My go to place. They are a little over priced at times (still cheaper then the competition) yet Im still there least once or twice a week. The staffs awesome.

Top notch place for fluid and parts. Had the fluid PSF, and ordered the part for me. Said it will be in tomorrow. Didnt catch the young mans name but Dorman was on the receipt. Cant wait to run here next time I need something for my aging 2005 Honda Odyssey. Thanks for keeping her running!!

3 separate times Ive called these people for a price quote on parts for different vehicles and every single time I call, theyre so rude to me. I refuse to buy from this place any more.. its not like there isnt an Oreilleys, a Napa, and Advanced all right around the corner. Bye

Let me use there car code reader and helped me with that and look up the code that registered. Helped me find the right windshield wiper blades and a few other things. Great customer service.

They were helpful in diagnosing my car issue and took tools out to the car to work. Very cordial and friendly.

Went to get battery replaced at this location. They insisted on charging the battery only. I asked several workers about how long the charge would last and why charging was better then replacing. My battery is around 5 years old. I was not given any information about the charging and they would not change my battery as I asked several times. Car died less then a day later, took it to another place to get the battery changed. Guess my money wasnt good enough for this place.

A quick in and out with the parts I needed

I have been here almost 6 years. I never had bad customer service like the experience I had in this store.

Stuff were supposed to be at same store but haad to go to different stores across town from each other. Wad not happy.

Very helpful and polite. The counter staff made sure all my needs were very well taken care of before I left. KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB. The lady was rude to me when I ask for a different person. I was helped by the other person first and she told me things that I was told by the other person was not true.... She needs to be watched or put in her place!!!!

Had a wonderful experience with an AutoZone employee, JB. The store was located in West Des Moines. I called about needing a brace light bulb replaced. JB was very helpful, telling me he can help me by finding the brake light bulb and replacing it for me. The whole process took 15 minutes. This saved me so much time and money. He was very professional, kind, informative, and patient. I will definitely be returning to this AutoZone for future car issues. Thanks so much JB!!

Purchased some wheel bearings online and went to go pick it up a couple hours later during my lunch break. I was amazed how clean., Organized and way way bigger inside than perceived from the outside... I wanted to shop around a little more whole there but I was helped right away with my online order pickup. I will definitely go back to this location and am now an AutoZone fan

Had exactly what I needed with a friendly, helpful staff.

The staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and the store is very clean and new. Im so glad that we have an AutoZone near West Des Moines. The one problem is that its a bit difficult to get to if you are arriving from Valley Junction since it is on a busy road. If you are arriving from the north its no problem to get to.

When you need parts its AutoZone.

I went in for a windshield wiper. They were friendly and helpful. He put my wiper on my car. Id recommend going here.

Worst customer service I have ever gotten. Ive encountered 4 employees on 3 separate occasions, all were rude and either incompetent or simply unwilling to assist with basic requests such as where a tool is located in the store. Drive the short distance down the road to Napa or OReilly, youll be much better off!

Absolutely amazing the man at the front desk not only did whatever he could to make sure I had the right parts but he also came outside to make sure it fit and it worked before leaving. Thank you!

Great place and better staff. I thought I needed to replace my one one year old Duralast battery but the young man there, Joel, found out that my clamp was loose and tightened it for me for free. Thanks.

Decided to try new Auto Zone on 1st Street West Des Moines needed battery for car.Your store had 1 customer,your employee checked had battery in stock,I asked if he could install,he seemed hesitate but went out and looked at old battery said bolts looked too corroded would probably break but he could sell me the battery but not install.I said no thanks went down the street to OReillys,young man changed battery out in 5 minutes.Not impressed,your new store is nice without customer service you have nothing.Wont be back.

I broke a windshield wiper originally installed by Advance Auto Parts, they did a great job, went back there and found out they had closed their location on Grand Ave...went to the Auto Zone on 63rd Street, two of their workers were outside working on cars and probably doing a good job, I waited third in line for the third worker and he was extremely unhelpful did not get the part for me or offer to install it on my car,,,I was wearing my Purple Heart Hat as I am a recruiter for the Military Order of the Purple Heart, all Combat Wounded, and I simply left...went to OReilly Auto Parts just down the street, took all of five minutes, worker got my part rung me up at the cash register and installed the windshield wiper on my car...Great Service at OReilly Auto Parts,,,the Guy at the Auto Zone should be fired if You want to keep Customers coming back....

I went there and they had what they said they would have when they said they would have it.

Only one guy in the store and one other customer took 20 min and 2 phone calls before I got helped and they didnt have the part will never go here again.

Worker smoking 2 feet from entrance, cashier was rude but thats on par with other part stores.
