My 5 star rating is waning; whether it tanks down to a 2 on Monday, the 18th of October, depends entirely on how the company chooses to handle an unfortunate circumstance involving a specific power tool that, while past the 45 day window since purchase for a return, suffered a catastrophic failure after approximately 20 seconds of operation.The failure potentially couldve caused severe injury, not only to me but to bystanders and passers-by alike

This company sends many advertisements to my email with misleading offers for discounts that feels like a bait and switch. When challenged on their discount offers, their attitudes seem to become anti customer service. I even called their regional office and the person answering the phone said that he can see why I think the adds are bait and switch, then he hung up on me. There are other options out there for discount tools that are not playing these games, I suggest that you find one and stop wasting your time at Harbour Freight Tools. I visited the West Palm Beach store on Okeechobee Blvd.

Checked online to see if item was in stock. amazing that they either sold out or never had the item to begin with... waste of time, gas and the high risk of exposure to COVID... hardly anyone had on a mask! smh

I was on the hunt 4 something particular, and I had not been inside the Harbor Freight Tools store before, so I went in to see what they had on sale. I didnt find what I was looking for, but I did find some cool things with which to decorate my rooms come springtime. Just for example, a parachute hammock to hang in a corner as an extra chair or some battery-operated remote controlled copper wire lights that can pretty much be used anywhere--splayed out on a table or perhaps clustered together inside a clear glass bowl as a nice little centerpiece anywhere you choose to place it. Youre limited only by your imagination as to what you can do with some of these items. Or if they have one in stock, you might want to check out a mini blow torch that you could perhaps use for your own homemade creme brulee. Thank you, Harbor Freights, for an interesting experience. Its very much appreciated.

I just need a place that can answer a few questions. Provide a decent tool to use for my DIY and save me the headaches. Knowledgeable staff, organized store and the prices are worth it for Do It Yourselfers!

This is like any typical Harbor Freight when it comes to the products on the shelves however, the personnel seemed more knowledge and helpful then the other ones I have shopped in. They were communicated with each other and quickly loaded my truck. They took care not to damage my vehicle or my new products, they even tried to upsell me some additional ratchet straps. :)

My husband and I love Harbor Freight Tools They always have what he is looking for and needs for his profession the employees are very kind polite efficient and and their customer service is impeccable. We will continue to be customers of Harbor Freight Tools.

I love this place. I mean who doesnt love buy tools for a fraction of the price of what other places sell them for ? Everything from flashlights to air tanks and digital calipers... my only problem, is the cash register experience. When youre in a hurry, the cashier isnt really trained to read your temperament, and get you moving along expeditiously. Theyre trained to ask questions and keep you buying more . Other than that, great place to shop for EVERYTHING...

Harbor Freight has some great deals. Be careful though... I bought a plastic container full of different size bungee cords. The first time I used one of the small ones the end came off and hit me in the eye. Very dangerous. Not recommended.

Online ordering is a joke. They cant Ship most everything and if they can, orders are not filled but you are charged for it! Absolute joke for online orders. And try to get ahold of a real person. Good luck.

Good place to find cheap parts

Nobody beats their prices and they have tools that you cant find anywhere else..(example= I was looking for a 4 inch belt sander in West Palm Beach and Harbor Freight was the only one that had it.) Download a Harbor Freight coupons app and you wont need the sale Flyers anymore also much easier at checkout!Plus they have awesome flashlights!

Great tools for the budget-minded handyman! Picked up a drill and come-a-long at really good prices because of Memorial Day sale and got a free handheld light for free. Personnel are always helpful and pleasant.

Probably my favorite store. Obviously some things are hit and miss but generally its well worth it to go with Harbor Freight. The hand tools are surprisingly good quality. Im a professional technician and have rarely had issues and you cant beat the lifetime warranty they have. Would be nice if they had more variety in hand tools and more complete tool sets though. I see that theyve been adding to their inventory though.

Decent prices but you have to be careful what you buy. Theyve been recently changing their return policy on Troublesome items, which equals you buy it & it breaks THAT day and they wont refund or exchange it.Either sell a product you can stand behind or hire extra help for the return/exchange line. Nobody wants to waste their $.

One of the best harbor freight on the east coast.. Friendly and PROFESSIONAL employees that a will to help you above and beyond.. The store offer low prices on many items. Please keep in mind if your a professional theres no substitute for some stuff made by top manufacturers.. But if your a DIY person u cant go wrong with most of the stuff

First time shopper. I called to verify the item I wanted was in stock and was told it was and the isle in which to find the item. I thought that was a nice touch and very helpful.When I arrived at the store 20 minutes later I was greeted by the same young lady that answered the phone. She was pleasant and greeted me with a big smile. I was able to quickly find my item on isle 3 as advised and back to the register to check out. The cashier remembered me when she saw my item and was very enthusiastic with my transaction. She signed me up for coupons in the mail (I love coupons). If I had to go to a big box store like HD, it would have taken me 30 minutes to find what I needed and I was in and out at HF in less than 5 minutes. I will be back to this store in the future.

The employees lack customer service. Also, beware that batteries and chargers for cordless tools are sold separately. Once purchased all together you could have got a name brand tool at a lowes or home depot. So, it really isnt less expensive than the big name stores.

You can purchase equipment for a fraction of the price which is enough to get any hands-on female or male to actually go in an take a peek; the service is exceptional, the only discrepancy I have is that a few of the employees need to have some form of know how or knowledge to try to assist better (not all employees their fall into this category) but other than that service is up to par to keep you wanting to comeback and explore. #Greatjob

Harbor Freight has many different tools at very good prices for just starting out Harbor Freight is the best and even being and landscaping for 20 years I still go to Harbor Freight I love this selection they have and they have everything you could possibly imagine and then some and their prices are unbeatableand if they happen to not have what you need they will call a store that has it and will bring it to you! Im a landscaper of lemons Landscaping and I go to Harbor Freight 4 days out of the week just to get different stuff for jobs that I need and to save on cost

I went in to buy a transmission jack for over $300. I had a 20% off coupon which clearly says it excludes FLOOR JACKS . When I questioned it at checkout I was told the coupon excluded ALL jacks. I think this needs to be stated more clearly on the coupons. Not to mention this is not the first time I have had an issue at this store with a price mix up. I am a ITC member and think they should have honored the coupon. Very disappointed.
