Staff always friendly, small corner store feel, prices vary but if not picky and open to options, sale priced items are great. I like it because its a quick place to get a few items. They do also sell beer and wine.

The cleanest and most organized store anywhere. They have such a great selection of vegetables, dry goods, meats, and deli.

I shop there because of certain things we eat I can only get there. Shop there approximately once a week. Never had a problem with finding what I need because its always in stock. Ill be back.

Good medium sized market for the area. It can get crowded at times in the store and at checkout. The products are pretty good. I have always been pretty happy with this location. Other locations in the past were not all that great.

Great food, great prices, great workers and very clean! We do the majority our grocery shopping here! Absolutely love the produce and their prices. I will be very sad when we move and can no longer shop consistently here.

Store is very dirty. And looked small and cluttered. It was my 1st time in that store, and it was a quick grab and go trip. So, I didnt spend much time there.

Meat section was nearly empty . Went to Aldi and found a full cooler

The store was clean. Staff was friendly. Its a grocery store for quick pick up items. They do have produce and meat. Bring your own grocery bags or they have plastic bags they sale for $.03 - $.05 per bag. This is the only place I can find Summerset tea.

Vert helpful and attentive workers

Service is pretty lackluster. I do understand the whole bring your bag with you, and I appreciate that it probably helps their prices stay low. My only complaint is that I only see cheerfulness about 20% of the time that I go there. Just seems like something is wrong, as if management doesnt thank the team enough or maybe its a motivation thing? I dunno... I only go here when I am too lazy to drive to Pick n Save. Might just make the longer trip from now on.

I like that u can buy meats in bigger quantities and then I can get a few meals instead of one....

They are closing 30 to 20 minutes before 10pm when they Is supposed to close at 10pm

Like this store. Only complaint is the cashiers I use to see were friendlier then current ones. Sometimes they dont even say hi or acknowledge you. Just ring stuff up and tell you the total. No hi, have a good day, did you find everything, etc.

I went to pick up supplies to pack bags to hand to people who need food and help

Went to Save a lot for the as advertised .69 per pound turkeys. I wanted 10 turkeys to donate to the church for Thanksgiving baskets for the less fortunate in the community. I had called the day before to confirm that I could buy as many turkeys as I wanted for .69 per pound, and was assured I could. The next morning (today) I went there before work, at 8:00 AM when they opened. I went in and got 10 turkeys, brought them to the check out (the cashier was super helpful and nice) she rang up the 9th turkey, went to ring up the 10th, and noticed that the discount (from 1.19 per pound down to .69 per pound) wasn’t happening. Just then the meat department guy came up and she asked him what the problem wasn’t which point he told her there is a 25.00 purchase requirement for each turkey. She did not know that because when she went to look for me the day before when I called, that requirement was NOT posted. This was very upsetting because they were for needy folks in the community and when I asked them to call the manager and they did, he said no.Greedy and selfish is how I thought the manager was behaving. No good will towards anyone but the almighty dollar. Screw you save a lot is what I say. I left the store in tears, because they would not help me help others. It’s appalling really.

I want to say thank you soooo much to the cashier Edin that took great care of my family& I the othe day. She went out of her way to pay it forward &also a genuine kind act from the bottom of her heart... such a sweetheart, &because of her generosity and caring heart were definitely going to come to this location every time🙂😉🥰👍, THANK YOU Edin youre an amazing hard working woman we ADORE YOU😝

Clean store and nice customer service at the register!

Great prices on everyday needs. The only problem I found was a black man outside talking on his cell phone with a bluetooth in his ear begging for money. I found that extremely irritating.

Prices are low and they have mostly all items that you need as far as food that is.

Good place for a quick stop. Much savings on several of their off brand names compared to the name brand of the same items. Varieties are limited. Just like Aldis, just watch what you buy and you will be ok.

They need more of a variety of items on their shelves to choose from and the bakery items are overpriced but I love the management here....edin or idk how to say her name is the absolute best manager around

Got off work an hour before it closed because I’ve been curious about this place. Couldn’t go in and I even check the hour sign ON THE DOOR to make sure I wasn’t reading it wrong. Wasted a trip coming here for no reason.

Its like ALDI without the obvious ALDI style. You forget to have your own bags like I did. This one, was OK. Not terribly clean or modern. Selections limited and prices were slightly lower than main chains. I prefer ALDI over them, but prefer Meijer over both.

Lower prices. Smaller store so no very large crowds

As usual, the store is above average in terms of cleanliness and products offered. Unfortunately, the checkout process is where they struggle, which is similar to every other time Ive been there. Its not that the cashier is rude, or really could be considered unfriendly, it is just understaffed. They ever only have one register open at any given time, which causes a backup in the checkout area.

Everything is fairly priced. Not as much brand diversity, but dont have to shop based on what the sale items are that week.

I hadnt shopped here in a few months, I dont know why I stopped. Great prices, well stocked, and a good selection of foods. I would have paid over $100 at Pick n Save for what I got at Save a Lot for $79, Im definitely back as a full time customer.

The only bad thing was that I bought Stix and they had no flavor on them, but the overall experience was 👌

Meat selection and prices are comparable to other stores. They have a lot of processed meats. Luncheon, hams, Hotdogs, fish, and more.Produce selection is VERY limited and the prices are higher than average. Its a condensed store. With about 30% less stock than an ALDIS store.They do carry quite a bit of name brand. Extensive selection of frozen foods. About 50% more frozen foods than ALDIS. Very nice selection of dairy.It is difficult to find someone to check you out. Its hard to find any store employee. I have talked to two different men that were in management positions. They honestly did not have interest in my concerns. Shameful. Ive come in and found great deals on markdowns. Examples : cat litter 1.50. Hamburger 1.50 a pound. Eggs for fifty cents and more.If you dont mind the above things and are looking for a bargain, stop in. If you are in a rush for specific items, go elsewhere. Limited selection and no staff.

Great variety of items at competative prices. There are some generic items but I have found many other things that are so much cheaper than the same stuff at regular grocery stores. I am able to buy a ton of stuff at low prices because you have to look at expiration dates and sometimes something non-perishable items go in a a week. And I took away the star because they dont have bags...only ones to purchase which is tacky II have to bring in my own bags and pack everything up🤔. Guess keeps the prices down?

Save A Lot is a pretty good store it does have a wide selection of grocery items and fresh fruit and vegetables. Dairy products are also available with frozen food also oh I almost forgot they do have fresh meats.

I have to say that this sav a lot location is one of south Milwaukees better grocery stores. The staff are truly helpful, the store is always clean, and most important to me is that the prices are low.

They have great prices on bag cereal. The frozen meal section is hit or miss. I suggest only buying one item until you know if it tastes like anything. Sometimes the milk has clearance pricing.

Reasonable price

Incident tonight to where they said because they didn’t have enough bins that they were placing items that were in a 25 cent bin ( supposedly was a lot more expensive ) and the employee was RIDICULOUSLY RUDE asking why the customer was complaining about a price. REALLY? She then continues to go back and forth with the customer and I had to jump in because of her poor customer service. They definitely need to train their staff appropriately. I couldn’t believe how the employee was trying to snap on the customer about this. SO RUDE

I liked the store it was clean and cheerful. I had issues with two products. I purchased a cream cake and the store has there own brand of ice cream cones. The icecream cone part was soggy and seems like either thawed out and refrozen or old. The cinnamon cake was dated 11-10 and was actually moldy on the bottom it was gross. Hopefully other customers have better results

When you dont want to waste time in the bigger stores go to Save a Lot for Great Prices and a very good selection . They carry everything that you really need in Groceries.

Its the 20th of March right now and I just got back from this store just to find out the iced coffee that I was sold was two days past the use by date on the container. Nobody should have to go to the store and be expected to look at the experation date when its the stores job to rotate their stock. When I go to the store, I expect everything to be in good quality.

A good choice for grocery shopping. Prices are higher then Aldis, but, cheaper than Pick n Save, Meijer and Woodmans.

Good place to go if you want cheap prices on quick pickup groceries. Not so good of a place to go if you want quality food or happy employees.

If you arent loyal to a brand name this will work well for you. No health and beauty aisle but with a CVS right next door it doesnt matter. Prices are competitive with store like Aldi and bring your own bags.

I love this place. Its a neat store with a lot of options and a lot of savings. You can find bordens milk and butter here! Also pre shredded velveeta cheese. The customer service is definitely on point!

Dont care for the store too much needs to be updated but their prices are very good they are located on 76th and Oklahoma take your own bags with you for packing but you dont have to pay a quarter for the shopping cart LOL its not Aldis. But the prices are pretty good last week I paid $0.39 for each of avocado I bought which was only two I couldnt believe they were that cheap because Ill Ray charges like a dollar twenty for one so chaperone read the papers youll see the specials but the store needs very bad updating there they look so old-fashioned its almost like walking into the salvation army versus Walmart.
