The owner is such an amazing guy and getting to know him this last year or so I pray that he gets as much business as possible because hes so wonderful so patient and during the pandemic I watch how he treat people and how clean he kept the place and he has wonderful people that work for him but the owner is a very special person very kind-hearted and professional I wish I could afford to eat them more LOL also just seeing/ remembering I reviewed here before, it was a waitress that was really rude to me, only reason my first review wasnt as good as it should have been 😉

First time here. Always looking for a great all day breakfast menu and they knocked it out of the park. Husband had the wings, though small for his preference, still devoured them and loved the heat that it came with it. Will come again soon. On vacation for a few days.

Great Conneticut Diner! Good food - very friendly staff!They have a Greek Baker who comes three days a week to create his magic with the desserts. No small servings here - try the Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Lemon Mousse Cake! You will take a piece with you! Light as a feather! Who is this Pastry Chef? KUDOS!

If possible I would rate this diner 0 stars. Always a issue with food every I time I buy here. The open faced turkey sandwich I ordered for take out was cold and there was no gravy or cranberry sauce in the bag which I asked for extra gravy. It was a piece of bread with cold turkey on top very disappointed every time ..I don’t plan on ordering from here again

Burger i ordered medium but was cooked well however the curly fries are excellent. Fairly priced also. Burger and fries is 10 and 3 pancakes are 5. The waitstaff is friendly and curteous.
I had previously given a 3 star review on the second owner, now this is the third owner and little by little have been making this diner a nice place to eat. the staff is very attentive, the food is also enjoyable and the prices are fair
It was open late.Nice looking place.Our waiter with the tattoos was cute and very nice.Knocked off 2 stars for the food.The stuffed chkn needs work. Seasoning is essential and not just the paprika atop it. It was dry... like... dry. You gotta add some kind of gravy to that chkn.Prime rib - dude - SALT and PEPPER.A1 shouldnt be an essential for a steak.At least add the au jus or something.My waiter though. *Heart eyes*Spinach pie and mozza sticks were delish!

I always have the (corned beef) hash when I go to a new breakfast spot. Elms is good. Clean, friendly, bright.
Breakfast meal portions are huge. Friendly and courteous staff. Great food and service. Has that small town friendliness vibe to it like you are family and not just another customer at a chain diner.

Ordered thru Uber Eats and everything was exactly as ordered. Food had great taste (especially the home fries), portions were spot on, and it was clear that they take care in their online orders. Will be back to try the next meal!

This is probably the second or third time Ive been there except for 20 or 30 years ago. The food is quite nice I had some sort of steak. They have a special that comes with dessert salad full dinner and I believe a drink for a very reasonable price. The food is fresh and I could not believe this spinach worst actually the fresh sauteed with garlic and oil. It was baby spinach so it tasted absolutely delicious. The squash was also meet fresh. Obviously they had to cook a 4 hours but it was todays vegetable. The people were very friendly the waitress was extremely friendly and a very nice woman. Overall it was a pretty nice experience. I went there for five both times or maybe even the third time but it wasnt over busy and wasnt slow. You can get in and out with a reasonable price in a pretty damn good meal. I highly recommend it. For a small place is very surprising

Small local diner with a nice staff and very clean.The service was very fast and efficient. I wasnt crazy about their french toasts but the egg quesadilla was really good.I had the energy quesadila with avocados and tomatoes and i can say that all the ingredients were really fresh. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.
Talk about a breakfast of Champions wow the portions and food quality are spot on good flavors the service was very good very tentative and the food came out fast and hot first time eating here and it wont be last.

Was here for breakfast on a Sunday. Food was good. However the service we received from our specific waitress was not. We waited long compared to other clients arriving after us just to take our beverage order. When taking our food order, our waitress was rushing us and said to hurry because she had many other clients. Will maybe try it again because of the food.
Since the new management Im loving this place more than ever. i used to hate it and the food used to suck. now i like the food better. its fresher and theres a bigger slightly different menu. cudos to them

I live near here, and so I guess you could say I’ve eaten at this diner more than a few times. Their experience is always consistent; pleasant service & freshly prepared food, generously proportioned. I love that they even have a rewards program for frequent fliers!

Ive been coming here for years! I visit when I see my grandparents 😁 Were often most pleased by the service provided. The waitresses are very attentive and vibrant, and very nice! My niece always laughs when we visit, and I hope to be back very soon!

Very good visit. Just a had a cinnamon twist and coffee. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The Twist was gigantic, sliced, toasted and served with butter. It cost $6.37 plus tip. Not cheap

I would never go back here again my breakfast came out to $11 for 2 scramble eggs 1 piece of fish and grits. That was my first and last and the fish tasted like it was microwaved. Im good on this place
We were frequent flyers at Elm diner before the new ownership. Last night my bf ordered an open roast beef and I ordered the seafood over pasta. Both meals were terrible! The roast beef was the color purple and the seafood dinner was spicy hot. We called the manager over and she said the seafood dinner is a spicy dish and although it didnt say spicy on the menu it was basically my problem and i couldnt change my order. My bf hardly ate his dinner because it didnt look or taste good. The manager did give us a 10 percent discount off the bill. The desserts were very good as usual. Both of us are very disappointed ☹️. Generally if you are dissatisfied with a meal you can return it, and thats the proper way to keep the customer happy, but in this case they didnt. $40.00 bill including a 10 percent discount is not something I would rant and rave about!!
