They had the 2 bolts I needed for a ridiculously aged machine. They dont carry metric bolts, but have a variety of standard sizes. New favorite hardware store.

Horrible follow up service. Would rather pay more for better and more reliable service somewhere else.

Today was my 1st time at Sewell and I was very impressed! The store was clean, well organized and the staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience!

Service has certainly gone down hill the last few years. Twice in a week I’ve tried to patronize them despite them being more expensive than Amazon and more expensive than online competition that offers free shipping + no tax. First item I called for they told me goodluck no one has it in stock until next year just get on our order list…three days later it was at my house free shipping. Then I called and was told “sir you seem to know more about these than we do” because all of them chatting couldn’t piece together what model they actually had in the store. Worst still is making factually incorrect states like “there’s only one model” with utter confidence when a two-second search would show that’s not true. COVID this COVID that. Sure it’s difficult out there. But don’t expect my business when you can’t do yours. Wish you the best Sewell but I’m no longer a customer.

We had a complex lock application for a custom door that did not work. In working with the counter men they solved the lock problem at store level, resulting in a speedy installation saving weeks of re-order time. I was very impressed with their expertise, patience, and customer service. They will be my go-to Hardware needs from here on out.

Despite three or four people at the counter, I stood there for 12 minutes before someone said anything to me. I expected something like, How can we help you? Or We will be with you in a few minutes. but nothing. Once I was spoken to, the counter guy was helpful.

Asked a question on the phone about a part for my door and was left on hold for five minuets. Then the sales person came back and asked what was I looking for! Says he does not know about that and tells me he will give me to another sales person who then decides he is going to have a conversation with someone while I wait on the phone...really?

Best commercial hardware in the state. Mike Burns is one of the best with hard to find replacement parts. Rest of the staff is quality slso.

One of the oldest businesses in the city. Everything you ever need is there! Nice people too. ~V~

The men at the counter are never pleasant. They don’t welcome customers, ever.I’ve actually been in 10 times in the past 7 months and they had, cumulatively, one of 12 items I needed. They also never try to help or think outside the box to accommodate simple hardware needs .

Great place they have hard to find hardware, although they didnt have 2 1/4 flush head wood screws needed for chair cushions 2 to short and 2 1/2 to long Home depot or Lowes had them either on line for this one!
