Great experience, my husband and I found the perfect new car on the website and drove away with it 4 hours later the day we went to see it! Dane was super helpful the whole way. Not once did he pressure us into buying, he was truthful and honest. He made himself available to speak via email until we could find the time to go down there. The website was accurate, which is huge. A few times in my car search journey, I have been dragged away from the million other things I couldve been doing to see cars that didnt exist (though websites and sales people via chat, who advised me to come and see vehicles that werent there). Not with Transitowne though. Dane knew exactly what they had in stock and he made sure that the car I wanted was there *before* we spent our precious weekend time going all the way out there. Oil change was fantastic in and out in 25 minutes. Service rep was great, very friendly and informative. Id only go there for my oil changes, nothing else. I had a major engine problem with only 1900 miles on the car. They would not stand behind me and give me any assistance. My grandson bought a car two weeks after I purchased mine. It was used, which comes with a 30 day warranty. Two weeks out of warranty his engine went. He was told to take it to a Chevy dealer!!! Would not recommend this dealership to anyone!

My experience was good. I had an oil change plus a Manufacturer s Recall so I anticipated at least a 2 hour wait. Was done in 2 hours. Overheard others in waiting room complaining about 2+ hour wait for oil change. In past, have waited long for basic oil change and have recommended adjustment to the scheduling times. This, apparently, is still a problem. Service Dept. greeter/concierge very friendly and courteous and apologetic for delay...but it should not be on her for the scheduling problem.

I spent these past few months looking for a white Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo on different used car websites, as I planned to purchase one once I paid off my student loans as a gift to myself. For the past 6-7 years, I drove a small Chevy Cruze, so I was definitely ready for something bigger and better! I happened upon a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee on carfax.com in great condition and of relatively low mileage, and I then dragged my boyfriend to Transitowne Kia with me to go take a look at it! Its safe to say I fell in love with it right away and knew I wanted it to be mine. I had the pleasure of working with Dane (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), who made the process very fast and simple. The car did have some minor defects like scratches and worn down tires, and he made sure all of those issues would be fixed before I brought the car home! I only had to wait 2 days to pick up my new car, and Dane said I could text/call him in the meantime if I had any questions. This was my first time buying a car on my own, so I definitely blew up his phone with questions and he was very helpful. Fastest car buying experience ever. The web interface was great, and the negotiations were straightforward and efficient. Salesman could have been more respectful of COVID regulations (masking). Also, dealership did not have a wealth of expertise with plug-in hybrids, which is what we purchased. But very positive experience overall.

DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE. They are SCAMMERS. The guy kept asking if I bought the car from here, which I didn’t but I’ve had my car for 6 years with no major problems. I literally came in for a back taillight problem for the first time($25). I was offered the cheap oil change but I declined because it wasn’t needed. Suddenly the next day, the bottom of my car board is falling off and the interior lights of my car won’t shut off. Naturally, I came back in to ask them to take a look and they wanted another $135 for diagnostic plus $150 for labor. Even though it was a problem that was related to why I came in, he was “sure, they didn’t cause it”…but had no idea how it happened, one day after taking it here. It was a scam to get more money and I would highly suggest no one take their car here. Come in for a quick fix and leave with a problem that’s suddenly worth hundreds of dollars.

I had a wonderful experience at Transitowne Kias service center. I scheduled an appointment ahead of time for an oil change, tire rotation, a recall, and a NYS annual inspection. I pulled in and Melissa was at my car door before I could even get out. She greeted and welcomed me with a big smile. After just a few questions and my signature I was directed to the waiting room which was very clean and provided complimentary coffee and tea. In about an hour Melissa came in to report that my car was finished. I was so surprised, I thought Id be there much longer. She cashed me out, told me that all the touch points in my car had been sanitized, and even walked me out to show where my car was parked. I will recommend this fabulous crew to everyone I speak to. Thank you Transitowne for such a delightful experience.

Worst service department you could ever encounter. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE TO HAVE ANY WORK OR RECALLS DONE. The service department does not ever answer or return phone calls, you literally have to drive there to speak someone and the one time I called the service department which of course did not answer and when I pulled in 5 minutes later they were all sitting at their desks. The two managers the female manager and female assistant manager have no clue mechanically about vehicles yet try to explain to you what is wrong yet when you prove them wrong they shut right up. They tried charging me for something they also installed incorrectly and I fought them on it and if course won because they are a scam. A formal complaint to corporate was filed. If you need service on your kia go to Northtown. Never again will I purchase a vehicle from transitowne or ever go back there. Those two service managers should be fired.. STAY AWAY!

Jason was great to work with. This was the second car we bought in the last 2 month with him being our salesman. He made the buying process very easy and enjoyable. My wife bought him his favorite coffee from Timmys. She has never done that with any salesman ever. I highly recommend working with him. The finance part is made very easy at the end as well.

Just purchased our 2nd Kia in three months from Dane at Transitowne. If you are looking for a Kia or a used vehicle, go see Dane. We told him what we wanted to pay a month and he made it happen both times. No haggling, no back and forth, no BS. If he couldnt do it on a certain model, he outright told us instead of playing the game. Id rather my salesman be brutally honest than to feed me a line and string me along. I was also quite surprised the standard features you receive on the Kias as well as their warranty and Consumer Report reviews. Great cars, great value and a salesman you can trust. I have not had a good experience with the service department of this Kia Dealership. Two and a half months ago my car had a dealer specific issue and I had to take it to them. I was told that the issue would be covered by them and fixed. Over the next two months I have been given the go around, I have been spoken to rudely on the phone, I have not been provided consistent updates on my cars status, whenever I manage to get them on phone they lie to me and tell me that they called and left a message ( that excuse doesnt work in this modern day and age where I can literally see every phone call my phone receives and have Kia saved in my phone as Kia). It is just excuse after excuse with them Everytime I try to get a solid update on why it is taking so long. AND when I was finally told the problem was fixed, I went down to pickup my car and found that the problem was not fixed, my car was having the exact same issue. THEY COULDNT EVEN TEST DRIVE THE CAR AROUND THE BLOCK TO CHECK IF IT WAS WORKING PROPERLY.

BUYER BEWARE!! If you purchase a vehicle from here get a vehicle inspection done from another party beforehand. Purchased my vehilce from Transittowne Kia in June of 2017. Sold with a clean CarFax. Went to go trade it in at another dealer and the car has had extensive damage that was fixed. Dealership refuses to acknowledge the problem. How a reputable dealer didnt see the body work is horrible. As the man at the dealer, where I went to trade my car into said, to an untrained eye you wouldnt notice. I would have expected a dealer this large to fix their mistake, but they wont.
