Great campus DMACC. It also has a great maker space.
Instructors and staff are the friendliest folks you could ever hope to meet. There has not been a time Ive visited the campus when they werent super helpful and super polite. Go into DMACC West ready to work and learn, and these guys will get you where you need to be in life. A real first-class group of people.
Great place for technical learning and teaching as I do.
Avoid like the plague. Help was rude and store was empty. Rest of campus is excellent. Just avoid bookstore. Help just wanted to talk among themselves and didnt want to actually help someone.
Growing rapidly
Awful internet for students paying hundreds of dollars to take classes only offered online. Decently nice people except a theater professor who shouted at me to get out and close the door and get out when I accidentally walked in on the end 5 minutes of her class on the first day of classes, which is an honest mistake many kids make. They try to wow you with activities sponsored by club west by giving you discounted pizza and a drawing for things like a box of chocolate. Not very friendly to students whom have allergies, lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance, etc.
Dmacc West is a nice campus, its not very large but that can also be a very good thing. They always have fun activities going on with club west and it is very enjoyable.
DMACC recently held an event where a skinhead was allowed onto campus to downplay the events of KKK activity by Creston students. Does DMACC not value its POC community? DMACC must not value its POC students who are seriously harmed emotionally and physically by allowing these kinds of events on campus. It is not a safe space.
Some of the teachers are okay, but the advisers are no help at all stay clear come to ankeny
Its super chill
Very nice and helpful people!!!
So expensive, but education is worth it
Very small book store, but they are also on a small campus.
Ok
