Truckers it’s basically first come first serve. Check in and back into dock. Only takes dock associate 20min to offload so they moves fast here. Truckers try to get load delivery before Friday because it can get very congested

8 hrs and counting to deliver 2 rolls of paper. Cannot get in recieving dock, they disappear, apparently recieving doubles as production. Two roll recieving docks, one is busted. One of those recievers like Amazon where you cannot rest because you are constantly pulling up to keep your place in line. No good phone # . Reciever is on our no pull list now.

Loads are preloaded and a quick in and out, roll stock deliveries are live unloads and can take hours. Staff is polite and helpful. Be sure to ask for an ETA if your load isnt ready yet. Megacarriers, my advice would be to not disconnect from your trailer until you have your paperwork. If your load isnt ready, the yard crawler may have already moved your empty from the drop spots, leaving you to hunt it down or bobtail somewhere else for a new empty if you get your dispatch changed. If you do drop and decide to wait for your load to be ready, bobtail parking is between the employee parking gate and the light pole. Johnnys Pizza House nearby delivers to this location if youre hungry, and waiting for a load to be ready.

I work there. They are safety ordinated. I havent heard anything about a injury. GP is a paper mill. Very interesting to watch the process.

Roll stock receiving is 0700 - 1500. No one to unload after that unless someone becomes available. Company sent for 1700, got lucky someone unloaded at 2100. Staff is great.

Checked in 1am Saturday morning. Its now 5pm Sunday. Still no call. Neither GP or broker will answer the phone. Ridiculous

They ok I guess. There machine went down so I had to wait 10 hours to get loaded but the broker gave me some more money on the load so I cant complain.

Always is complicated on this place, the load is not ready or cancelled etc. the only good thing is parking overnight if you have the load.updates:07-30-2021: this time was a drop and hook, everything was ok but! if you are a swift driver they maybe send you to another location (attached) for the pick up, so I will give them 2 start at this time. (make sure have a pencil)

They will have you waiting for hrs and this is stuff they need and ordered. Its sick they dont cate about drivers

Stay empty, better then coming here. it is always gamble will load be ready or not. sit empty if you can find something else

Long hours to get loaded or they cancel without any notice the reason is because their machines break down alot so don’t count on these guys especially before a holiday to get you back home there useless as a 24hr warehouse and no public restrooms either just 1 garbage portal potty

The delivery area for roll stock is a little on the tight side. But it is definitely manageable.

They have to inspect your trailer before you can get unloaded. You have to wait through a long line of trucks to get your trailer inspection. Thats all I need to say you know the rest

I arrived at Georgia Pacific too delivered load of Big Paper roll at 1145 am. But from some reason I didnt get unloaded until after 2300. And I got hours before my appointment time. Clearly Georgia Pacific have no regard in how too treat Truck driver that delivered and pickup at some of their facilities.

I have been here for mor than 6 hours and they have not loaded my trailer yet. They are the worst place I have ever been.

Tiny, cramped little place right next to a neighborhood. Only two docks but ofc one is broken 😆. They take a long time to unload unless you get here right before they close, IME. Unloaders here are good people & seem to do the best they can for what theyre working with

I read some of yalls reviews b4 coming here and I took a chance in getting here at night instead of my daytime Appt. I was in and out in 20mins. Forklift driver stopped what he was doing and took care of me

This plant is committed to safety and since the installation of new machines, this plant is extremely efficient. However, the trucking entrance really sucks. The whole shipping and recieving truck yard is crowded and dangerous. But other than that, a good plant as far as I can tell

Slowest place ever. Took an hour to get to trailer inspection. Usual time to load is about 5 hours. Never be back. Anyone who gave more than 1 star is probably a local driver or employee.

My appointment was scheduled for 7pm they running slow I won’t be loaded until 7am

They can unload you at any time of the night during the night shift. Once you hit the dock they snatch it from you quickly. If theres no truck in the roll stock dock, just break the seal if any and back in theyll come for the ppwk whenever.

If your delivering paper rolls be prepared to wait for hours. And I mean hours

Messed up place. No proper management. Came here st 3:20pm.Still here at 8:18pm. May be another two to three hours for Unloading. No bathrooms other then a stinky potty pot. This place doesnt have overnight parking. First come first serve policy in place. Appointments not necessary. Come and park in a waiting line. That can work as overnight parking. Unloading done at 11:48pm.

Terrible traffic management upon entry and exit to plant for trucks. One of those old plants that had residential and commercial pop up around it and could desperately use the extra space to ease the truck traffic problems. Expect not only detention, but also layover when coming to pick up a load.

This is the slowest place to off load in US history...makes NO SINCE..2 HOURS WAITING FOR 1 TRUCK TO OFFLOAD..10 hours later..I was still there..Nice detention pay but Danger

I’m a driver and was given a 2pm appointment for delivery and it is now nearly 6pm and the same truck is waiting in the dock since I arrived! The workers here are lazy and slow. No one knows how to get in touch with the receiver after 3pm us drivers are losing money sitting here for hours. They have no bathroom but a portapot sitting in the sun which is nothing but a hot box that stinks!! I’ve never been treated like this without any regard from any receiver or shipper!! Not only that but NO ONE ANSWERS THE DAMN PHONE!!!!! Completely unacceptable people. If I could move these paper rolls myself I’d open my doors and push all 10 of them out!!!!!😡🤬

Nice people but man are they slow to unload. I give 2 stars for the slowness & *terribly* narrow truck entrance

Wow! Got here three hours before appointment time and they got me unloaded less than 30 minutes !!!! The only drawback is that parking is limited and is very tight!
