher standard, is the worst manager I have ever done business with. Save the headache and go down to the Nasa Rd one store.

The guy that rang me up was nice and friendly I really appreciate his help.But the girl that was working there that showed us the storages was being very rude and barley wanted to open the storage to show us how big they were.She was making rude comments and faces towards us. Due to me asking about the free month that uhaul usually has which I really dont see a problem if thats what the company promotes. I think she should not work with Customer service if she has problems with people asking questions.And to top it off she was being so rude that she didn`t even remove the green lock like she was supposed to had to move in the following day. What a hassle.

Severly underwhelming experience, to start off apparently Mr. Robert Barras has a problem with women according to the way he treated my wife. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he works for a woman as well, not my problem. He acted right the minute I showed up. This is the first place that did not accept a concealed handgun license as a valid form of ID. It is government issued and also has the TX DL on it. From what I seen on the reviews this location is known for having bad customer service and punks working for them. I contacted the corporate office, I doubt the gutless morons who work there will have the nerve to contact me, keep you posted....

If only 0 stars was an option... Reservation was made online for a car-hauler, which met all the specs for our vehicles by the main Uhauls account. When we showed up for the trailer, the very rude, very unprofessional staff/mngr refused to rent the trailer due to some undisclosed specification problem. So we left, called the 800 Go Uhaul number and tried again, and a nice lady found that all specs were fine for our reservation, so she tried calling this store to no avail. We drove back there, and offered to hand my phone over to the mngr, he first refused to talk to the nice uhaul lady.. Then he yelled at me, yelled at her not to undermine his authority since she was just a call center girl. He refused to rent it despite uhaul advising him to do so. My husband is a professional driver and hauls 20,000 lb hazmat loads with this same truck. He kept saying we couldnt pull that trailer with our f350 Super Duty. It was such an unprofessional experience and it has been escalated to the regional manager. We did rent the same exact trailer from a nicer location in League City with no trouble after wasting 2 hours on this jerk.

This was the worst service I have ever received. The staff were seemingly discriminatory toward me and my wife. I was told I can keep the truck for 24hrs when I arrived they had doubled booked my truck. Left me SOL.not to mention the guy offered me a replacement truck that didnt even have a ramp. When I returned the truck I was insulted by staff . Me and my wife were charged for damages that were already wrong with the unit. Please unless its your last resort dont use this service! They care nothing for customer service or cultural awareness. Thanks for nothing !
