4 stars because i’ve loved this place for years and this is the first time i’ve ever had an issue. I’m actually so upset. i’ve been a loyal customer to this location since i was a kid. Ordered Egg and cheese on an everything bagel this morning (9/3/21) and i opened it up to see this. The egg is all grey on both halves of the sand which. I’ve never had a problem with this place so i’m very surprised they would send food out looking like this. Had a lot of faith in Country Bagel Parkway but damn, i’m upset.

Prices are too high. Blueberry muffins are extremely dry, and only have bits of blueberries in them...chopped, no nice, big juicy ones to enjoy. Included picture because you wouldnt know it was blueberry looking at it. Literally nothing visual as a blueberry. Needless to say, they went to the trash since I was too far away to return them. The girl that served me was not very customer friendly. I had not been there for years, so was a little indecisive about what to get, and it was like I was a chore rather than a customer. Will never go back. Would not recommend at all. Not one to give bad reviews, but this one was not close to good.

One of the best places for bagels in West Chester. If you go on a weekend, be ready for a line but the service is great and there is a ton of variety.

I recently moved to the West Chester area and Ive been trying local Bagel shops searching for the best one! Originally being from North Jersey, I like a certain type of bagel, which is usually hard to fine in PA. Well, my search is OVER! I had the Sesame bagel toasted well done with cream cheese and it was PERFECTION! The coffee was great as well. I will definitely be back and Ill be sharing this location with friends! :)

Country Bagel has a ton of great bagel options and their breakfast sandwich options compliment them well. There are spreads available for bagels, baked goods, and drink options as well. They get pretty busy but the staff handles a crowd well. One tip, walk past the register towards the friendly staff behind the counter to order. You then head to the register to pay once your order is ready - I dont know if thats posted (I may have missed it) but its definitely the flow of the place.

Country Bagel provides a delicious assortment of bagels and other pastries that are warm and tasty. There is an excellent selection of cream cheese as well. The employees are friendly. They can get really busy. Dont let that discourage you. They move fast. Convenient parking in the center.

I feel guilty bc I have never left a bad review of any place bc it’s not in my character, but.... this was not a good experience.First I asked for a bacon egg and cheese and I got given a sausage egg and cheese. And maybe it’s because I’m from New York but I’m deeply offended by the quality of these bagels. Shriveled, waxey and not good :(I don’t know how they are making them but they are certainly not baked and boiled but they should look into upgrading their standards.

Our friends gave us 2 coupons for a dozen bagels for the price of 6. So we drove out of our way to try them. I was pleased that even though we were buying them at half price that the service was so friendly. They were so very fresh and so many kinds that we came back a week later. I mentioned that I had cut one incorrectly making it too big to fit the toaster so the lady serving us showed me how to cut them so that wouldnt happen again. And to boot she cut a number of them for me. Truly a wonderful place to do business.

Had a turkey club wrap and it was very enjoyable! The homemade bagel chips were super tasty and my boyfriends bagel was baked to perfection. Everything tasted great, will definitely be going back!

The bagels made here are some of the best I have ever eaten. They are just the right consistency and the everything bagel has an amazing flavor. The staff are hard working and yet always offer a smile. Thanks for all you do every day to keep this place serving us!

I love this shop. Everything is fresh and well priced. The bagels are the best around and they have a variety of sandwiches and spreads to choose from. It can get busy on weekend mornings so be sure to get there early!

Never have I encountered such rude and disrespectful individuals in my life. Val and Rob were literally screaming at me over an order that I sent through door dash that they made incorrectly. Don’t get me started on how burnt the bagels were. Rob was literally SCREAMING at me because they were busy and needed to keep the line clear for customers. They were also rude to my dasher. My order had already been paid for and this was all about getting it corrected. I truly think that these two should not be running a store and should not be allowed to deal with people. I hope this review helps people to see who they really are. Not to mention the bad quality in the food. They tried very hard to blame the issue on the Gay street location but they clearly were the ones at fault. They may have 4.4 stars on Google but they really shouldn’t have this high of a rating. Valarie and Rob, you guys are two very racist human beings!UPDATE: my dasher just reported to me that Rob threw his phone back at him at the front counter. According to past reviews this place has cameras. The dasher plans on making a police report. I hope you guys get charged.IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: I wish I could post the screen shot of the address that my Dasher was sent to both times. It was in fact this location. No one screamed other than you in the background! As for the racism my Dasher who was hispanic felt like you were a racist and that was what he reported to me. I’m thankful that the conversation we had was over the phone. Clearly your anger gets taken out on the bagels you burn I mean “bake.” Better the food than a person I guess!

Bagels are absolutely amazing. Always fresh and soft. The egg sandwiches are outstanding. We also always get a dozen bagels and a flavored cream cheese to take on vacation with us!

This is really the best Bagel place I know. Always consistent, always delicious. The only place to go!

Used to be my favorite place for bagels. I did not know they offer well done and light bagels in each variety . My bad . Were did I say you did not try to please me . Lets get the facts straight . As a customer I was giving you feedback on what I felt was a sub par bagel . You are better than that. To argue is not my point . I drove back 40 minutes to let you see the everything bagels were burnt . The onion bagel I had today was great . The fact is as a customer I have had everything bagels my favorite of yours that have been excellent . And I had everything bagels without hardly anything on them . I was trying to help you . Sorry

Val and Rob are the best of the best. The freshest ingredients. Everything they make tastes so delicious. The coffee is always hot and fresh. Love this place!

Being from NY, I was desperately looking for a bagelry in the West Chester area that served good fresh bagels that could remind me of home. I visited the Country Bagel and Bakery twice in February and can report that their bagels were disappointing. I got an everything bagel with butter both times and it neither bagel had much taste to it. Oddly enough, their coffee was pretty decent. My search continues.

Best bagel place in the WC area, hands down. High Street location is the way to go for parking, Gay street if your walking.

The girls there are great. Very helpful and pleasant. Food is great too.

If you go to WCU and dont frequent this place what are you doing with your life? Its out of the way, relaxed, and cheap! Oh and did I mention some of the best bagels around? Its also clean and the staff is pleasant.

This bagel shop has solid bagels and a great staff of young ladies serving the customers. So, i say to the older man working there, let the young ladies handle the front end of the business. You embarrassed the young lady waiting on me by reprimanding her when you were the one who messed things up and made yourself look like you dont know what you are doing. You could have asked her before assuming. Please stay in the back of the business and when you need to come up front, use some business acumen.

A solid local bagel shop. Stop in for a quick Breakfast bite when youre in downtown West Chester. They have good, fresh New York style bagels in a nice, wide assortment of flavors.

Last night I enjoyed this Indian Summer weather with jalepeno bagel chips spread with Country Bagels salmon cream cheese (which they make right there, one of many great flavors) and topped with compari tomatoes to accompany the 5 p.m. cocktail. They were delicious! The bagels themselves are New York chewy, and oh, so fresh. Next I will be trying their cinnamon buns and coffee buns with coffee. Well done!

I would come to this store to pick up orders for various clients.The one day I went, the owner skipped me after I was on line for over 10 mins and disregarded my complaints and said if I dont like it I can leave his store. He has a bad view on Doordash Delivery drivers.After my response to his rude statement, he decided to call the police. I was charged with disorderly conduct defending myself against an unfair store owner. The owner couldnt handle my ny attitude and used the police to turn the situation in his favor. I got loud after he called the cops. The bagel couple also lied in court. After our testimonies were heard in court, the judge reduced my fine from $470 to $25 and I was to pay for court fees.stay away from the owner. If he is at the front end helping out, hes not happy. Plus, he has a reputation in West Chester for behaving badly to his employees and family members. Its not a secret. To me it was since Im not from West Chester. Ive learned my lesson since, however, this shop is by far the worst Ive been in. The bagels are either burnt or undercooked and they microwave their eggs for their egg sandwiches. Gross 🤢
