The Man on duty laughed when I told him and he agreed that it was impossible to get through... I asked how much and when can they do it... He said drop it off and it could be done tomorrow... Got a call today at 10am it was done... Just picked it up... Looks incredible seal is perfect...Not to mention one of the men that worked there came out and gave me advice on what to do about the rest of the car... You Couldnt of done it any better EVER... Dan is the man! I came in to get my windshield fixed because I got peppered by some rocks and he let me know everything was just superficial and not to worry. I was in and out in 5 minutes flat. Professional and knowledgeable, what more can you ask for?

Had a new windshield installed. Work was sloppy chipped the paint on both sides of my hood. All the way down to the mental. Tried to call no answer. Filled out the survey listing my complaint. Also put a request on the survey for a call. No response at all. For the price you would think the quality would be much higher. Very disappointed with their service.

I had a windshield replaced in March and in scheduling the appointment put in the notes that my windshield has electric-wires built into it internally for defrosting which I wanted in the replacement - the field tech showed up with a windshield that did not have the same specs. Unfortunately a rock cracked my windshield again recently and in going through the same process I made notes in my scheduled appointment about the wire, but once more was greeted this morning by a field tech who did not have the correct glass and was told it wouldnt be available until 10 days from now. What is the point of having a notes section on your scheduling if no one reads it? I understand the glass may not be as readily available as standard glass and would have understood needing longer to get the original appointment booked, but wasting my time twice now is utterly unacceptable.

Safelite did a great job. That they text and call ahead, give you updates, made me very comfortable. Vicheth, the technician, was great, he left my driveway clean, he explained things just right. Definitely using them again, I just hope I dont need to.

Terrible. The first windshield I got replace the calibration was fuzzy. The next time I went I was 10 minutes past the arrival time and they refused to take my vehicle … it was 9am!!? I had wait 2 weeks to get the appointment and got a sitter early to make it all happen before work!

Windshield chip repair... Took care at my apt time and for it done in 40 min... Very nice job... Hardly can tell where it was... Minimum paperwork with insurance and very happy....

The cost of the windshield repair was covered by my insurance (after my deductible: $100). The whole process was smooth. I asked my insurance agent to file the claim. Received email with the information of the technician. The technician came in on time with a 30-minute advance notice. Completed the job in less than one hour. Changing a Camry windshield with a pair of wipers total cost was $279.

Was given an 8am-12pm window (4hours), was contacted at 11:50am to say he would be 1.5 hrs late because The office does this all the time and I dont know why said the tech. He then showed up 30 minutes late to the 1.5hr late time so I told him no thank you I will find a company with more care of their customers time. If thats acceptable to you then by all means use the BIG BUSINESS that cares 0 about your time as the customer.

They have always done an excellent job for me. And the upcharge for them to come to you is very reasonable.

Tech never showed up to repair. I even called in and asked for an ETA and he still never showed up.

Warning...NEVER use this company!!! They never showed up when promised. You will never get anyone in customer service and if you do, they will claim they never spoke to you. When they finally came out, they brought the wrong glass. The issue is still unresolved. Sketchy company tbe bills the insurance and doesnt deliver!

I drove out to Safelite to get my windshield replaced and my cameras recalibrated. When I arrived, it turned out my replacement windshield was broken. I dont like leaving the house during the pandemic, so going out and sitting in a public waiting room while someone else operated my vehicle was already a problem for me. The employees were also not wearing face coverings that day, and/or removed their masks to talk to me when I approached. The employees had not checked on my windshield when it arrived, despite me calling ahead to make sure everything was good. So after disinfecting my car, I had to turn around and go back home to wait for another windshield to arrive. The following week I returned and got it replaced without issue. The employees were all wearing masks that day, at least the people I saw. I was glad to finally get it replaced, but very frustrated that I had to go back twice.

Great service! A rock hit my windshield while I was over an hour from home on I-95. I immediately thought of the Safelite ads Ive heard and my daughter looked them up. They reassured us that the windshield would not cave in on us (phew!) and connected us to our insurance company so we could make a claim. The mobile repairman who arrived in my driveway was courteous (calling to let me know when hed arrive) and professional. They made the process much easier than I would have expected!

I have had appointment from 8:00 AM to 12:00PM The also text me at 11:57 AM they will be at 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM. They called me on my cell 11:41 AM and went directly to voice. I have called the technician at 12:01 and total 10 minutes left and went to a different customer. They were running late and skipped me to get back to schedule.

Friendly, finished the work in the time frame they said they would. Gave our kids coloring books to keep them occupied. Overall good experience.

Not sure if this is the location that helped me but if it is fantastic service. I made a claim with my insurance provider and set an appointment for this morning. I had them note to call upon arrival because my roommates baby was asleep. I received a call around 8pm this morning that Charles was on his way and that he was aware to call upon arrival and he would not knock which he didn’t(most places still knock) Charles called and asked me to step outside to go over the damaged areas and that he would text me when he was finished. Not even 30 mins later I received a text that he was done. Windshield is fixed sucks you can still see the cracks but i am happy that it will not spread with the cold winter coming! Thanks again Charles for your professionalism and quality work.

They couldnt help me with my problem. I called another glass place and they told me how to get the scratches out of my windshield. Safelite wanted to sell me a new windshield.

First window that was installed was defective which caused a problem with the window regulator assembly. I was told they would cover that under warranty since the window was defective and caused another issue. They said they would order the part after they put in the second window. Over two weeks later no calls. Called them to get status. They never ordered the part or intended to fix the regulator. Called customer support to find this out only after they told me it was covered under warranty.Told customer support I wanted a refund or they need to come and fix the window properly. They said they would call me the next day with a solution. I heard nothing after that call. I decided not to even deal with them anymore, waste of my time. I fixed it myself and saved myself the time and headache. My company, which is a big one, uses these guys as a vendor. We have a lot of fleet vehicles, but I will suggest we do not use Safelite as a vendor or use the other approved vendors for any glass repair.

They did a great job and did it quickly and cheaply.

My tech (Raymond) came out as scheduled. After totally setting up, he noticed a smudge on my windshield. He called it to my attention, gave his professional opinion that it would most likely be fine but that it was totally up to me. I decided to go with another windshield, which had to be sent from the warehouse. He prioritized my request, and came back only a few hours later. This time, the glass had an actual scratch, which he put back in the truck. This level of customer service is so so high. He could have easily installed either of those without my knowledge or input, but wanted to make sure my experience with safelight was excellent. He loves his job, and it shows. I contacted Safelite a few weeks ago after a rock hit my windshield while driving on the turnpike. I was able to schedule a time for the technician to come to my driveway to make the repair. Immediately after the repair, only a small spot remained in the glass where the direct impact had occurred. I was assured the windshield would pass state inspection and I was happy! The only thing keeping me from assigning 5 stars is the fact that currently, a few splinters have appeared from the initial impact point.

I was concerned that my new car windshield developed a large crack from getting hit by a rock. However the team did very good job and was quickly done. The whole transaction was very low stress and with no hassles.

On 3/20/19 I visited this location to address a noise issue I believed was attributable to the windshield replacement I had over a year ago. The noise that was generated once I went over 40 mph was terrible and I had no doubt the seal between the windshield and the car body was compromised. They reinstalled the windshield and a road test showed no improvement. 99 out of 100 shops would have shown their customer the door with a short explanation that their product was not causing the noise. This store’s staff pushed on and found that noise was actually being generated by a loose piece of equipment within the car’s undercarriage that was vibrating during high mph....They re-secured the offending equipment and the noise was completely eliminated. No charge. Great experience here.

Had to fix a crack in my windshield, I walked in about 5 minutes before they closed and they stayed open a little bit late to fix my window. Not many shops will do that for you these days. They were able to repair the crack rather than replace the whole windshield. I think one of the managers was was the one who helped me out and I appreciate it!

Have used them in the past. Called twice and was on hold 35 mins then 30 mins. I went to their website but could not get a quote/make an appt on their website.

We were not happy at all.The price on the phone was not inclusive so the end job wasmore expensive.  It was made clear that this was an oldercar but that we had the glass and gasket.  There was oneclip broken for the molding, however the installer brokethree more when he forced the gasket out over the window andclaimed that thew were bad before.  He had to manually pullthe window into place (no armature was used) and I believewhen he pulled and then pounded on the window at that edgehe broke the clips. The window is not seated properly and heforce the top multiple times that the gasket is bowed on theinside and it downt fit properly on the bottom, waterwill get in.  If they didnt know what they were doingthey never should have taken the job.  They were told thatwe had the glass and the gasket and just needed itinstalled.  Quite expensive considering no material wasrequired and they didnt do the job correctly.  Now thecar needs additional work to fix what they broke, and morelabor to pull out the window and get it installedcorrectly.  Well never use them again.

I take a lot of pride in my vehicle, and was nervous about using Safelites repair service to repair a chip in my windshield, as opposed to replacing the glass. Since a replacement windshield would cost hundreds of dollars, I opted to give Safelite a try, since it was only $50 with my insurance. They did a wonderful job, and you cant even see where the chip was! Staff was friendly, and the work was completed quickly.

Most frustrating process ever.I had a small chip in my windshield. The technician came to my house to fix it and instead he caused the chip to crack halfway across the windshield. I understand that is a possibility but I’ve had many chips fixed and this has never happened. So who knows, was it bad luck or was it done incorrectly? A service which was free now turned into a replacement windshield which is close to 500.00.Anyways.... I had an apointment between 12-5, I get a call from them saying that their warehouse doesn’t have a windshield in stock, but the problem is it was 12:30 the day of the repair. What type of management is this? I asked the technician when he was at my house if they had one and he was sure they did. Also he called the office and the manager said they had them in stock. Poor management, lack of communication with the customers which leads to poor customer service.If you have the ability of shopping around do it. This company will not receive my business again.

Do not use Safelite. My dealer garage found the rain sensor was incorrectly installed. Dan, the assistant manager at Safelite West Chester Pennsylvania, said that the windshield was under warranty which states work must be performed by Safelite so reimbursement for the corrective labor was not possible. What was I supposed to do, bring the windshield back to the company that installed it incorrectly in the first place?Edit: I do fail to see how the rain sensor is under warranty as it is not glass. Also, in a response to the initial google review, the owner called their mistake and my payment to fix it and their refusal to reimburse an inconvenience. Even if you have to pay more, just go somewhere else. Go somewhere that does decent work or at least works with you when they make a mistake.

Please please go anywhere else. Tiny 150.00 rock chip turned into a 2500 windshield replacement-they did more damage then a truck full of rocks could do and refused to fix the damage they created. Unprofessional and worst workmanship I’ve ever seen-if I could them a negative star I would. Please go elsewhere.

During an annoying moment(windshield crack), I had amazing customer service. They helped me call my insurance company and fixed my windshield in 20 minutes. Would come back here again if I had the same issues.

I have had the worst experience ever with them and am at my whits end. I got a crack, which quickly spread a crossed the full length of my windshield and needed the whole thing replaced, so I filed a claim through my insurance and they set me up with the company. I made an appointment to have them come out to me to replace it and they didn’t show. We called and they then told me that whoever I talked to didn’t actually set up the appointment and that I needed to actually take my car into the shop, which is a 45 minute drive away by the way. So I begrudgingly did that. They replaced the windshield but then I could hear air whistling through, which persisted and I was told I needed to go back in, except this time I needed to go to a different location, which was even further away, because the original location had no availabilities to fit me in. When I went back in they told me that they didn’t hear anything when they took the car out for a test drive. They assured me that there was no weak spots anywhere and that it could be the moulding around the windshield. The whistling continued and now I just took my car wash and water just leaked through. I’m so frustrated, and frankly pissed off, because I now most likely have interior water damage in a car that is less than 1 year old.

I had 3 small dings on my windshield and had Safelite come out and fix them. I had never gone through this process before, so as a new customer I asked questions. He didnt inform me of what he was doing, but rather said he didnt anticipate any issues and should be done soon. After working in my office for 10 minutes the technician called me an informed me that he applied to much pressure and made a 12 inch crack in my front windshield. I asked for his information as well as his shop information to call and complain which he didnt have. His response was oh Im sorry and gave me a cheap air freshener for my car and then proceeded to leave. I have called Corporate and the shop, but havent gotten very far. My insurance agent said that these are known issue with Safelite. Please take my word and stay away!!

Had my windshield replaced by safelite 4 weeks ago. The service man missed his first appointment. one week later he showed up 3 hours late for the same make up appointment. He rushed and poorly replaced the windshield and sent me on my way in a hurry. I specifically asked if the windshield needs time to set and was told I would be fine. The very next day, massive amounts of rainwater was dripping into the car damaging all my electronic devices as well as the interior upholstery, neither of which was replaced or even addressed by the company. 2 weeks later I now have a stress crack down the middle of my windshield clearly stemming from the exact point of black gunk used to repair the first leak. even if the issue is corrected free of charge, its ridiculous to have to spend 4 appointments for a single windshield replacement.EDIT: they missed yet another appointment. will update again after getting a resolution.

Had one repair person lie to us about making phone calls to us. Your scheduler said we didnt need to be home, apparently not true. The second repair person was fine. The repair didnt work, I will need to replace the windscreen.

This was some of the worst business practice I have EVER seen.1. They put the wrong window in my door, then proceeded to laugh about it as if it was hilarious to them that there was a 2 inch gap at the top of my window for rain, dirt, etc. To fly right into my car.2. I was told it would take no more than 5 days for the right window to come in and they would call me when it arrived. 3 weeks later they finally realized that they had it there already.3. I came back in to have the window fixed. New guys this time.. they place the right window in, when I asked about why it took so long and what their reasoning for putting in the wrong window the first time, they were absolutely clueless as to anything going on around them.Unless immediate emergency, avoid these people at all cost.

Scratched vehicle and wont take responsibility. Dont like to clean up after themselves, had them out for a rear van window, left glass covered gasket in my work parking lot and in mulch bed, also on back deck of van. Also didnt bother to find or re-cover bolt covers. Tried to call in a complaint but Mr. Kril doesnt like to answer his phone.
