I ordered 3 Hayes Tufted Barstools from Pottery Barn about 2 years ago. I paid over $700 for each barstool. They have each probably been sat in 10 times because of where they are located in our home. I was dusting one day and discovered all three of the barstools are coming apart at the seem. I called PB customer service and was totally given the run around. Apparently, after 1 year they really dont offer any repair, replacement or even a call back. So very disappointed. Dont buy PB furniture! Not worth the money! The photos are of my husband trying to fix my $700 junk chairs! Pottery Barn should be embarrassed!
I went into the store to pick up a chair for my mom because the MN store didn’t have it. It look over 30 minutes to find the chair- that was on hold. My mom was told the chair was a floor model and a certain price from the Mn store. The chair in this store was $100 more and still in the box. There was absolutely no communication between the stores. I was in the store for an hour waiting for the team to figure it out. Very poor experience. As a retail manager myself, I understand that things get misplaced and miscommunication happened. But the staff was not very friendly and was just telling me everything I was told was wrong. Just the messenger here! :)I recommend ensuring customers do not stand around for that long. It doesn’t look good for the customers coming in the store.
Possibly the worst purchasing experience of my life, I have spent $4,935.63 for 2 pieces of furniture over 4 months ago and have received nothing but frustration. No one can tell me where my items are or when they might show up. The customer service is nothing short of terrible, I have made several calls and received conflicting stories and I was even told once to be patient and wait until the items show up. I just spent yet another 1hr 6mins on the phone with customer service and again am nothing more than disappointed and out right angry. I would not recommend this store for any type of purchase.
Beautiful store. Wonderful help. Love shopping at Pottery Barn!
Went into the store at Jordan Creek mall in Des Moines, Iowa and was treated very rudely. Short with answers and not assisting with what I wanted to purchase. “Stated to just go look for myself “ I have recently purchased a large amount of gifts during the holidays. I probably will never go back to that store. Need some education on customer service.
I have been in your store in Jordan Creek 3 times in last month and not once could I get waited on. One time 4 people were busy stocking candles having a good time they said they would be with me in a minute after 5, I left. I have shopped other Pottery Barns and never have I had to beg for help. I guess I order online or go to Omaha.
Bought an Alexandra media table with marble top along with many other pieces and the marble was cracked. Well I am being told its going to be 4 months to replace top!!!?? Really, a big store like yours and no where in the country is there another one to replace it. Or better yet your suppliers quit making product and were left with a table with no top. Good job Pottery Barn. I pay the additional costs to be taken care of and this is what I get. I think next time it will be somewhere else.
If I could give a 0 I would. I loved working with the sales associate but once my order was placed, Pottery Barn has done nothing but lie and cheat me out of my money. Its been over 3 months and I still dont have my order that was supposed to ship in 6 weeks. Ill never buy another item from Pottery Barn or any other Williams and Sonoma brand.
I love shopping here.Pros:Higher end itemsConsThey don’t stick all of their furnitureThey charge delivery’s and shipping on most thingsSome items made in ChinaSome items require assemblyIf you found my honest review helpful, please like or comment.
I bought the furniture in November. It was delivered with a broken leg. I have spent about 4-5 hours dealing with this between phone calls, emails, and visiting the store. Its been one month and I still havent had an answer regarding how the broken leg of my furniture is going to be repaired or replaced. Its been a month since the store said they would call me back and I even went to the store to discuss this matter since they havent called me back yet, as mentioned in the previous email, the general manager ( Kristin Alvarez ) was supposedly in the back of the store but when they asked for my name she was suddenly no longer there and would call me when she returned to the store. It has been a month now, no call. I just contacted the customer service and return everything. I’ll not buy anything from Pottery Barn here at Jordan Creek again. The manager should handle this better, instead of avoiding the customer.
Nice items. A little pricey
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Very over priced
Wow, expensive stuff that is poor quality. Many items on display were broken and/or poor quality.
Staff is a little snooty.
Bought kids table and chair set here, a chair leg broke after 2 years, they replaced it with free shipping. Excellent customer service-thanks
