So nice to have a great bike shop near me. The owner knows his business. I understand that as a small shop he needs to stay open and practice COVIC-19 safety rules at the same time. Very stressful situation. He is equally at risk. I was helped quickly, made my purchase and left. Id say for now, know before you go for a quick purchase. For big stuff, call ahead. :)
Very nice experience buying a bike for my daughter. Everyone was very helpful explaining all the different options and how to care for the bike.
Great service at a great price. If you need a bike or accessories this is the place to go. During the pandemic they are taking extra measures to ensure the health of their customers and staff
The best bike shopin the area
Needed a new bike saddle to replace a 25 yo one. Very helpful and non-pushy as to what type to get. Fantastic COVID-19 procedures, extremely safe business to go to. Will definitely be back in fall when Cruiser stock picks back up.
Take your business elsewhere. Old guy gave me the timeout when I said I wanted to look around. Rude!
I went in needing some riding gloves. I am new to road bikes and my hands and wrists have been hurting and going numb during the rides. I had a lot of questions to which both the older and younger gentlemen answered. As I walked out to my car thinking I had all my questions answered, the older gentlemen came out and gave me a few more suggestions on bike set up, posture etc. We spoke for a few more mins. They were extremely helpful and I was very appreciative. Now i hope i can comfortable on this bike and keep riding..
Excellent service. Took a ride from Suffolk County on Long Island, for a bike no one else had. The gentleman in the shop put the bike on hold. We got to the shop and had the sale done in under 20 minutes
Great local shop that handles all work on my expensive Bianchi. I nuked the rear Campy Zonda wheel. Bill went above and beyond to help me get it rebuilt. To the other posters complaining about sales pitches. Well, it is a business and most businesses try to make money last time I checked.
Came all the way from nyc to pick up my giant stance and they where quick and super helpfull, they guy was more than happy to give me some tips and advice about my bike.
Brandywine roadie here and have crossed thresholds of many of the LBS in the region. Two stars after visiting the shop - 1 star for the terrible Specialized leggings I bought which ripped a month later (I have Gore tights a size smaller that are 8 years old and still going strong). Another one star for the cranky owner. There are better LBS in the region with better products/service.
Today was our 1st time there and the old guy behind the counter is super rude.....the other guy following us around the store wasnt as bad, but he seemed afraid of the old guy....weird experience. I will never go back.
Went in thinking i was only paying $135 for a tuneup and clean up (Trek Bike Store charges about $75-$80 total for exactly the same thing!), ended up paying almost $190 (he charged me additional $50 for clipons and cleats and tape install!), didnt say a word about additional charges. Was rude (I believe the guys name is Bill) didnt even great me when I came back to pick up my bike. And the kid that works for Bill was rushing to close the store so they didnt measure me properly to adjust the height of the saddle. Bottom line - if youre not buying a bike from them, they wont bother with you and will charge you an arm and a leg for EVERYTHING. Find a better bike store, this guy is a ripoff!
Great local shop. These guys got me the parts I needed to repair my dropper post, saved me a couple bucks in shipping and lent me a temp post so I could keep riding. Really appreciate the excellent service.
Super sales-y. I went in just to get sizing for a bike I was interested in getting and the old man there kept pushing towards a 29er. When I told him I wasnt interested he just said whatever. Then he kept telling me that the bike I was interested was out of stock everywhere. I called one other shop and they told me that they were readily available from the manufacturer. Id suggest going nearly anywhere else.
I was looking for a 2015 Specialized Sirrus Sport and spoke to Bryce, very nice and helpful fellow who told me they did have one. Next day I went into the shop and was shown the bike by Perry, again a very nice and knowledgeable guy. Got the bike and was very pleased with the staff at the store.
Great store, just wish open later but the only place I go.
Great service, its nice that they have just about every part available for my older bikes . The older guy there is very nice and has a lot of knowledge and experience and patiences .
Ive been biking with these folks for over 20 years, have not been disappointed yet.
Literally a thief. Told me a tune up would cost me $70. Went back the next week to pay and he rings me up for $143.00. Shrugs, Work had to be done. I told him he should have called as some of the work was changing out the brake lines which were frayed and rusty which were not as it is the one area I always keep an eye on for safetys sake. Charged me $22 dollars for a new quick release for front wheel (again, said the old one was rusted and useless). I found the exact same part hanging on his wall for $6.99. If I had been given the option I knew enough that I would have chosen to put in a new one myself.Shrug, labor. Not even a hint of responsibility. I was being a nuisance to him.I had to leave as I was actually afraid of my own anger. I called the police when I got home I was so irate. But small claims court was only route which is what the scammer relies on. Guy in my apt. building I met, ironically, riding the stationary bikes in Dec. at Any Time fitness right down the street, had very much the same experience but with 2 bikes brought in the same day.STAY AWAY
This experience reminded me of Pulp Fiction when Bruce Willis stumbled into the pawn shop with two crazed yahoos...we just wanted to look at some bikes (this was a bike shop we thought) and they let us know in no uncertain terms we were not welcome!
Perry treated me great and helped me out in a jam.
Good work, reasonable pricing and professional employees
I would give it no star if I had that option. had to give one star just to get this review on here which is undeserving btw. I called and ask a couple questions about bike tires and tubes, The rude jerk on the phone laughed at me and was rude about the question to the Sizes of tires .Went in person once and even more uncomfortable attitude given about the Bike I was looking to buy, I also had the money to buy the Bike I wanted which was around $600.00 bucks decided there not getting my business . So I walked out and went to Wal-Mart Guess my Grandson will have to settle for the Wal-Mart Bike .Older man there was a bouble prick they got a dog running around the place to up your butt. Very Unprofessional.
Great bike shop with friendly service
