My wife got an Audi and we know nothing about these cars. We needed an oil change and brought it to Precision due to the rave reviews. James was Awesome! I shared some concerns that I had and he came outside and physically showed me around the car and made many important points for me to keep in mind and how to do some things on my own. He Definitely knows his stuff! THEN the crew did my oil change quickly and after that, his tech crew found some things that needed attention. It surprised me that they only had the car for a short time and knew everything about it. They were right on target! Awe inspiring! I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism they displayed! I cant say I know enough about the car repair world to know what is considered expensive or not, but, its irrelevant. Because the professionalism and curated customer service of Percision is worth it. And by that alone, I feel confident in assuming they wouldnt be dramatically more expensive than any other place. At least of any place that does quality work, which these guys do.

I am so happy I found this auto repair business! I purchased an Audi Q3 about 4 years ago and was told there are no trustworthy Audi repair shops around me by a dealership in W.Spfld. I continued to bring my car to that specific dealership and would receive outrageous prices and unprofessionalism, also for a simple oil change they would keep my vehicle all day just to return it dirty to me.Thank you for the power of google and finding Precision Auto! I knew nothing about Audis and was told by the dealership I would only need an oil change once a year and silly me believed them - thank goodness for the honesty at Precision and instructing me the importance of oil changes. I was in Springfield, MA for my father’s Homegoing Services. On the day that I left, I had to turn around and return to my sister’s home because my check engine light came on. I contacted Precision Auto Repair and they were able to locate and repair the problem and they didn’t charge me “an arm and a leg”! In fact I thought since I was a woman and from out of town, I would be be overcharged. NOT SO! I was treated with dignity and respect and have received a follow up call and a follow up text! I highly recommend Precision Auto Repair!!!!!

My experience with Precision Auto started when I heard a rattling sound coming from under the hood of my 2015 Ford 150. As I usually do, I scheduled an oil change and asked Firestone to investigate the rattling sound. To my dismay, the oil change was completed; however, I was told that it would take several hours to find the source of the rattling and fix the problem. The bottom line was they didn’t want to take the time to repair my truck. I immediately went to google and Precision Auto service was at the top of the search. I read every review because reputation and personal experience matters to me. After my research, I called Precision and a friendly voice answered the phone. I scheduled an appointment. The day before the appointment, I was called to confirm the appointment. On the day of the appointment, James (the owner) insisted that he and I take the truck out together so that he and I agreed on what was wrong with my truck. Not only did he pinpoint the problem, he identified another problem with the steering. I needed struts. Although the ride was brief, I felt that James cared enough to listen to my concern and assured me that my vehicle was in good hands. He even complemented me on the cleanness of my truck. That means all lot to someone who takes personal care of his property and vehicle. From the initial phone call to completion of the repair, I received outstanding service. James and his mechanics truly care about people and the service they provide. I would without hesitation recommend him as well as return as a customer. Thanks Precision Auto!!

So I need to give a shout out to Matt and the guys at Precision Auto in Westside. I called up with the unusual complaint of my car starting when I didnt want it to. They got me in immediately and helped perform an exorcism of the key fob to get rid of the random starting. Being a regular customer there was no charge and I got recommend to another local business that can help with the starting issues. These guys always go above and beyond and are as honest and fair as they come. Thanks James Stephenson one hell of a team you got.

Awesome group of guys! Brought my Mercedes in for a broken drive shaft and check engine light and they were extremely thorough from start to finish. So a couple weeks ago, my car was having an issue with the EPS indicator light going off. My steering wheel also had a bit of a clunk to it. I took the car to my go-to place for repairs, City Tire in Chicopee. They are my favorite place because they always give a fair price, always available for appointments, the guy I deal with there, Mike, is a great guy and the waiting room is super comfy.So I was worried about this indicator light because its linked to power steering and trying to get to work every day without power steering would be a nightmare. Unfortunately, City Tire told me they didnt have the best diagnostic equipment and ability to work on this issue and recommended me to my dealership.I tried to set up an appointment with my Hyundai dealership and they said they couldnt set up an appointment until NOVEMBER!! Apparently, from what I heard, theres been a shortage of employees to work on vehicles at the dealerships.Luckily, Mike at City Tire recommended me to Precision Auto in West Springfield where they would have the proper equipment and expertise to help with this issue. I was able to set up an appointment within a few days, they paid for an Uber for me to get to work, made it so I could pay there before going back to work and had all the repairs done the same day.It was a bit pricier, but probably not more than what I would have paid at the dealership and at least they didnt have me wait a month and a half to work on my vehicle. It ended up being a sensor issue with my steering wheel, but Im still glad to have it resolved quickly, especially since I need to get my vehicle inspected in another month or so.Anyway, just wanted to share my experience and talk about two great body shops. Also, if anyone elses dealerships are like mine, dont expect any quick appointments. 🙄🙄 I do highly recommend this place, especially if its an issue your local body shop doesnt have the expertise or tools to work on your vehicle.

I brought my car to Precision Auto after 15 months of battery issues that my main mechanic and the dealer incorrectly diagnosed. Not only did they find and fix the electrical issue, they also identified an issue with my rack and pinion steering that I was not aware of. Since this issue was under warranty with my main mechanic I did not have it fixed by Precision, but was very grateful to them for finding it. Matt also took the time to explain the issue to my mechanic so they could ensure it was properly repaired - for good. Customer service of Precision Auto is clearly front of mind. James the owner called me along the way to give me updates and even called me after I had picked up my car to follow-up. I would highly recommend Precision Auto & will definitely use them again in the future.

Dropped our muffler in the middle of a road trip. They got the car on a lift and evaluated in the middle of there busy schedule, and set our minds at easy that we would not damage car by driving. Sent us on our way with no charge and cold sodas. If we lived in West Springfield, these guys would have a new customer.

Do not take your car there! They are very ride as far as customer service, and I told them what was wrong with my car I brought it there to be fixed! They charge me for a diagnostic to tell me the same exact thing that I told them needed to be fixed. Now my airbag light is on and I never had a airbag issue! I will be reporting to the BBB!

My first experience with Precision Auto was when I needed my exhaust repaired. I dropped my car off with them, and not long after, I received a very detailed list (with pictures), showing all of the problems my car had, with a thorough explanation of each one. I was able to go through and choose what I wanted done, and what I did not want done. They were also very upfront with the prices. No surprises when I went to pay. The Precision Auto team did an excellent job repairing my exhaust and removing my check engine light. I was very satisfied with the work, and my car has been running great every since.My second experience was just as great! I needed my front brakes repaired, so I arrived at Precision Auto at 7AM with no appointment. I asked if they would be able to fix my car that day, and I was told they would squeeze me in. I was very appreciative of that! I picked my car up later that day, and my brakes were done excellent.Truth be told. This is the only auto repair shop that I have ever been to, so I cannot compare prices; however, I believe they are very reasonable. I do not plan on trying out another one though, because my experience so far has been excellent. This team does incredible work, and they make it very clear that customer service is their top priority. I will absolutely be coming back when I need another service done on my vehicle.

Ive been bringing my car to my dealership for the last few years because I trust them to give it to me straight. I tested Precision Auto to see if they would tell me the same thing my dealership would have told me. They passed the test. These guys tell you the work that needs to be done and is straight up honest about what can wait. That is the kind of service I look for in a repair shop. Called after hearing the commercial on the radio. I had a few bad experiences with other repair shops and took a gamble on this place, boy was happy I did. I had an engine light on for far too long and needed an inspection sticker but couldnt pass with the light on. Not only did they fit me right in the next day but they went the extra mile to fix all the previous problems, find the engine issue, fix it in a timely manner and kept me informed and really made feel like I was in very good hands. They also helped with payments options and even sent me chocolates a few days later with a courtesy call to make sure I was satisfied and that there were no issues. I now reccomend this place to everyone and Id like to thank you Precision Auto for your professionalism and great work! 🙂

I was very impressed with my interactions with Precision. From my first message being returned in minutes, not hours, to the understandable explanation of the process necessary to do what I asked for, to the accurate quote I received. They confirmed my appointment by text, received the car on time, and had it ready when they said they would. They even called me the next day to make sure I had no issue! My remote start stopped working randomly a few weeks back (just in time for the arctic blast) so I went to the dealer. They told me I had a major electrical issue which didnt sound right. Awesome service! I brought in my Honda CR-V for some maintenance, Matt was great explaining what was needed to get me back on the road asap and what could hold off until the next visit. I only needed to put in a headlight. I bought the bulb at Autozone. When I went to put it in, I did not have the adequate skill, tools, or patience. Precision Auto offered to look at it right then - put my bulb in, and fixed another bulb connection he noticed. in and out in 20 minutes! very satisfied.

I had just recently picked my vehicle up and was extremely pleased with the level of service and care that the team put into my car. I dropped off my Infinity Fx35 with the engine basically limping its way there. I was hoping to hear it was something small such as a bad sensor. It turned out to be a much bigger issue than I previously thought and while it turned into a fair investment, I believe it was worth every penny. I was explained in great detail what steps needed to be taken to resolve the issue/s prior to any repairs being made. I felt the car was in good hands, but not until I actually picked up the car and saw the care that was put into everything from the review of the billing, steps that were taken to help on the cost, the warranty of the service and parts and to getting into a car that had been cleaned from the engine out, did I realize what a great team you have here at Precision. Knock on wood, the car is driving like it hasn’t in years. So smooth, so quiet and the response to the pedal shows no delays or hesitation as it was when I dropped it off. Not only have my husband and I been going here for about 4 years now, but my entire office uses them too.Please know that if youre choosing a shop based on quality, speed, and attention to detail then this is the place. if you only care about price, go elsewhere. I dont find that Precision is more than other shops, but you definitely get what you pay for. Precision charges accordingly and I think theyre worth every penny.

Had a great experience bringing my BMW in for service. Nicole was very friendly and scheduled me in for an appointment quickly. An honest mechanic in a sea of snakes and frauds. I cannot recommend this repair shop enough. Fair prices and they stand behind the work they do. Recently brought my Cadillac in for service and got 2 front lower control arms, and sway bar links. They brought me in and got the job done the same day. Got the car back and ended up having a noise from the front end. Ended up they put a defective sway bar link on one side. They did not even argue that is was not a bad part, and replaced the part on the spot, no questions asked. Honesty and integrity are hard to find these days but it is found at Precision Auto. They had me wait three weeks to tell me they were to busy to put a tire on. They had my tire after I had it towed I called and they told me to come get it. After they told me they had no time to do my car yet they had pulled into there garage cause thats where the tire was that they took out my car . I believe they broke my hood release button cause its gone and I have no way to open hood.

You dont have worry about if they are trying to scam you out of more money, on fake repairs that dont need any e.t.c. they was with my problems and the also being honest about other things that I needed to be addressed. But the best thing about this place is they know times is hard these days so they even offer easy financing. And all of staff there are awesome, were else can you go and after they fix your car they even give it a wash and light detail. Mannn!!! Im telling you not going to get this no were else. I had been using another shop in the area for a while and decided it was time for a change. A friend recommended these guys and Im happy they did.There was a noise I was having over bumps and only when turning. They had someone go for a ride with me and found that it was just my spare tire that was loose!!!They could have charged me a bunch and replaced a bunch of things but they didnt. While I was in their nice waiting area I was chatting with a few people and all were raving about the staff. Ill never go elsewhere. These people are true professionals. I didnt expect such a high level of service from a local mechanic. Keep up the great work Matt and staff!!

Good acoustics for an arena

Great auto repair shop! The mechanics did an excellent job with all the work done. Matt at the front desk made the process a breeze. The lobby was very clean and comfortable to sit and wait for your car, they also have various drinks and snacks. Great overall experience at Percision HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Took my Cadillac CTS in to have it diagnosed. Known issues were AC clutch was blowing and showed no power. Wheel bearing needed to be replaced due to the tone ring on the bearing. Also had them check out a lean code that car was throwing. $526 later they car was smoke tested. I was told bearing needed to be replaced which I told them it needed to be. Diagnoses for the bearing $129. I told them the AC clutch needs to be replaced. They diagnosed it for $129 and then told me they would have to recharge the AC first on a car that has no powering to the compressor. But I didn’t know what I was talking about apparently. $129 for the recharge and the compressor still doesn’t work. Shocker. Lean code was diagnosed as they would need to look further then costing more money. $526 dollar later. I got my dead AC recharged and my car smoked and basically everything I told them they retold me. I went to pick up my car today on 7/2 and the cars break pedal was completely stiff. The car barely wanted to break at all. They wanted to charge me to hold the car and check it out. Breaks were fine when I dropped the car off. I was not giving them another penny so I drove off with the car slowly and had someone follow behind me. Got home and took the vacuum lines off and PVC lines off which were removed for the smoke test. Come to find out they did not connect the vacuum lines because correctly and it was backwards causing no vacuum to the breaks. Well luckily i am familiar with the car and was able to fix the issue myself. First time here with my car and I will not be returning. Front desk girl was great and friendly. The owner I couldn’t say the same for.

Brought my Jeep Cherokee in for an oil change and to checkout a light that kept coming on. The Service Shifter light.Matt went out of his way to resolve the problem for me. He is extremely pleasant and explains everything that will be done.Prices are absolutely comparable to other places, if not better.I would recommend Precision Auto to everyone.

They gave me a great price when other places wanted to charge me $100 dollars more than what Precision charged me. I will never take my car anywhere else besides them . I recommend them to anyone who needs car service

I have finally found an outstanding auto service facilty. I have had some terrible experiences with local auto service companies in the past, but Precision Auto Repair truly excels in customer service and their dedication to making repairs to my car that are needed and not try to tell you things that need to be fixed that are not broken. From the first person that picked up the phone when I called to make an appointment right down to the person that cashed me out and brought my car right up to the door for me because it was raining heavily. Matt was outstanding with keeping me updated about the service they were providing and when my car would be ready. Their pricing is very reasonable and did not break the bank. I called on Thursday and had an appointment the next day. My car feels new again because of the outstanding employees at Precision. The following Monday they called me to check on my car and make sure the work they had done on my car met all my expectations. I am now a loyal customer and will not being my car anywhere else. I went here after saving up for what I assumed to be a large job with the transmission, having many other places in the past only be willing to work on something that could be paid for in full. I found Precision, and saw that they do financing, which made me relieved in case I did not have enough saved for a large job. They looked at the car, and came to the conclusion that my actual problem was a dead sensor, and had it fixed by the end of the day, as well as an oil change, and replacing my battery that they found to be close to dying, which seeing as it was in my car when I bought it 5 years ago is not surprising. When they were done with the initial inspection, not only did they call with this information and for me to make decisions of what to do, they sent me link to see all the details of the inspection, including pictures of the inside of my car. The next day, they called to make sure that my car was still running well without any problems. They went well above the customer interaction and satisfaction I have come to expect from the car service industry, and I will be going back in the future.

Precision Auto Repair is by far one of the best automotive repair shops I have been to in the West Springfield area. Recently I experienced an issue with a check engine light caused by an emission problem. Their service, work, and ethics are unmatched and resolved my issue. I would recommended them to anyone who needs auto repair work done to their vehicle. They take the time to explain everything that needs to be done and why and will stand by their work.

Ive been to many auto repair shops in search for a honest, fair and convenient place to have my BMW serviced. A co-worker referred me to Precision Auto Repair, so I called and made an appointment. The day of my appointment, I worked with James. He didnt have a problem answering any of my questions and checked things he didnt need to to ensure my vehicle was safe. Precision is my go-to shop for sure in the future. I recommend them to everyone! Hands down the best place you could ever take your vehicle for a repair.

Bad place to go. They robbed me of money, they used my car to go to Connecticut to drop off a vehicle put a lot of miles on my car and used my gas, replaced parts that didnt need replacing and Matt is a liar! had the car towed 2 times there and misdiagnosed my car twice it costed me hundreds of dollars then I had the car towed third time to Curry Honda where they found the problem and it was a starter. Precision Auto kept changing parts throughout the engine and a battery and was not the issue cost to be over $1,800 over a starter issue never again

Unlike any shop Ive ever used. These people are just fantastic. From beginning to end they are just nice, honest, and really accommodating. My first visit I was so happy with the treatment I asked to speak to the owner to compliment him/her. I found that the place is run by James who is the owner and his sister. Family owned, family operated, honesty, experience, and just really really nice people. This spot is a home run. Kudos to the Precision team!

You just earned a customer for life today.Brought one of my vehicles there for a issue. They could have very easily just said, this is the problem... and charged me a couple hundred dollars for it. However, this is where honesty and caring about the customer comes into play. They called the dealer and confirmed it was under warranty and sent me there for the repair - because it was a free repair to me.Ive worked with many shops and dealers when I was in college. I do not like very many because of dishonesty... So when someone does the right thing its pretty awesome.Thanks Guys!

I called up the day after Christmas to try and make appointment to just get my car looked at for possible issues, i fully assumed that it could be at least a week to get me in considering the time of year. I was happy to know they could fit me in that day. I am far from a car guy and far from a guy that takes it easy on his car, so i was expecting there to be some costs. My car is barely 2 years old and has well over 40,000 miles on it and i have done zero maintenance on it to this point, other than oil changes. So when i can got the call back saying i only needed an Oil change and alignment, i was overjoyed.Not only did i feel comfortable with the assessment of my car, i also felt very confident that my car was in the right hands. After talking to Matt and James, i knew i was dealing with people that knew cars and knew how to communicate well with customers.It is safe to say Precision Auto will be handling my families cars in the future.

If I could give six stars I would, but they cap us out at 5 on here. I have a 99 Saab that needed clutch work plus diagnosis of a few other issues, and alot of different shops have either turned me away or greatly over quoted me. Precision auto welcomed me with open arms. Matt is great, very friendly and professional and presented everything to me that needed to be done and the cost behind it all in a very detailed manner. Ive worked in various areas of the automotive industry for years and have routinely avoided professional shops, doing all the work myself because its so hard to find a good and trustworthy shop but Id deffinately recommend precision auto to everyone I know and plan on bringing my vehicles back in the future if repairs are needed. Cost was right around what I expected and the repair surprisingly only took a total of two days. Thanks guys

If you need your car serviced, this is the place to go. Not only are they great at what they do, theyre not out to empty your wallet. I always feel like their main goal is to help. Period. Even when looking for our next pre-owned car. Ill talk to them first.

Definitely some of the best service Ive ever experienced at a shop.The office is clean and comfortable. They have some cool books to browse while you wait.Everyone Ive interacted with has had excellent customer service skills.They use technology well, the website is designed nicely, and allows you to set appointments up. They use Uber, and set it all up for you, for rides to and from their location.Overall a great place to bring your car. Worth every penny.

They are dishonest and very pricy. My recommendation is to stay away from them.I had the worst experience with them.The person replying to comments is making things up and doesn’t know what he/she talking about. Another reason to prove the failure. Please do your homework before going there and try to find a nice honest mechanic .

Brought a car in I had just purchased for an inspection at Precision Auto Repair. They were extremely thorough and informative, waking me through everything they inspected and all recommendations. The staff is very friendly; office/waiting area is clean and a comfortable area to wait. Highly recommended!!

I own a local landscaping company and run four different trucks. Prior to finding Precision auto i would have to deal with mechanics putting off repairs for days and even weeks. That would kill my business. Thats not the case at Precision. James and his staff get me in and out very quickly and make sure i am not in for the same problem again. Rich his office manager is very knowledgeable and courteous. They will not sell you on repairs that do not need to be done or even perform repairs that do not make financial sense to the condition of your vehicle. That type of honesty is unheard of these days and you will not find that elsewhere. I needed to find a quality, reliable, efficient auto shop and i found that at Precision. If you are tired from having to jump from mechanic to mechanic go to Precision Auto itll be the last stop you have to make.

So glad I took my car here! Very honest, informative and nice people! They listened to my concerns about my car and took that extra step to let me know exactly what was needed and relayed it to me in a way I could understand without making me feel stupid. A few months back I had Precision replace my rear brakes, recently my emergency brake was not holding as well as it should. When I spoke to James he advised me that I could bring in my car the next day and they would be able to make the necessary adjustments while I wait... the best part... I was not charged to have this done due to having my brakes done with Precision! That was wonderful, especially right before Christmas! Thank you Precision :)

I went to Precision Auto Repair from a referral since I was new to the area and needed brakes quickly. James, the owner, spoke to me first thing in the morning, took the car and ran a 51 points check on the car to detail the required services needed (the report even had pictures of my car that detailed the issues of concern; never had that before.) James talked me through my estimate before any decisions where made. The work was done timely and for a reasonable price. Great customer service by Bridget at the front desk; clean facility. All around a wonderful experience. I highly recommend James and his business.

The best auto repair shop around. James was so helpful and to be honest, I was very nervous coming in because I dont have a lot of trust in repair shops. Ive had some bad experiences and have overpaid for unnecessary repairs in the past. James made me feel very comfortable and wasnt pushy at all. I went ahead and put my trust in Precision Auto Repair and I couldnt be happier, my Nissan runs perfect! They also have Netflix, hot coffee and the waiting room was beautiful and smelled so good.
