Amazingly fun to dig through the remnants bins looking for treasures. There are isles of upholstery fabric on bolts and isles of satins, lace, cotton, wool and canvas. Sample swatches displayed on walls and in books. Definitely worth a trip to browse and put some spark in your creativity.

Amazing amount of fabric, you could get lost in this place. Upholstery fabric is superior and reasonable. The staff actually know where things are and were really nice and helpful. If you need fabric, this is THE place to go

Horrible! Not 1 single Special Order Fabric I chose was even available any longer, yet the Samples remain hanging up! Asked to bring home a couple Sample Books and was told no. Ill keep my money at Michaels instead. Better Customer Service and they keep up on their Special Order Fabrics.......

I grade this store a 1 star ⭐️ I was shock how this establishment is even running, once I walked in the establishment with my husband no one greater us or even ask if we needed help the young man on the front desk just looked 👀 at us like we was crazy immediately my husband said this how the run this establishment I said I guess so. We walked the whole warehouse staff walking by no one bother too offer some assistance once we was exiting the establishment too young female saw us and immediately gave there backs at us I was well i guess the don’t want our business we left so disappointed and discussed with the service. Shame on your staff bad reputation.

Whoa!! Way better than JoAnn Fabrics in Ludlow!! Staff was helpful and they have a lot to choose from! Unfortunately nothing is organized by thread count so for those of us trying to make masks that have 600 thread count cotton or more, we will have to probably choose quilters cotton( which is said to be effective according to studies) they also have silks. Its kinda like a fabric play ground... With dim lighting to set the mood.

This company charged in advance, did not communicate delays, didnt fulfill the order, sent two of 3 items, one item was wrong, made me send it back and never sent the new item. The variety of unique fabrics & trims is just mind blowing at Osgoods! The young lady at the register, with beautifully applied eye makeup no less, greeted me, and went above & beyond to help me find what I needed. She cheerfully went so far as to bring fabric bolts from the storage area so I could check it out, as only a certain area was open to the public; covid Im sure ... phenomenal customer service & excellent prices.

They sent me 3 boxes of toxic cotton batting that had to be thrown away immediately. The cotton was advertised as chemical free and 100% cotton. When I asked for a refund, they ignored me. The BBB could not even reason with these dim minded industrial waste dealers. Im never ordering online products that dont have a return policy like an Amazon return policy where return costs are covered and customers are valued.

Osgood’s retail website, onlinefabricstore.net, is horrible with order fulfillment and customer service, which is nonexistent. I placed my order, 1312821, on May 19, 2020. It is now July and my order still has not been delivered, despite their site stating that they are still open during the pandemic. I understand that they also state orders my take longer, but 2 months without any correspondence is unacceptable. I have tried to reach out to them via their help email twice and have not had a response. I have called and their message give store hours and then hangs up no matter the time you call during business hours.

I placed an online order on May1, 2020. Havent received my product-I cant get through via phone and my emails have gone by the wayside. Ive received no updates either. This is my go to store for all fabric. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The variety/assortment that they carry is fantastic. It ranges from vinyl, cotton, silk, sheer, and so much more. You can can get a lot of yards per fabric as most of the fabric are on large rolls.

Lots of decent fabric, but not conveniently stocked. Some fabric is stored so high it is impossible for a customer to reach. Staff friendliness can be hit or miss. If you are willing to spend at least a couple of hours and wade though the bins, you could find some good bargains. Worth taking a chance.

Fabulously huge selection of every type of fabric from lace to woolen tweed. Can be overwhelming. Closed Saturdays. I’ve been going for years. I enjoy spending at least an hour just looking.I recently got custom pleated shades from Osgoods. They close from the bottom or top. The salesman was efficient and thorough. He came and measured, and in a few weeks the crew came and installed. The shades are elegant and work perfectly. I am so pleased.

ZERO stars...I ordered fabrics for a client and NOTHING! No responses to email, an HOUR on hold trying to get through. This makes me look bad to my clients and it makes you look like shady dealers. I went for quilting fabric and there wasnt much. My friend found upholstery fabric she liked. Its mostly home dec so if thats what you want, its 5 stars. The staff was extremely helpful; they all deserve raises.

Buy online or in person. H-U-G-E selection. You may want to scout out what you want online and go into the store to pick it up. I found clear vinyl here to use for a rear window in my convertible. Only place I could find material thick enough. Price was excellent as was the service via the website and in the warehouse. Plan to spend some time here if you love textiles!

This place is literally a fabric warehouse, so it can be hard to find things if you dont really look. Most of the fabric is in huge rolls stacked 4 shelves high so the color & pattern might not be immediately evident. Having said that, you can find some really cool, unique & beautiful stuff. I always go with one thing in mind and leave with 15 more ideas just because of the fabric I saw. Definately a hidden gem & well worth a trip.

Great selection but lousy customer service. There was only one sales clerk on the entire floor both days I went in with an interminable wait for help. Then 2 major mistakes were made in my address for a special order in spite of my having written it on a piece of paper she right had in front of her, it would have never gotten to me with what she put in. Then she made the same mistake with the second receipt. Then I went back 3 days later to get more of the same fabric and the manager insisted on me paying a third more than I paid originally even though I had the receipt. Both salespeople were, shall we say, not very polite. So make sure you double check your receipt and make sure you get enough fabric in the first place.

Ordered from their online store late April. Have repeatedly asked for status updates via phone, via email, via facebook and nothing. Theyve resorted to closing tickets as solved without actually communicating and deleting negative facebook comments. These are terrible business practices and formal complaints have been filed with the state and the Better Business Bureau.

Best fabric store for specialty and home decor fabrics. Staff knows their stock really well, but you need to know specifically what youre looking for to get the best amount of help from them. (Dont ask them where their blue fabrics are, ask if they have a blue oilcloth/cotton gauze/chiffon/etc.) Offers interior design help as well. Super reasonable prices.

The areas best textile / fabric / home improvement store - and its been there since i can remember. if Osgoods doesnt have it in stock, they can order it. Simply, the best - period.

Best store in a 100 mile radius. Osgoods lacks charming customer service (theyre gruff and dont have time for you to be waffling about your choices), but makes up for it in selection and pricing. You can usually find what youre looking for here at a good price and they have worked with us in the past to get volume yardage. They were even able to find white velveteen, in cotton, a tough item to track in any locale.

Personally, I love to visit this store!!!! I usually plan by taking a day off and clearing my calendar because I take my time to look. They gave a wide variety not only for clothes but to re-upholster chairs and cushions, make curtains or sheets. Love, love this place.

This is the best place to get fabric!! If they dont have it they will do their best to help you find it. I have been going here as my main source of fabric for 26 years now, and send all my customers here. It can be overwhelming the first time you go there, but dont be afraid to ask for help finding what you need. Their prices are also the best around.

The guy Louis working there is an expert at fabrics, each time I get him to cut my fabric he does it professionally and can find right away what Im looking for. Wish they reopened the other half of the building (like it was many years ago).

I have been going to Osgoods since I was a kid and I have always enjoyed going there and even my fiancee was having a good time looking at everything. Katie was the woman who helped us and she went above and beyond what I expected. Our experience was exceptional because of her.

Reviews should be able to choose zero stars. I cant imagine ever returning again. Couldnt believe the ignorance exhibited by the staff. I need some silk (specifically dupioni), and their website said that they carried it. Well, I went in and couldnt find it so I went up to one clerk and he just walked away from me. Tried another and she told me that any silk was in the first 2 aisles. Well, I had already looked there and it appeared to be mostly polyester to me. I asked for 100% silk and she said that they had no way of knowing fabric content or how much they had in stock and that the best way to figure it out was that the really expensive fabric was the best. Wow, how helpful! At least when they were on Magaziner in Sprfld and the father was in charge the staff was knowledgeable, still rude, but knowledgable. Never going again. Oh, and buy the way, speaking as a quilter, the cotton is definitely not quilt shop quality fabric - mostly seconds.

Wow! Today was my first visit to Osgoods and I am really impressed. A young lady helped me who was both knowledgeable of the inventory and products and also eager to help. I found a sequin fabric that I have been looking everywhere for. I also received a discount on it for buying more than 10 yards!

I bought a woven shade from them. The shade shrunk over a span of 18 months. I went back to the store and spoke to the man in charge of shades. He felt it fair to give the company that produced this shade a second chance. Not what I wanted but he talked me into doing just that... Well approximately 18 months later the second shade did exactly the same thing. I again went back to the store with pictures of the shrinking shade. I heard nothing from this man until I called a week later. He offered me to come in and choose another material from the same company and if is was equal or less $$ he would exchange it. I told him I did not want the same company. Basically, to bad that was the offer. THANKS BUT NO THANKS. Poor customer service.!! I would not recommend Osgoods for purchasing shades of any kind.

Well priced fabrics in this massive warehouse, but be ware; unless you have an item number from their website, prepare to sift through hundreds of blots with no descriptions, item numbers or material content.

While nowhere close to what it was like 20 years ago when I first started shopping there, the reality of the changing textile business has affected all the great fabric stores. Osgoods still has a huge selection and great prices!

Ordered Ultraleather from them and was shipped via drop ship from Ultrafabrics in Terrytown, NY. Ultrafabrics short-shipped me 1 yard. Osgood called them and they(Ultrafabrics) said they shipped and basically called me a liar. Osgood should have been customer centric by stating they would re-order and ship as paid and ordered. Instead, I continue to get the run-around and I still do not have my order as paid. Be careful as Osgood will not do the right thing out of the box by taking care of their customer. Waiting to see what happens next.Update: They did the right thing and said they would send the material as purchased.

I go to Osgoods when there is no other place to go. They have a huge assortment of fabric but I dont like the attitude of the owner. I had a custom drapery business for years. I sold my own fabric but when a customer could not find a fabric I or they looked at Osgoods. When they knew I had a business, I got attention, when they didnt I did not. I dont like the discrimination. One day Id get one price and another day the same thing was a different price. I like to know what Im going to pay when Im looking for a product. I always got to the parking lot and yelled in my head, I hate this place! Even if I had a monopoly in the area I would never treat customers like they have. I seldom go these days and when I do, I know what to expect. I find what I want and get out. Not a warm cozy place if thats what youre looking for unless you play their game. I wont!
