After getting a quote from another company that had many add-ons with additional prices included we got a recommendation from a friend for Brandywine Valley Heating & Air Conditioning. I called and was able to get a quote same day with the work performed the next day. All the important add-ons the other company was charging me hundreds to do were included and done with no fanfare or additional charges. There were 2 safety issues in my home pointed out to me kindly and with no expectation that it was done to sell me anything. (One was simply the placement of a carbon monoxide detector so no attempt at sales.) The workers were respectful and kind and the office staff was polite and efficient on the phone. Highly recommend these guys!

For our recent (regular) maintenance service, technician, Bill (who has worked on our heating system numerous times in the past), was friendly, timely, courteous, left work area clean, and was (as usual) very thorough in his work. We are 100% satisfied trusting Brandywine Valley with our heating system, and would highly recommend Brandywine to others. They might not be be the cheapest on the block, but are reasonably-priced, and as the old saying goes, you pay for what you get.

Brian was on time for my scheduled appointment and finished as scheduled. He was very efficient, polite, and unobtrusive. There were no issues with my furnace so good for another year.

The technician was prompt, worked diligently to get the job done, checked to make sure the unit worked as needed, and explained what was done when he finished. He cleaned up his equipment and left the area clean.

They not only have us an estimate, but showed us ALL the options, pros and cons of different features compared to price. We were able to make an informed decision, instead of a blind decision like the other two companies wanted us to do.Since weve had the new system, our heating and cooling bills are both dramatically lower and our home is more comfortable. Yay!

Without going into major details Brandywine heating was always my first choice. Jon Dunn helped me understand options and select the right system and Sean and Zack installed the system when it was 90 degrees outside. Amazing experience from start to finish when we needed a whole new heating/AC unit. Not only did they give us one of the best prices in town, but we were impressed with the knowledge and responsiveness of our sales rep during the process! The crew who handled our install did an excellent job on the work and explaining everything to us post install. Also- the area was super clean! Def plan to continue to give BVHC our business!

Brandywine installed a new AC unit with quite a bit of new duct work as well. Mark took the time to go over all of our options and was friendly and prompt. Bill drew up clear plans and showed them to me and explained how it would improve the AC performance. Marty and Joel installed the new unit and all the duct work, a tough job as my attic has a low ceiling. The work was done well and they cleaned up after themselves. The new unit is so quiet, I have a hard time hearing it when its on. Great experience, excellent communication from all involved, highly recommended.Update 5 years later - I had them put a mini-split in my basement a few weeks ago. My initial contact was Mark again, same great experience. Then Steve came out to check the job site, wonderful to work with, and very friendly. For the install, I believe it was Sean and Bill, did a fantastic job. Very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They even moved a vent register for me and I didnt even ask. Great people and great service, take it from a repeat customer, Brandywine is the best.

I have always had a great experience with this Company. Myself and my parents before me have always had a service contract. I had a 30 year old heater and a 20 year old air conditioner. Now my heater was on its last leg and had been for a couple of years. But at no time did any of the techs tell me I needed a new heater. They would service it and keep it running. It was not until I brought it up that the service tech says yes, you need a new heater. These guys are great!

I used Brandywine HVAC for several years, and I thought I was satisfied with their work until I found out that they did not set the right gap of my oil burner electrodes (probably causing them to wear-off prematurely). The price they quoted me for new electrodes was a complete rip-off. They wanted to charge me $252 for a part the costs only about $15! In addition, the part their technician wanted to install was a wrong part for my burner. Their President told me that they charge all their customer this price. I am writing this review to make sure they have fewer customers to rip-off.

I made an appointment online in which I received a response the next day from Mark. The email stated that someone would contact me that morning and try to get someone out that day or the next. That call never happened. I emailed back stating this and Marks reply was apologetic and said that he would show up today around 2:30pm. It is currently 4:30pm and no one has come yet, not even a phone call. It boggles my mind that I was looking to possible give you my business and apparently you dont want it. Nothing like taking a day off from work and no one shows up. Unfortunately I have to give 1 star to post this otherwise it would be 0.

Excellent experience over many years until today. Called Wednesday to report AC outage. Was told service person available Friday (today). Checked status 2PM Friday and was informed contract maintenance customers take precedence no service until next week. Monday is holiday and no specific commitment as to when service tech would be available next week. Horrible customer communication leaving me with on Friday before holiday week-end with no AC and losing two dayswhen I might have been able to get another firm to provide service.

Anibal was very professional and knowledgeable. He was attentive to our questions and took additional time to give several tips to protect HVAC and cooling system from sudden failure. I really liked companys contract to get our system checked twice a year. The prices are reasonable and customer service provided by Anibal was very professional and respective. Highly recommend Anibal and company to others.

When the guys came out to do the install, they were all very professional and cleaned up at the end of the day before returning . Had a great experience in the past but not this time around. Called at the beginning of the week because AC is down and was told that I am being put on the emergency board and someone will get back. Didnt hear anything for several days and when calling back I was told that it will take another week or two until someone is available.

Chuck is professional, personable and efficient. On time and with respect for the premises. Also, when I lost power and was concerned about pipes bursting, I contacted BVH&A and received an immediate response with details on next steps. The on call technician stated that he could come within the hour. I did not need the service, thankfully. I am impressed with the speed of response to a potential emergency situation. Thank you.

Even before I had a service contract that, among other things, provides preferential ranking for service calls, BVHVAC always showed up quickly when I needed them.The service techs who have been in the house to replace a gas burner, hot water heater as well as routine maintenance have all been down to earth and, most importantly to me, knowledgable and willing to share what they know with me.Same goes for the people who handle my phone calls. This is really a top-shelf, customer oriented business that takes its place in the services industry very, very seriously.

We contacted Brandywine heating and cooling on oe of the coldest days in the winter. Our house was hovering at 63 degrees. And would not get any warmer. We were originally told that they would send someone out the next day but then recieved a call back that the local technician had finished his day earlier than expected and could come out right away. Anibal showed up about 15 minutes later. He was very polite and professional. He answered all of our questions. It took him only a few minutes to figure out what was wrong and order the part that he needed. He returned a few days later and installed it. The whole interaction was efficient and pleasant. Ronald did a great job performing our system maintenance and installing a new thermostat for us. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and has a pleasant disposition as well!

We turned on our AC yesterday and it wasnt working correctly. At around 3:00 AM it will was still pretty warm in the house, and my husband was up and trying to figure out a solution and wrote an email to Bill Ronayne, the owner of BVHVAC. Bill responded by 5:30 AM. A technician was at the house a few hours later, so was Bill. The issue was resolved within an hour. We were previously with Wesley Wood and could not have been more unhappy. They are awful. Brandywine HVAC is the best around. Bill is a class act and his technicians really know their stuff.

About a week ago, after our first oil delivery of the season, our oil tank started leaking! Brandywine Valley came out and diagnosed the leak, installed a temporary patch on the tank to stop the leak, installed a new tank, cleaned up the oil that had leaked onto our basement floor and pumped our oil from the old tank to the new in less than 24 hours. All of the technicians were polite and professional and everyone was a pleasure to work with. Hopefully this new tank will outlive me, but if the need arose, I would definitely use them again!

After 8 years of having a service contract, never having made a service request, I contacted Brandywine Valley for an issue I needed resolved. I was clear as to the problem that I had and The technician showed up without the tool he needed - then charged me $99:00 for the service call where he did nothing.
