I have been dealing with a few cars as well as car shops but I must admit this facility is forever now my facility. Anyone who ask me for a shop to my taste I’m definitely recommended my guys here. I love the energy and genuine understanding and conversation you can hold with anyone of their employees.They are very hard working but down to earth people, their test and work is very Thorough and complete. They explain and break down everything including work that you should look into for the proper care for your car. They are understanding and work with you. I was so impressed by my service I refused to let my boyfriend go anywhere else. Once he made it in the shop which was only a day after my visit of convincing my boyfriend was pleased to know that his girl could actually find a nice decent and presentable car shop. I have had 2 big jobs ( 1- replaced battery, alternator and starter, 2- replaced water pump and thermostat) done on my 2007 BMW and they fixed it without issues and their estimates and cost were right on and sometimes I paid a little bit less than the final quote. They also provided a ride to and from their shop. Im very satisfied with their work and their customer service. I give them an A+

Skilled labor isnt always cheap, but these guys will take care of you.They are open and helpful about repairs and costs and get it fixed without hassle.

So many mechanics have no morals. You want money but dont care about the people you service. No interity, no honor, no respect for people that need help. I couldnt get a quote because they want to diagnosis charge. I already got a diagnosis and they wont even give me a price to see if they are affordable. Not providing a general price for service seems dishonorable. I couldnt trust a new mechanic if they cant be transparent. The tone of the person on the phone was as if they dont need my business so I strongly recommend that you keep looking

I will not recommend this mechanic shop at all. They spent two days to diagnose my car but still were not able to fix or find the problem and then they asked me to leave it for the third day but I decided to go to Toyota dealership. Very unprofessional and expensive don’t even think to go there.

I had my car towed here from another shop thinking they will help me quicker since the first shop was closed. Turned out this shop was not a great choice. They are unresponsive. I had to keep calling them to follow up on the status of my car. I dont even think they really diagnosed it like they said they did cause they had no documents to prove they diagnosed it. I had to pay them for diagnosing my car so they release my car to be towed to a new shop. But wheres the paperwork showing they diagnosed it? Very poor customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

These guys were available on Saturday, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. They changed the oil but I had been told by Jiffy Lube that there was oil leaking into my engine. These guys fixed the check engine light and were kind enough to not charge us for the diagnostic since there was nothing wrong. Happy to have found a local mechanic since we just moved this corner of the world.

Our 2011 Acura MDX died as it pulled into Sac International. We live in Chico so towing it back was an option but we would’ve been out of pocket for part of it. I called two local shops who didn’t answer, and these guys were probably going to get my business just for answering the phone. As it turns out they were bright and knowledgeable, so I gave them a shot.All this was handled while were were out of town, and I wasn’t able to pick it up right away. Bottom line though: they diagnosed the alternator failure, already had it in stock because it’s a normal repair, and we were super happy with the price and service.Also, since we purchased this car used in 2014 the steering wheel has always felt weird to me. I’ve had two other people look at it and say it’s fine. These guys looked at it and told me what it was - I’ve since forgotten...either the drive axel or CV joint - but I brushed the repair off until now.Well I’m getting tired of the problem so I have coordinated a way to get it to these guys for repair this week. Yes, 100 miles is a long way to go for repairs but quality mechanics who work on specific cars are hard to find.Great guys, trustworthy, honest. I think they’re 100 worth trying out for Acura’s.

I have had all my families cars fixed at this location. I got a new Subaru and they have taken great care of it. Justin was very calm and listened to my needs of what I could afford and was more than willing to go above and beyond for me. I brought my daughter in and she was exhausted. He got me in quickly and drove me back to my house. When my car was done he picked me up and brought me back! Life saver for sure. My daughter also loves his dog that is at the shop.Over all great experience. Kristen was very knowledgeable in telling me what was going on with my car with each step! I received photos of the work that needed to be fixed as well before they repaired it.Best auto shop I have been too. I booked my car for an oil change, then they guys called me the following day they had to change it to another day. After a few days I brought in my car, the first thing the guy asked me to go get my millage. I was surprised and normally when you leave your car they will check the millage, but he asked me so I had to do it.When I asked for the shuttle service the guy told me sorry there is no one to give you a ride, we are busy and the shuttle guy is not in today so you have to make an arrangement for yourself. I was really upset because when I booked my oil change the guy told me, they will take me back no worries. After an hour I had to be picked up by a friend. After 3 hours when I picked up my car the floor mat was messed up with technicians greasy footsteps. When it came to payment I wanted to pay by credit card the guy at the counter said we will charge you 3% unless you want to by a debit card. I asked him, if they have checked the tire pressure, he said yes, but when I checked them at home they werent. This was absolutely terrible customer service and I would never take my care again to this shop. I will give them triple ZEROS... 000.

The hourly isnt cheap bit they get the job done right the first time so the peace of mind is worth the price in my opinion. Weve taken all of our cars to Advanced Auto for years. Theyre very friendly, reliable, and honest, telling us when something was really necessary and when we could wait a while to get it fixed. Even my wife is comfortable taking her car in by herself, and a thats just not true of most shops.

The technicians do a thorough job on my car and the customer service is always on point. I’m always greeted kindly and with care! The waiting area is clean and pleasant to wait in. Did a pre sale inspection and it came back with some work to do. Had them do the work I didnt want to do. Work was great. But what they didnt seem to find was a thermostat that didnt work. I thought ok cool easy fix... then my u joint literally crumbled a week after I got it out of the shop.... those are the two easiest things to detect when throughly inspecting the car. I wont come here for the inspections, Ill do that somewhere else. The work though, Ill come back for that.

Justin was very courteous and provided excellent customer service throughout. We drive a really obscure car (2006 Hyundai Azera) that was having issues that other mechanics could not quite seem to fix, however Justin and the team at Advanced Auto were able to quickly identify and diagnose the issues and provide clear and detailed information on them. They even offered free shuttle service for me after I brought in my car at the very end of business hours, which was so kind. To make it even better, they have a really sweet dog that will greet you when you enter.Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience.

The very next morning before opening the manager called me because he recognized my vehicle in the parking lot.I told him what happened and he said bring in the car keys to the shop.The staff quickly diagnosed the problem and had the vehicle supplied and fixed within less than 3-hours. I had no appointment, however I needed the car the very same day and they made it happen. Each time I make an appointment at Advanced Auto Center the staff are always courteous, professional and flexible. They give you personal service. They work with you and for you when it comes to your auto care. They provide details about your automobile throughout the entire repair process and they give you Advanced warning about potential problems down the road. As far as professionalism and customer service, Advanced Auto Center has these nailed!! They treat each person who walks in their doors like a valued customer and friend. They also provide a courtesy shuttle if you need to leave your car.I dont have long-term experience with them to know for sure their mechanical work is top quality, but I can say they explain everything thats going on with your car and provide pictures and reasonable advice as to what needs to be taken care of now and what can wait.

I trusted Advance Auto Center with all maintenance and repairs on my Ford Escape for 3 years and would for much longer if not for the fact that I am moving to Texas. Justin and Kristen have always been great at explaining issues and making sure I understand what work their mechanics are doing and why they are doing it.At one point I came in simply because my undercarriage had somehow come loose and Justin put in the extra effort calling around town trying to find the apparently uncommon bolt type that Ford had used. When a shop goes the extra mile for something that minor you know you can trust them with the bigger jobs.I always will HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone looking for a trustworthy place.I only hope I can find a shop half as good in Texas.

I came in to replace a part that i had recently bought from them before. They told me that the part i had bought previously was under warranty and replaced it for free. My car works great now and i didnt have to pay anything!

Oil leak from engine rear main seal and cover and suggested oil pan gasket replaced also.I thought it was high priced but thats because I usually do repairs on my vehicles. The 2 years or 24000 mile warranty is not the normal warranty and that is amazing.

I took my car to Advanced Auto for several years based on my first few experiences being good. As time went on, I felt more and more like I was being played. Turned out, I was. Last time I took my car there, they told me I needed a new oil pan. I thought it sounded bogus, so I took it to another shop. They said my oil pan was fine. Then, I took it to the dealer, they replaced the drain plug for a couple bucks. Today, I find out the job they did on my struts about a year and a half ago was done with cheap after-market parts. The dealer is asking for $1,500 to take it back to factory. The funny thing is that a year and a half a go, I paid Advanced Auto $2,500 to do the same job with crummy parts that failed in a year. These guys are complete and total swindlers from my experience and Im hoping this review prevents others from having the same experience.

Clean and professional full-service auto shop. Much more organized than most mom & pop shops. The service adviser Sara is friendly, knowledgeable and honest, and went out of the way to find the parts my car needed. Service was performed to a high standard and they e-mailed me photos of possible future trouble spots.

This company is under new ownership and all i can say is if you value your time and hard earned money, do not do business with these swindlers. As a professional with advanced automotiveknowledge one would expect it not to take 2 weeks to change a hose. I find it an insult to my intelligence that the brake fluid for just my rear brakes cost 130.00. The employees were helpful and nice enough but the fact that they tried to charge me 1300. For what after researching the surrounding competition has quoted me under 400. Worst part of the deal is my trucks brakes were not even fixed! I will see the owner in small claims court soon...although jail is where the owner belongs.

I had a warranty insurance repair on my truck. They were nice and efficient and kept me apprised on each stage of the repairs. Via emails.and pictures. I would recomend for vehicle repair as well as warranty work.

Im a little disappointed in the overall experience, this being my first service with AAC. I will give them another try. I made an appt for 8am, but there was already a line at the door, so dont bother making an appt, just show up at 8:30 or so since theyre FCFS. Thats not a gripe. Its a good sign that the shop is popular. Very courteous. I guess what surprised me was, coming in at 8am for a routine service (thermostat) took 6 hours. Its a 1-hour job, maybe 1.5. I understand they did an inspection, tested the radiator for leaks, etc. Another 45 mins maybe? So, for best results, drop off your vehicle and return for it later. At the end of the day, replacing the thermostat on a 2013 Sienna should have taken 2 hours and cost $250. Instead, my bill out the door was $500. Thats a lot for a thermostat and a gallon of coolant. Is it a deal breaker? No, but Im not thrilled with this shop. Satisfied? I would hesitate before recommending it to a friend. I would tell them to keep an eye on their wallet.

This is the first honest shop ive found in Sacramento granted there may be more out there but are very hard to find . After taking 2 vehicles there, i was very satified they sent me reports and pictures to show what exactly happened to my car when they had it . Don,t waist your time with this shop. They had my car for two days and couldnt figure out what was wrong with my car. They charged me way to much to tell me that they couldnt figure out what was wrong and that I should consider getting a new engine? Really? This shop sucks

They are way overpriced and arent good at diagnosing uncommon problems. But they get the job done if you as a customer knows what the problem is.

They screwed me out of 240 dollars when they misdiagnosed a problem with my car initially. Went in a few days later for the same problem and they decided it was convenient enough for them to go on a ride with me to see what I was talking about. They correctly diagnosed the problem in a matter of seconds and then tried to swindle 550 bucks out of me after they already were incompentant the first time. Dont come here. Find people that have the time to see what you need done and then dont try to rip you off.

My first impression was a very well spoken owner over the phone. The initial conversation made me feel the professionalism if how this buisness is ran. Justin made me feel immediately he cared. Before I said anything about my towing situation he offered towing services also based on where I was located. The honesty, and customer service he provided was indisputable and very honest I felt. The price was fair and he introduced me to his lead shop man who would be working on my BMW 335D. He is a very nice family man and makes an honest living helping people when in need. I am a firefighter and I had to report today to an wild fire, but my car broke down last night, and he made the time to sqeeze me in his tight schedule so i can get to work during this fire hardship in this state. I will forever be greatful for his service in the biggest time of need to me and the people we serve allover the states. His gesture went along way and will get me to the fire line where I am needed the most. By helping me with my car in a short notice he also ended up helping the community being affected by fire, he doesnt know that though, but he is. He never cut anyone to put me in front of them, but did stay late and worked longer hours to accommodate me. From the fire world we thank you and the california people do aswell justin. John the lead workshop tech I also thank you for introducing your self and explaining what you would be doing to my car. Observation: when I arrived to the shop he had a small van, a Cadillac and a 750 BMW they were working on so it made me feel comfortable knowing that this shop not only worked on everyday travel cars, but foreign high end cars also.🙌🙌🙌

I have had nothing but a very good expreince at advance auto centerin west sac they, ran a check on the computer aboard my truck and told me aboutthe distrubtor and fuel injection and they told me the cost and that is what it wasand it works wonderfully now it pass emissions with glowing reports .

Havent even been there. Called at 9:15 to get a quote to come in later, service writer still wasnt in (open at 8). Left a number, and by my lunch at 1:30, nothing. Theyve lost me.
