2 Floors to look at, so go to the top before!!! This is the show room. and once you get stuff from the bottom floor, you can’t go upstairs, easily. there is an elevator, but it’s just a hassle to try and go bottom to top. There was a little computer information station where you put in the name of the furniture and it’ll tell you where to go to find it in the giant warehouse area. go during the week because weekends are PACKED. make time to get something from the cafe upstairs though: the food is great.

Who doesnt love Ikea? They have great pieces of furniture at affordable prices, its a great place to roam around and get decor inspiration, and you can get cinnamon rolls! I never regret going to Ikea. Plus. This location in particular always has clean bathrooms, the store is always in good order and the staff have always been friendly.

We had had a great time shopping, but we didnt have very many options, most of the bunk beds were out of stock. We did finally find a nice bunk bed at a good price. The shopping was all self-service. It took some doing to figure it out but we got it done. The downstairs checkout staff was very friendly. It was hard to find help upstairs, probably because there were so many customers shopping today. We were pleased when we finally got some help. We will go back and shop again, Lord willing.

Today our visit was nice, unfortunately no one greeted us but maybe due to the worlds current situation but oh well we had a good visit walking around there was a lot of areas being worked on so guess will wait til everything is completed so we can fully decide on our choices..Thanks for all those currently here and the working staff much appreciated!

Lots of good home furnishings at pretty good prices. A number of really fun accessories too.

I went to pick up an item after calling to confirm it was in stock. I drive there and the item is not in stock. Then I found a pair of bookends I needed in the discount section, priced at $6 vs the regular price of $9.99. The cashier (a blue-haired lady) rings it up as $12 because each of the bookends has a $6 sticker on it (since they were no longer in the package, they each needed a sticker). I show her the bookends priced at $9.99 on the IKEA website and explain that they should be $6 for the pair. She said sorry, I have to ring it up individually.

Its not high quality and you have to put it together yourself but if youre handy (or your husband is) and youre willing to do the work, you can save a ton! Cute room set ups upstairs in the show room so you can see how furniture and items will work in your space. Take photos of the tags so you can find it downstairs in the marketplace. Get there when they open bc it becomes a madhouse! Bistro food is affordable in case you work up an appetite.

IKEA always a goto place for furniture needs that requires graceful looks, bringing rooms/house together and comfort. Prices do range from reasonable to a hell no but thats subject based on everyones view.Remember to checkout the restaurant within, they offer comfortable food too.We have purchased rugs, beds, office table and chair(my fav), along with sprinkled set of coffee / low tables / chairs.

This place is freaking amazing like amazing its like a huge huge Maze of walking through some super fancy houses the rooms are decorated so detailed and well done I just loved it it was such a good experience and so much fun for me and my husband they have everything that you would ever need for your house seriously everything. I definitely will be going here again this store totally rocked My World! I got this tiny little end table Im then turning it into a art table for my child theres only 15 bucks and I was able to assemble it myself super easy no tools required.

I tend to stop by when Im in Sac. and theres always something for myself or someone I love that I just cant pass up for the price!

I m an Ikea junkie. I can never get out of this place without buying anything. At the very least the trip would be worth it for their meat balls. All the items present here are good bargains which look classy at the same time as well

This store is the typical Ikea, a lot of great European ideas and unique furniture. We did the walk through, but it seemed like a lot of it was as old out. 🤔 there was a lot of people shopping too.

Visited kitchen department... several people there were on verge of rude even when smiling, made us feel stupid even. Until one nice young man stepped up and helped us through the process even tho we didnt have an appointment to make sure we got everything planned out and ordered. Wish I remembered his name, he is reason I gave 5 stars... the cinnamon rolls alone also get a 5 from me .Ikea is like most places during the pandemic still out of stock of many things you see on the floor, lines are as usual long, but it was a Sunday.

I like their new pretzels, and their meatball, mashed potatoes, and cranberry dish. It was wonderful. They always seem to carry really good products for a very reasonable price.

We moved here from across country and had sold all of our furniture before leaving. We had savings and had planned to get all new everything from Ikea. We had about $5k for an entire apartment of furnishings. My wife spent half a day at Sacramento store and had a blast picking everything out. Took pics of all the labels, got ready to order. Lo and behold, more than 3/4 of the things she wanted were not available. Checked all the other branches in the area, same thing. So, wonderful store, pleasant environment, super nice staff... but I cant figure out what it is they have available to buy. We ended up going to Ashley and getting lot better quality furnishings, and, wow! It was all available!

The online stock is always off, it will say they have 75 of one item and then I get there and they have none and the guy tells me oh it just must be off because I also checked in the back store is relatively clean so Ill give 3 stars

I furnished a 2000 sqft house, put it on the back of my 1982 toyota pickup and only needed an allen wrench and a bottle of scotch to assemble it all.

My girl found some thing for our kids there she was more excited to be there we bought a kitchen set and a table with two chairs the set up to do it all was easy only thing I didnt like it was jus warm in there put AC on ..... We call still have to breathe thru masks... And also we bout the table mats and pots and pans

IKEA is a great place to go for all of your household needs! We love shopping here. So much different stuff to choose from. Everything from furniture to kitchen ware to rugs and decorations.They do have an area to drop the kids off to play while you shop if you would like. Personally I bring my kids through the store with me. They love it here too!I like how they have plenty of displays. Entire living room and bedroom set ups to really get a feel of what the furniture looks like.The cafe smells amazing. Even though I have never tried it I hear great things. I will definitely have to eat here on if these days.

If you need home ideas, this is the place to go. Just make sure youre ready to assemble something without a written description. If you know what you want, I would recommend buying it online for instore pickup, if thats an option. Otherwise you run the risk of it being sold out by the time you get to the store, and its a huge risk if its a popular item.

Great place to have lunch or just look at all the great assortment of goods. Plus they have great prices.

A quick run or a long stroll, IKEA is perfect for any errand required for home goods. In fact, it may be a great date location! Who doesn’t love day dreaming and being inspired by the lovely designs inside? Plus, the cafeteria ads a culinary touch. Obviously, it’s easy to be here for hours on end.

Who doesnt love just walking through this place. Love just getting new ideas.Customer service was a super big help. She helped me find the bed I was looking for as well the customer service help while as self checking out. Great people, very nice and helpful.

I went to Ikea for the first time.. and this place.. did NOT disappoint at all! So many things for your needs. Furniture appliances, decor, kitchen utensils, stuffed animals, you name they have it! So well coordinated also. Workers could be more friendlier, no one greets.. like at all. Either talking to other workers or just super busy. Place is huge, so please watch your children. Its a one way walk through the building, and I promise you, its worth it. Get everything you need for home here for a way better price anywhere.

Went for some hardy metal shelving and found some great things I didnt even know I needed! And their meatballs? Oh to die for! However be mindful not to stay inside past closing time, or you may actually die. The staff remain courteous throughout, but become more aggressive as that time approaches. Its also said one can get lost in its maze-like halls, and I feel I almost did. I swear the way out was a lot longer than I remember, like it was extending. And the self help zone felt more and more... oppressive as we made our way to checkout. Anyway, enjoy your stay and dont look down the employee hallways!

We ate at the restaurant and the food was cheap and good and the rooms of the store are cool they also have cool stuffed animals.

Im rating Ikea based on what it is-a superstore of inexpensive home goods. Ive been to several and am very fond of the West Sacramento store.They dont offer high end expensive furniture, but if youre after durable and inexpensive products, this is your store.Their lighting is excellent. I was an early adopter of LED lighting technology and Ikea doesnt disappoint in this category. Theyve managed a very warm light with their fixtures as opposed to the cold bluish cast many inexpensive LED lamps have.If youre a fan of the humble candle, they have great candles at low prices.Today we picked up a shelving system for a back room to store blankets and pillows along with some slick folding laundry baskets. We ended up grabbing spatulas, too. They have some with narrow handles for an easy fit in the dishwasher.This Ikea location is clean, easy to navigate and fun to visit.

Love shipping in IKEA...family friendly..and free cup is coffee for family members.

It wasnt busy which was great to shop amd eat. Unfortunately all three big items werent listed as unavailable but in the pick up area were gone! Disappointed.

Well first off it was incredibly hot out today. 106 degrees if Im not mistaken. My girlfriend was already nearby so she decided she could pick up my order for me! Usually I wouldnt let this happen because most do the time Ikea stuff is heavy! However, the site told me all I had to do was make sure I had space for the material in the car and Ikea would load it for us!Great plan! So much girlfriend arrived at Ikea checked in via the app and waited. Nobody came out for a while so she went inside and had to wait in a long line just to tell them she was here. Then they gave her the cart of two dressers and she had to wheel out the cart by herself and load it into her car. Like come on.... So shes struggling with the boxes and she told me several Ikea employees walked passed her as she was struggling and failed to ask if she needed help and walked away. This is unacceptable.You first failed to honor your loading policy which is one of the reasons I chose to shop online and your employees were not aware of a paying customers struggle and chose to run inside out of the heat. I regret to inform you that I cant do business with you again due to these issues. Please follow your policy and train your workers to be more aware.

Checked the availability of the item I wanted online before making the trip there. item was marked in stock. got there. could not find the item at designated location in self-service department. checked the availability of the item online again. still marked in stock. asked customer service. found out sold out items are updated out of stock only an hour later after purchase. waste of time. call customer service to check the availability of items for you before making an unnecessary trip there.

They have cheap stuff but its like a fun house maze trying to get through the whole store but it was alright and I was originally happy leaving the store until we got all the way back home an hour away only to find out they sell their bed slats separately which wouldnt of been a problem if the tags on the bed included that information. Now I have to waste another Saturday driving back to get it. Update: we went all the way back to be told the bed slats are out of stock. They should of put a sign up by the beds stating this. Now I have a useless bed taking up room and my son is sleeping on the floor. F ikea

Love this store. However they have to stop displaying things they dont sell. They had a number of lite fake windows with scenes people wanted to purchase but, item was only used to display curtains. Bad, bad IKEA! But love the store anyway.

Affordable furniture and wares for the entire house. Good cup of coffee for a dollar. Cafeteria. Virtually everything you install has detailed instructions on YouTube.

Its an Ikea, not much to say. Friendly staff, but make sure to check the inventory of the store online or by calling, like a lot of furniture / supply / lumber stores, theyre dealing with logistics and delivery issues (supply shortages). Make the trip worth it.On a side note, the carts they have are super annoying with the way theyve set up the checkout area. Those carts are designed to have all 4 wheels turn; that doesnt work well with the maze they set up at the checkout area, especially with heavy items on the cart.

First time to this monolith business. Went to help an elderly friend buy a couch. Wheelchairs available, super helpful staff throughout the store. Delivery arranged at the furniture pick up counter! Reasonably priced and very efficient.

Always a great experience. Bring your walking shoes though..two floors with lots of good stuff.

Pretty standard IKEA. Bought an as-is item and when a big part was missing, they let us take it off the as-is section for model. That was nice! Typical food, but a lot less of it than expected in the cafeteria. We were there in an off time, during Covid, though.

They were out of a lot of stuff, this not available, that not available. WTH, a lot of furniture unavailable or out of stock. Even their food court is out of a lot of food items. They had absolutely no desserts and salads. No cinnamon rolls down stairs, they closed early. ☹️

As always excellent displays showcasing what you can achieve with their merchandise. Wish some of their furniture pieces were of a higher quality, but you get what you pay for.

The best time to get here is at opening but its usual large, weaving concept breaks up the larger chunks of crowd. the veggie meatballs are the perfect substitution for their traditional swedish meatballs and you can even take some home!

I love the store and the concepts. Lots of very useful things and ideas. Restrooms might need some attention, but I am not complaining. Love the kitchen ideas.

Food court is pitiful due to covid..no drinks or water fountains. Disposable everything..the dump the logenberry sauce over the broccoli and into the gravy of the meatballs..so sad

I always like to go to Ikea just look around. The other day went there to buy specific items only to find that everything I went for was out of stock and most of the shelves for the little items were empty also. The lady in the store said that this was not common and that everything is sitting in container ships off the coast and that there is no one to off load the ship. Mainley do to the pandemic. You can t even order an item right now in this area. Sacramento calif. I was very disappointed in my trip there this time.

Between the European style restaurant and the maze you go thru at the showroom floor, it was fun.My wife was getting tired, we never been at the store and had a long drive getting there.We walked out of the store with most of what we were looking for, some of it was out of stock, and that was a pain.The girl in the showroom gave us a list of everything we needed to put together an Hemnes bedroom set.We went downstairs to the warehouse, grabbed a cart and picked up our furniture from the well marked isles.The only complaint I have is the carts, they have 4 wheel steering and can be a pain to maneuver.The food was also great at the restaurant, I loved my pulled pork sandwich.

I usually LOVE Ikea. But lately, they have been out of absolutely everything I go there to get. Even the items showing in-stock online, are temporarily unavailable. Even the food bistro is either closed, or is out of food. The cooks, just standing around doing nothing. I know were still recovering from the pandemic, but driving customers away wont help.

I wandered there for years searching for an exit. I finally found one...at least I think I did. As I sit in my room, I swear I can still hear the calm music and see a blue shirt out of the corner of my eye, but when I turn to look, theres no one there. I think I got out...but Im not too sure.10/10 all those years spent lost in their showroom, and I still never got tired of their meatballs!

The biggest issue facing the Ikea shopper is sensory overload-- and fear of spending the rest of your life there, trying to find your way out of the store.Actually things are laid out Iin a fairly logical manner, and there are frequent way maps posted. Its still a bit overwhelming.This time we went there on a single mission: find a 16 x 20 picture frame. Cheapest trip to Ikea ever!

Hurrah! The restaurant reopened. And we bought the nightstand I wanted.

Store was clean and very well handled by employees but they were out of stock for the item i chose. The worker helped me by giving me a time and date to return.

Low to no inventory on lots of items. Food court was closed, not sure why. A bit of a waste of an 1.5 drive one way to get there. I have finally learned my lesson to shop online first and only drive to pick up my order. My checkout person was very kind though.

I absolutely LOVE ikea! If I could afford to newly refurnish and redecorate my entire house, it would be fully 100% done with every bit of ikea products only!! I get lost here for hours! The only tiny issue is the very low number of items in stock. Ive had to redo that 1 & ½ hour trip many times due to this issue.

Ikea in West Sacramento CA was a good experience. I hadnt been in one in 20 years. The parking lot was full but the store didnt feel crowded. I used their Click & Collect program to pick up 2 Kallax cube shelving units. As soon as I texted in they brought them out to me... perfect! I was back on the road to Reno NV in minutes.

Thus IKEA had Samla items in stocks that stores around San Francisco did not. Shopping was quick and checkout went quick.

The store was clean, well-staffed, and had very creative displays. Unfortunately, I came to buy home office furniture. Apparently, so did everyone else before me. Literally dozens of desks, bookcases, storage units, and even inexpensive table tops were unavailable.I live in Sparks, Nevada now so this is the closest IKEA. Long drive for nothing.

Great place with lots of affordable products for home and family. They offer a lot of timeless pieces, like table wear and decor accessories. I personally really happy with the kitchen knifes, I bee using them for about 6 year now, and they worth every penny. Their cafeteria and play ground are my daughters favorite spots. You are allowed to leave a kid in a care for an hour while you browse the islands. I would suggest bringing your own shopping bags if you dont want to pay extra for one. Also open family membership, it is free and it will save you some money.

Id give it a 5 but they have been “out of stock” on nearly more than half of their furniture since the pandemic started. People have to stay home, we need to make the house comfy but alas ikea is only one large-already assembled dollhouse with no furniture for you to buy- only to look at!!! Ikea definitely not taking care of us this pandemic 😣sorry but have to call it like i see it😩

Amazing place but the current parking situation left my moms car with a dent because there was some pipes laying on a curb and yeah thanks for that :/
