Do not be fooled by the benign exterior. This place is IT! Not only is there a wine room inside of this wine store... there is tasting room with a wonderfully erudite Chef on duty to pair any beverage you may find interesting. I had the pleasure of speaking with The Man In Charge at length about various wines. Mr. Mahesh is so knowledgeable and graciously allowed me to pick his brain. Never once did I feel rushed or pesky. I relaxed and enjoyed a small plate and a lovely Overture tasting.I will be back again and again!

I’ve been buying drink from here for 3 years already and the staff was okay before but today the cashier who i saw for the first time was not quite “ friendly “ i walked in said hello as usual she ignored it which is fine, and then she would just ignore my questions which was also fine with me but when i got home I realized that she didn’t put an item that i paid for in the back and neither the receipt that she was supposed to give me.

They have a wonderful selection of wines liquors and beers.. went in for something specific and enjoyed browsing through the rest of the store. Didnt have the time to check out the wine and spirits bar that is attached.. will definitely be going back

This is one of the best wine stores in the area. Their prices are cheaper compared to other stores nearby. More so, they offer you the convenience of shopping carts and you dont have to carry your bottles under your arms... certainly worth a visit...

We encountered a long wait at a nearby BYOB restaurant and wanted to grab a drink while we waited. We decided to stop into the bar at Wine Legend because it was the closest spot in walking distance. We weren’t sure what to expect (a bar in a liquor store?) but we were pleasantly surprised. It’s a cute bar setup that on a Friday evening was relatively crowded. Service was attentive andYou can purchase small bites. They also have pre-set menus on certain nights of the week.For a small location, there’s a decent selection of bubbly. If you’re looking for craft beer options, this is not your place; variety is limited.

This is truly a terrific store if you like classy wines. They have all price ranges and even a bottle of $11.99 is absolutely delicious. This is now my favorite wine store to shop in. The staff, are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about wines. This is a lovely boutique wine store which is truly a pleasure to shop in. Come and experience it for yourself!

Great place to sample and grab wine. They sell a reasonable variety of beer and many liquors as well. There is a small tasting room with a menu of professionally prepared small bites. Met the owner, and its clear he cares about getting the customer what they want.

Management was extremely friendly. A great help and the bar is very clean and a lovely place to just relax and have a calm time with friends. Wide selection of alcohol. Overall a lovely place and lovely employees

Sitting at the Bar and enjoying my favorite macallan scotch. Amazed by their scotch selections at the bar. A wonderful view of the wine cellar they have from the bar. Most importantly the prices are incredibly cheap.

Omg too funny to the guy who rates one star and will now drive to South Orange to shop because the cashier didnt add the extra penny to make his change an even quarter... I think the gas to travel from WO to SO is more than one cent. Anyway, this place is cool, super helpful staff, lots of options and tastings at the bar is a unique experience.

This place has an wine tasting Bar. The customer service skills is a 5 star . The place is extremely clean .

Staff is extremely friendly, huge selection of wines . And love there tasting list! Place is very clean . If they can add a kitchen for some finger food or even open a restaurant!

Food and wines are fantastic (the spaghettini en cacio Pepe was to die for) and the owners knowledge is incredible.

If heat spoiled wine is your desire RUN to Wine Legend!You wont be disappointed!

My purchase came to 11.76. I gave the cashier, a white woman who I assume was an owner, a twenty and she actually gave me 24 cent instead of just chalking up the penny and giving me a quarter. Ill be going back to Wine Emporium on Valley Street and First in South Orange from now on.
