Over all a really good store. My only problem is that they rather throw out things that are still in decent condition that someone would still buy, rather then sell it at a discounted price. Mind you not that the prices are in issue in anyway, but the wastefulness is sad.

Its hit or miss here but worth figuring out! There are a lot of products similar to easily recognized brand names. Some are great and will provide you with tasty savings others miss the mark completely. Its my go to for dairy, chocolate, 100% fruit juice, frozen fruit, food storage bags/ wraps and TP. Plenty of other good deals if youre willing to test out the products and figure it out for yourself. I save a fair amount of money doing about half of my grocery shopping here.

After their renovation I thought Id not have to drive all the way to New britain or Newington for a decent Aldi. I was wrong. This one is STILL not as good. Southington is my favorite,but way too far.

They out has been updated and I think I like it. Lol. But, Ive only been once since its been changed. I do like the change to the produce section.

Alidi has become one of my favorite food stores not because their prices are affordable but their different brands then the names brands Ive been brought up on actually taste good. I recommend trying this store out if you havent.

I always feel rushed by the cashiers when I get my groceries here. And they don’t stock up your cart neatly when cashing you out. Usually produce goes in the front of the cart as to not be squished by heavier items. My strawberries were squished under the bananas when I got to the car. Otherwise good selection, usually find what I’m looking for. Great variety of healthy snacks.

There remodeling at the one in west hartford

Cashiers are very, very rude. You ask them something and they act like you are bothering them. Some floor employees are the same. If you ask them where is an item they point towards the direction, but wont take the time to locate it for you.

Clean, open early for older adults, nice staff, great prices. Love my Aldis!!

I shop at Aldis frequently, this is a very clean store with a great selection of food.

ALDI offers very low price generic versions of common grocery store Staples. These are the same as name brands you would find elsewhere but just packaged as an ALDI house brand. Especially good for things that are typically expensive in the supermarket but too perishable to buy in bulk from Costco. E.g., guacamole, cured meats (salami, pepperoni, etc.), prepared breads like bagels and English muffins (99¢!), Hummus. These options are almost universally cheaper than competitive stores, including Trader Joes. Unfortunately, you give up some presentation and convenience to make up for the cost savings. Carts require depositing a quarter, you need to use your own bags, and it is staffed by a skeleton crew of only a few people. Aisles are not obviously labeled and it can be difficult to find what you need at times. Check out typically has long lines because only a few are running. You need to bring your own bags because they dont offer them or if they do they cost money. You do the bagging yourself which can slow down the lines. They do accept all credit cards. No beer or wine offered at this location. Better customer service at check out lines would earn another star.

It took a few times going to Aldi before I felt comfortable shopping there. They have different brands, a different layout, and a different vibe then most grocery stores. But the food is almost all just as good, and it has literally cut my grocery budget by 40%. I love Aldi.

Very good place to find bargains on foodstuff and produce.This supermarket still incorporates quarter carts which you need to shop. No quarter, no cart. Who still does that?The store is very clean and pretty stocked. The produce tends to be very fresh and low priced. Not a big selection on dairy and meats. But very well priced. Lots of boxes and canned food. The aisles are small and difficult to move around when the store is busy.The cashiers are friendly but tend to be very crowded. Long lines as well. I think that stockers are also the cashiers so theyre juggling both duties. I could be wrong about that setup, but almost always this place has long lines.

Love it the only thing thats wrong with this place is the Quarter thing with the shopping carts

Good prices on eggs and dairy products. Good sale prices on some fruits and vegetables. Quality of fruit is often poor. Vegetables are usually good. Frequently run out of fruits and vegetables later in the day.

I had a great experience at this Aldis today. Im a personal shopper and cant always find what my customer orders. Today I had 4 items I was having trouble finding. I wish I had got his name because he was awesome!! Not only did he show me where each item was, when an item wasnt on the shelf he went and looked in their storage to see if they had more!! Im grateful for that and he ABSOLUTELY made my customer happy!! I havent had the best experience at the Aldis in Rocky Hill. Its made CLEARLY by a couple of their staff that you are a bother to them!! Thank you very much for your excellent customer service!!

Easy, has everything that you need. Inexpensive if done right. A weeks worth a groceries for under 50 bucks.

Credit cards are finally accepted. It is a good place for grocery shopping. Pretty inexpensive. They also have a variety of things besides groceries.

I LOVE Aldi. But one thing that I have noticed is that ALDI is always under staff. ALDI should work harder on this. I think that will help much better with customer service. Plus, they need to figure out a way to put more attention (and love) to the product department. The attention (care/to/details) that is put into this department is way low. Way too low. Please, raise the bar on it (without raising the prices). I love you ALDI.

Aldi is my go to store when Im looking for quality fruits and vegetables at a lower cost. I find the price of their organic fruits and vegetables cheaper than most stores. I also like their nuts and some canned goods too. The cashiers are very friendly and helpful and this makes the shopping experience great!

This is a neat n fast store and the quality of food is excellent - organics, non-GMOs, no preservatives! Absolutely love the fact that it offers no carts and bags for free. The cartons and cases are recycled too. Increases efficacy of ones $$

Consider yourself lucky to live close to a store like this. Pretty much all the brand name products without the names and price. Take advantage!

The shopping experience was great with a variety of products. Quite a diversified stream of foods and household products. I enjoyed both the familiar and foreign labels. The store is clean and well attended to and above all I SAVED A LOT OF MONEY.

So disappointed. .. wanted to try Aldis for first time ... heard so many great things about them carrying a lot of organic productsI had to pay a quarter to use their carriage and I had no change!!! Went inside and all the cashiers were busy with customers and there was no where to get change. So I left

Nice, clean store. Staff are professional. Store doesnt offer a large selection of food. You can get eggs and a gallon of milk for really cheap price. You have to buy bags if you dont have your own. You pay a quarter for your cart which you can get back when your cart is returned.

This place is like mini Costco or BJs. Prices are pretty reasonable in fact better than big warehouses. Only thing is that you may not find any brands here instead they have their own. But the quality of thier brand is good. You get snacks, soda, groceries, vegetables, fruits, diary and some misleneous stuff as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love their products, prices and staff but it seems like they never have enough cash registers open. There is always a long line at check out thats why I havent really shopped there in a while.

Store was crowded and hectic with one cashier, ran into at least five different customers with loud, obnoxious kids in my 15 minute visit. Produce section was unacceptably poorly stocked, even for a rush hour (NO loose cucumbers???) Cashier was terse with me about the shopping carts, and when I was done taking my first bunch of stuff to my car, I found my other stuff placed on the counter without a word from the cashier. No smile or eye contact or Hey sorry dude, we had to move your stuff, no nothing. Will be avoiding this Aldi location going forward.
