I WISH I COULD PUT 6 STARS!!!I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years on cheap and mediocre outdoor patio lights. What I found was that they never last and end up replacing them year after year, which I feel is totally unnecessary. I needed a more cost effective solution but I was surprised that I couldnt find any premium grade lighting in Canada, let alone Toronto, where I live but I was committed to never replacing my old lights with cheap budget lights ever again!Several years ago, I came across Hometown Evolution who is based in the US. I ordered my first string of lights and I couldnt have been happier! Not only is their product premium and competitively priced but every single person that I spoke with from their company was incredibly friendly, helpful and was genuinely eager to make me happy. My experience end to end was incredibly impressive and as an avid Amazon customer, it was a nice touch to get back have a person to person conversation. I am regularly complimented on them and always asked where I got them from because they dont look cheaply made.Fast forward several years later and I am pleased to say that my lights have lasted the test of time! They look and work just as they did the very first day that I got them and have never once had any issues with them. Ive now moved to a much larger house and I have again, worked closely with the Hometown staff and again, was given the same impeccable service, competitive pricing and premium products from years ago!This level and consistent service is a true testament to just how great this company is and encourage others to reach out to them--you will honestly NOT be disappointed!THANK YOU AGAIN HOMETOWN!!!

Hometown Evolution is an oasis of customer service at a time when it is practically a lost art. They were immensely helpful and made sure that we had the products that we needed in a timely manner (including an urgent swap-out to make sure that our light system worked for our needs).Their care and attendance to us as customers allowed us to be able to make our daughters birthday (and our summer) special, even during a global pandemic. I searched the internet for a reasonably priced replacement for the fairy light bulb which was broken when my rambunctious dog tipped the lamp over. What I found were bulbs which were apparently victims of Covid inflation -- in other words much higher priced than the original.So, I kept looking and found Hometown Evolution where not only do they have a complete selection of Fairy Lights, but the prices are right and the customer service, I came to find out to my great pleasure, was spectacular.The bulb I ordered arrived well-packed/protected but one of the wires required to be connected to the bulbs base had broken in transit (see photo). I contacted Hometown Evolution and explained the problem. There was no push back or argument -- in fact, Id no more than explained my problem, than they said well send you a new one.Well, turns out that they sent TWO bulbs -- the clear white LED bulb and a multi-colored bulb (see photos) sent just because they thought I might also like it. All at no cost which I think is above and beyond for merchants whose reputation is often affected by the vagaries of the countrys postal or private carrier systems.They told me they tested the bulbs before sending them and could guarantee they worked when they left the company. They arrived in perfect shape.Hometowns customer service staff wouldnt hear of letting me pay for the bulbs so Im glad to write this review. The range of lighting products is extensive and fun to think about how one might use them ... which I may very well do.And because friends who see my bulbs always ask where I got them, I now can say, WITHOUT RESERVATION, that I got them at a great company in Pennsylvania which has great prices, a huge variety of unusual lighting products, and terrific customer service.Michael ScottIndianapolis

Let me just say this - Hometown Evolution goes above and beyond and stands behind their products 1000%. I purchased 100 ft of LED string lights last year and have recently had some issues with them. Nothing major but when i contacted H.E. they were like, no no - let us take care of this for you and went so far as to not even allow me to pay for postage. I havent dealt with many folks there, but if even a third of them are as helpful as Tim is, let me just say, this company will go very far. I love their products, their quality, their customer service and their more than affordable. Especially for the quality you get. If i had the money Id be buy just about everything they offer. Not because I need it, but because Id like to support a company who takes such great care of their customers.I do wish i had a better photo of our lights. but this will give you an idea.

Some of the light bulbs got rain water in them somehow. I contacted Timothy in sales who was very helpful in taking care of this unusual occurrence. He helped me by combining other items I ordered with the replacements that he sent. I appreciate everything that he did for me. This business is one of the finest Ive dealt with in a great many years.I know nothing about electrical stuff, but I went ahead & ordered bistro lights for our backyard. Unfortunately, Covid-19 postponed the installation until the wk. before last.When we finally turned the lights on they looked fabulous, HOWEVER, Id ordered 2 different types of light bulbs - I thought G-50 2 bulbs were all the same.I immediately wrote to Hometown Evolutions, Inc. & to my surprise they were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and efficient. In less than 2 wks. theyve replaced all of the wrong bulbs for the right ones, without charge, and even sent a few extras. The lights look incredible.Next week is my 70th birthday & Im now able to anticipate celebrating this milestone mainly because Hometown Evolutions, Inc. were so incredible.I would highly recommend this company to anyone without hesitation.(Thanks Brian & Tim)

I originally chose Hometown Evolution as my source for outdoor lighting because their product had more description and appearance of quality. I was tired of replacing these type lights due to weather and squirrels chewing the wires and just plain cheapness. I also wanted to be able to change individual bulbs as necessary. I am an unusual purchaser, Good enough is not good enough. I research and choose most everything I buy OK, Im one of those people. Upon receiving my string sets I knew I had made a great purchase, and after 2-3 years, all lights were still burning, but most all of them had condensation inside and some were half filled with water. I called HEI and discussed this situation and was immediately told that a few years ago they had received a batch of bulbs that indeed demonstrated water leakage. Without even asking, HEI sent me a complete set of replacement bulbs no issues at all. This is proof that doing your research and making the best purchase you can find is well worth your time. These strings (no squirrel chew) and bulbs (great warm look and feel) and the customer service of HEI will keep me coming back for future lighting design projects. Will add pics soon. Thanks, Tom
