This store is an immaculate, very well-stocked inventory. Everything from the display of products and well-stocked and neat. I was able to find all the items I wanted. Customer service was superb! Highly recommended.
I just got my covid vaccine here and I must say that I was impressed with how smooth the entire operation was. Great job CVS I am looking forward to get my second shot in about 3 weeks

I went for a drive-through covid test, and although the line was long, the staff was patient, cheerful, and helpful in telling me what to do for my test. A very positive and reassuring experience!
I switched from waldgreens to cvs across st for my meds only there 2 times for my meds and both times issuesThis 2nd and last visit they gave me the rong meds of course they said they didnotI even caught them in a lieDONT GET YOUR MEDS FROM C.V.S. CAMPBELL AVE WEST HAVEN .THEY MIGHT KILL YOU WITH THE RONG MEDSI was lucky I caught it before taking the meds
It’s USUALLY a great experience with this CVS (switched from Walgreens pharmacy across the street a few years back due to their unprofessionalism) until today. My doctor called in my Prescription around 1 pm today and left a message on the prescriber voicemail. I arrived at the CVS drive thru window at approximately 8 pm today. I was told by the servicing pharmacy technician Rachael, that there were no prescriptions that were ready for me. I reiterated that my doctor Called and left a voicemail. She argued that there were no voicemails pertaining to my inquiry. She continued to argue and at that point I asked that she check with the pharmacist since I was positive my doctor called in the Rx. Additionally, it is also common knowledge that pharmacy technicians are not the ones who execute prescription requests left on the prescriber’s voicemail—the pharmacists do! After being provided a horrible standard of care and waiting at the window for 10 minutes, she comes back with my prescription but had no explanation as to why she lied to a customer nor did she even apologize for the inconvenience. Instead she rudely asked for my DOB. This particular employee should not be assuming the role of a position where a customers health and welfare are supposed to be a superiority. That being said, she does not uphold the decency or ethics required to qualify her for such a position. I’m appalled that CVS would even staff someone so unprofessional, rude, & blatantly lazy.
I am immunocompromised. I call this CVS to get my prescriptions mailed to me. This is the 3rd time the same man, processing my order, has failed me. I verified my card was on file and address with him. Asked if he definitely was going to mail them. He responded yes, going in mail. Each time I have not received order, had to call back and ask another staff to mail my order. Today I will be going into talk to manager. There is no excuse for this. Especially when I am compromised and now have to enter the store to resolve issue. Very unhappy customer.
Absolutely horrible. I would give it a negative ratings if it was possible. I made a photobook order which said same day pick-up. I go there about 24 hours after the ready for pick up email, guess what the order wasnt even started. Someone printed the photos on A4 papers and left it like that. The lady at the store was nice enough to let me know that they dont have the printer for it, which mind you neither their website nor the people working will tell you. and I was like how could you not call me for 48 hours if you cant do it and show me the A4 papers. Like you have my contact details, just call me and let me know. The worst part is they just told me to transfer my order with no words on how to do and it took me 30 mins on call with the customer service and now I have to drive to a different location again.Next time I have an order, I will go to a walgreens down the road.
Never had a problem. Service is quick and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Regardless of the time I call during the day to check on a prescription I have to wait on the phone longer than 16 minutes which is insane.And I have to call to make sure they have “received” the medications from my doctors because I went to pick up medications once at 4:00 pm (waiting an hour and half after seeing my doctor cause I understand medications can take awhile to make sometimes) and the pharmacy claimed they never received anything.Called my doctor who sent it again, I waited 15 mins since the pharmacy told me it can take awhile to process. Called the pharmacy, told me they didn’t have it, called my doctor who sent it again. This time I called around 25 mins later, they still didn’t have it. Called my doctor who then called the pharmacy and then I was told oh wait they do magically have it. But now it’s going to take a few hours to make and would be ready at 9:30 pm Oh and by the way, when I went to pick it up at 9:30 pm IT WASN’T READY. I sat there for another 30 mins. There were 3 workers and no other people waiting at the pharmacy just me.That night I ended up in the ER. Overall a horrible experience and it’s just never gotten better. I’m going to be switching CVS. I’ve never dealt with such poor staffing or work ethic I honestly don’t know what to call it. This was all just absurd.
I found Portia at the pharmacy to be friendly, prompt, and extremely helpful when I was filling a prescription for a medication for my 4 month old puppy. They even cut the tablets in half for me so I wouldn’t have to. The staff member who I picked up the medication from was great too. Thank you all for helping ease what was a stressful situation with my sick little guy!
Do not ever use this pharmacy!!!! They are all unbelievably incompetent and unprofessional. They gave me the wrong information multiple times to resolve an issue they messed up to begin with. Alyssa gave me the wrong information to resolve the issue. Every other staff member that spoke to me has been insensitive and unprofessional. My next step is contacting the better business bureau.
Absolutely horrible. Nadine is not good at managing the pharmacy. Have waited over an hour for medication as she continuously takes customer after customer before filling my prescription. Really need to get more pharmacists working. Will not be returning to this pharmacy.
The staff of much better here the person that I had the issue with is gone thank goodness all great people here now just dont go to the one on to 252 Orange Avenue is a total different story but this one is awesome
Convenient, and always have some kind of sale/discount inside the store. Wish they did a better job advertising these though.
I am writing this review to share my positive experience with the pharmacy staff, first let me say that I never used CVS pharmacy, I have been using Walgreen pharmacy for over 20 years. by chance my cousins friend got sick and ended up in emergency room- on a late Friday night- she got out and needed her prescription filled, it was like 3 am, though Walgreen has 24 hr stores, they close the pharmacy at 9pm, this is dumb, my cousin friend was in pain with a fever, so i took a chance and googled CVS, i called store and learned pharmacy was 24, THANK GOD.now little did i know, i would have a acute issue a couple days later that required eye drops, I took my prescription to the Walgreen PHARMACY I had been using for years, apparently my insurance was saying i have another primary insurance for prescription, this was news to me, i needed these eye drops, i was told i could pay 30 dollars, and straighten it out with my insurance tomorrow- tomorrow wasnt a option- it was 8:30 PM, Walgreen closes at 9pm, I asked for my prescription and came to this CVS,remembering how nice the pharmacist was with my cousins friend .I went through drive thru, i was told the same story, yet offered another option, pay and get refund when i straighten it out with my current insurance, plus CVS WAS ONLY 20.99 not over 30.00 for same eye drops, i was told how to get REFUND which i did with no problem, I would of never thought to switch, but due to the great customer service I am switching, at least i know i can get my prescription when i need it and not wait hours, especially late night like. THANKS SO MUCH FOR HELPING MY EYES, and I didnt have to miss work - I want to give a SHOUT OUT to the pharmacy dept at this store and i look forward to using you as a new customer-

When the Walgreens across the street is low on birthday/anniversary/event cards, Ive been able to find something at this CVS.Ive never had a bad experience here. However, I also rarely come here since I know where everything is at the Walgreens across the street, and they have been here for decades.I cant say there is anything wrong with this CVS. But I also dont understand why they thought it would be a great idea to open DIRECTLY across the street from an established Walgreens.Use which ever one you prefer. They both seem good.
24 hours is a nice option when you need something last minute. Parking lot is a little sketchy so pay attention to your surroundings.
Worst pharmacy.. like others stated they never pick up the phone when they do they hang up on you.. Porsha was the only pharmacy member that helped Everytime.. they Never have my medication in stock on the day I am supposed to get it..Ibrehim that works at night is a lazy unhelpful most inconsiderate pharmacist that hangs up on you.. stay away from this cvs at least because you will have the same issues and Im done with all cvs though.
A 3rd time of hearing Your doctor never requested the refill. But I walk in with the copy of the order with CVS info and confirmation of receipt. Since CVS computer system is so ragedy Ill go with Optum Home Delivery. You lost 3 customers over the SAME problem FOR OVER A YEAR! Id rather get my meds from a street corner pharamacist than CVS anymore. #angry
