I have never eaten anything as bland and tasteless in my life as this kind of salad with minced beef on top, totally lacking in flavour, which they dare to call Fajitas de ternera, when it is the furthest thing from that dish I have ever seen. The sauce they put on top is the most tasteless and insubstantial thing I have ever eaten in my life, of course no salt, no vinegar, no oil, nothing ...., I wonder if the kitchen staff or the manager of the place ever deigned to try the food they serve?. I do not recommend this place at all if you want to eat something decent and that leaves you satisfied.

The drinks offering is truly great and the burgers are some of the best the city has to offer. Smack dab in the middle of downtown its a great place to have an after office or just meet with friends before heading out to the cinema.

The place is wonderful, very well decorated. Waiters are nice and they have a ton of different beers, although I was missing some of the most populars from Spain, but that happens in all Vienna. This place is for burgers, other things from the menu are also ok, but their point are burgers, and they have a great special price at lunch time

5 stars for their wonderful service. The waitress who waited us on Thursday 17/06/21 was exceptional. I believe her name is Sofia/Sophia. She made our experience that night so special and overall memorable. She deserves a raise!

Good food and a lot of beer options. If you like rafaelo chocolate try coconut beer. And if you like bitter IPAs then I would suggest Ohara Irish Pale Ale. Also, double hop beer (crazy Sultan) is a good beer.

Nice vibe and good selection of beers (and ciders) on tap. They also serve my favorite veggie burger in Vienna (Smokin Hot Hippie - vegan) with great fries. The non-veggie burgers are apparently pretty good too and there are lots to choose from.

Finally a place with truly funky and experimental crest beers that you can but in small sizes (0.2l) - when testing beer, i do not want to go through massive amounts per beer. Veggie burgers were great, but the fries were kinda meh.

They have great selection of craft beers from different countries. You can also create your tasting selection from the beers on tap. My burger was tasty but we did not like the beef fajita bowl. Staff was helpful. One of the best beer places in Vienna.

Large variety of crafted beers. Ive been looking for such a place for a while and i am glad i found it. They also have a happy hour from 11-3 pm, every day. Totally worth to come eat a delicious burger and try one of their crafted beers. Also the 6 beers 0.1L is worth.

Thr selection of food maybe limited, but they have a huge choice of locally brewed beer. The salads were nice and festive, lots of fries with your burger. But the beat part was that with your meal you get a free beer of your choice. But since three of us were not drinking, the fourth person got not one, but four beers. It was determined by the amount of food we oredered. Nice quiet location and the one who drank the beer said it was very good!

We had visited Vienna during new years eve and went to this during our central area views. I must say the burger here amazing. We ordered a chicken burgers and it was delicious also we ordered some craft beers in the drinks and could say it was quite nice.This is an overall amazing place to be however, I felt like it to very crowded and noisy else would have given 5 stars easily.

Their beer flight was superb! Quickly learned that their Belgian mango beer on tap is one of my new faves! 😍 Also had a wonderful schnitzel with sweet potato fries that was a winner. Came back again the next night, as it we were over all odd the standing-in-lines that is Vienna, and knew we could get a table here with a smile and less than a 5 minute wait, despite it being packed. Super highly recommend!

A cosy diner and bar. Excellent selection of beers, both for the experienced beer lover and the beginner. Warm, friendly and helpful servers. Great service. Only minus are the lavatories, which are a bit shabby.

Delicious beers on tap (I especially enjoyed Belgian Delirium Tremens) for surprisingly good price for a city center, nice food and perfect service (friendly, yet unobtrusive). A thoroughly pleasant experience which definitely made Mels one of my favorite Vienna places.

Nice relaxed atmosphere for a burger and beer joint in the first district. Their burgers are of fantastic quality, great taste and reasonably priced (pictured is their Jameson BBQ burger, which falls apart if you ever put it down but also you won’t want to put it down before you devoured all of it).Obviously the beer selection at Mel’s is a prime reason to visit. Literally hundreds of beers to choose from, local and international variety, with lots on tap as well. Service can be a bit slow during rush hour, but always friendly and accommodating of special wishes and recommendations.If you are a group of more than four, I’d suggest coming in a bit earlier at dinner time, as no reservations are being taken. Or just make use of their fantastic lunch offer: any food item and side with any small beer or cider on tap for €10 - hard to beat in this location!

Big range of beers. Nice interior, in the city center. Place where you can sit with friends and have a nice evening. Staff is nice and helpful. If you dont know what beer you want they will help you find your taste.

There is a huge selection of both draught and bottled craft beers. It is more of a restaurant than a bar (table service, serious food, though nibbles are also available).

Where can I start from?! The staff are friendly, and provided great recommendations, the location is great with nice outdoor seating. We ordered the double burger and man I felt like I’m in man vs food challenge (I won if you wonder). Delicious food and great value.

Recent expat arrival to Vienna and I got a bit homesick for what Id consider to be some gastropub style food.Up until this point I havent been terribly impressed by the beer selection. Mels has an excellent selection of taps and my server had some killer recommendations based on my preferences.The burger was fantastic as well. Will definitely be coming back. This made me a little less home sick.

Good food and a big variety of craft beers

Probably the most extensive craft beer (and ale and cider) list in Vienna, the burgers are also superb. The only negative is there is no cooling inside so in hot weather only the outside seating is viable, the interior is just too hot!

Just sharing the experience from last night and compliments to the ladies who kept calm and still took care of the app. 30 guests... We could see they were in shock but they did all they could to keep us guests calm as well. Will definitely be back - hopefully next time to a more quiet evening.
