Despite being completely swamped with customers and my printing project not being the easiest to manage, Glenn and his associate were incredibly patient, diligent and kind throughout the whole process, ensuring that my needs were met. The result was truly beautiful printed material that I honestly dont think I would have achieved for the price or service at a typical print only shop. Thank you, Glenn!

Worst return policy ever. Asurion protection is useless!! Bought a printer for about 600 dollars and I have not been able to print more than 10 pages. For months I have tried to return the printer or get someone to fix it with no success. When I call customer service they told me to take the printer to the store where I bought it, I carried the heavy printer to the store on 2 different occasions, the management told me customer service lied to me!! I called asurion, they told me to call customer service!! Never ever again, will I buy any expensive equipment from Staples or get asurion protection!!!

Its a Staples....ya ever been to a Staples? Well, its like that. They have various office supplies arranged on shelves which you can exchange currency for! Its amazing if youre never seen one before. If there were only some place you could buy that stuff without leaving your home but thats just nonsense.
Was there to print something the rep / customer service was no existent I was in a hurry the personal took her sweet time with a very unprofessional attitude talking to a coworker wasting whiles I was waiting even taking my money was a chore to her . Hopefully it was one of those days for her . And I really wanted to tell her to have a blessed and wonderful day but I didnt only Because it might be a chore for her to do that . I now know why I stopped patronizing them .Well u give credit where credit is due i stopped by this week @ the printing dept, there was a gentleman (older) . He was exceptional with his customer service skills he attended to every customer promptly assisted every one on the printer so as to be capable of doing stuff by yourself and went about his business he was not overwhelmed was not rude, I wish i could remember his name n give him a shout out but on my next printing trip shd i see him i would sure ask his name upgraded to 3☆☆☆
Shopping and getting services done at this Staples is pleasure. Glenn, the floor manager is extremely helpful with your requirements. Visited the store on two separate occasions for fixing a phone and then a getting a printer. Both cases, Glenn went out of his way to accommodate and meet my requirements. Very helpful and caring. The boy at the check out counter could use some motivation though, was a bit slow and disconnected in his check-outs
I give 5 stars for the amazing team they have here at the staples in west orange. I came in today to purchase ink and a few minutes in the door and I started having some stomach pain (I am pregnant but nothing serious) Nick saw me in a little pain and called Bob to assist me right away because he was the only person on the register. Bob came immediately got me what I needed and jumped on the register to help cash me out and get me on my way. People are not as accommodating and caring as these two guys were today. I am so happy to see that there are still good people in retail . Thank you so much Nick and Bob for your outstanding service.
Sometimes leaving an 1 star rating because of one employee, is kind of ridiculous! This store do not need a 1 star rating.. I was doubtful at first when I saw those reviews, nevertheless when I went into the store, I was greeted with a different atmosphere compared to how it was rated! Service was speedy! And prices where a bang for the buck! Definitely going there again! 😊😊..
I had a great experience at their copy and print center, my company needed a last minute rush job yesterday, and they were able to accommodate us, they did a great job, it was very professional looking. I have to say I was impressed. Hopefully Staples West Orange, NJ will look at this review and see people do appreciate their work. A special thanks to Esther for all of her hard work.
This staples handles all of my small business needs. Anything I want printed, laminated, or showcased they will do for me in a hurry. I appreciate them a lot and wanted to write this to offset the neg reviews.
I ordered my item online with the anticipation of it being ready for pickup in an hour. I arrived at the store an hour and a half later. No associate had bothered to look for my item. I had to wait while the associate searched up and down the aisle. Meanwhile other associates were discussing their disdain for their schedule and using language that was inappropriate for the work place. Given the fact that my item was not ready for pickup at the designated time, I was late for an appointment. I was happy that the item was in stock.
Today I came here and the debit card machine was down. I was told I can use Apple Pay. I attempted to pay with Apple Pay and it did not work so an employee told me to use a credit card I used the credit card and it did not work. My fiancé asked if we can leave the items so we can find an atm the employee said yes. I returned to the store where my items were in a bag the employee that help me just stared As I stood there with my daughter. You need to teach your employees to be respectful to customers I asked an employee a question and she said WHAT. Very rude. I walked out and I will not return to this store.
I go here often to work. I am normally very quick because I know what I am purchasing and then head back to work. The staff seems very nice.Professionally, it almost doesnt exsist. The most recent time I was there, a girl was wearing a crop top and did not look professionally dressed for the store. The same girl unprofessionally complained about her headphone being stuck in the register and her phone out. She asked the manager to open the register and he didnt move as quickly as she wanted, so aggressively asked again. The manager said to keep her headphones out of the register, and she replied with the register should stay away from her headphones. For this situation, she should not have her phone out on the counter and be using headphones while working. Thats just my opinion at least.Same day, another employee was unprofessionally asking to go on break. Feeling ignored, she stated that she would just walk out. With the manager right there, he lowly asked her what she was saying. Pretending not to listen or care.Staff also likes to communicate across the room. Multiple occasions, they just yell at each other. Whether it is work related or personal conversation.Again, I go here often because it is the closest to my office. I just find it as one of the most inappropriate and unprofessional staples location I have ever been to.
I want to to take a minute and thank Brittany the Cashier for all her patience and customer service ... she really took the time to help us (Hispanic Firefighters Association Newark NJ) to purchase numerous school supplies to donate and distribute to children. Went there for toner, but the pricing was way high. The good part was the service we received. They helped us in the print center and were very nice.
The staff in the Copy Center have REMARKABLE attitudes considering the copy area is ALWAYS understaffed. I have literally had to go to the store manager and comment that they do not properly staff the area. He got more help on that visit to the store but in subsequent visits it is the same one person helping up to 8 waiting customers. The staff get 5 stars; the short sighted management however gets 1 star.

Basic Staples. Has everything you need. Also a copy and shipping center. The store emphasizes sales of computer and related accessory products. Soemtimes it is difficult to find more basic stuff. The store also seems short staffed. Its sometimes hard ro find help and there is always a line checking out but it has everything you would expect a Staples to have.
Id say shopping at this Staples was a pleasure. I went early evening so had the full attention of the staff. I got very good and candid advice on the item I was buying which was really appreciated.

Horrible customer service. Stood in line at the copy center yesterday for an eternity. I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN LINE. The girl behind the counter saw me and said nothing. She was working on something. THEN, after a very long time, she said Ill be with you in a minute. It was another FIVE MIN. During that time, two other Staples employees came over to her and they were chit chatting about personal stuff. UHG... horrible store. In case Staples cares and reads this review... this happened at approximately 10:20 am on 4/27/18. I should have looked at her name tag.

I brought a chair for my dad for Fathers Day about a week before and had them put it together. As I go back to pick it up I see they had it on sale for $150. less, so I spoke with manager and was able to get the difference. The only annoying part is they had to refund the whole money and then I had to buy it on another card. Didnt understand why I couldnt just get credit for the difference. Needless to say the transaction was done and my dad is happy with his boss chair. lol The staff was great.

I purchased today 4/24/2016 from Staples in West Orange a NuVision 7 Android 50Lollipop Tablet and I offered it as a gift.I felt embarrassed when I was told that the tablet was previously used, in fact it was still protected by the password entered by the previous owner, so it cant be used.Of course that I will return it, but who will compensate my time spent, plus the embarrassment of offering something used and useless as if it was a brand new product?The definition of a scam according to the dictionary: a dishonest way to make money by deceiving people.
I recently purchased a computer and some equipment from Staple. I had the pleasure of meeting Devonte and Gladys. They were very professional, courteous and professional. I was particularly impressed with Devonte because I dealt with him the most. Now if I could just get my computer to work it would be ideal.

The staff at this particular store are clueless. Not only that but they told me to fax an 8 page letter from new Jersey to Ohio was going to cost me $38 dollars and some change. When I flipped our they told me it was because of the long distance charges. Lmfao. I found a friends house to fax it from instead. Staff here is also rude on top of moronic. On the bright side of things if you have the i.q. of a flea, and are unemployed, apply at Staples Im West Orange, youll fit right in.

As another customer reported, this Staples store sells used products as if they are new. This store sold me a printer that had clearly been used and was defective. The printer had sticky stuff that had been splashed on the side as well as paper in the paper tray--one piece of paper had handwritten notes on it. The USB port was also missing--just a hole, no port. Shame on the store for selling used and defective products and claiming they were new!!! Now I know why the guy at the cash register really tried to hard-sell us the store-bought warranty. And, as the other customer said, what a waste of my time.
The prices are very high, but I got some notebooks on sale as low as 50 cents on clearance. I needed post it tags they were as much as $15 I went to the Dollar tree next door and racked up instead!

The employees there were horrible. Costumer Service has gone out the window. It was basically find it yourself. The cashier was on the phone and after I paid, she took the receipt, balled it up and threw it in the garbage. Wow I will never go there again.
