They responded when called and were very fair in all their dealings with us. They called with a reminder the day before they came. The tech they sent out was pleasant and went above and beyond to please. He showed up on time and worked hard the whole time he was at our home. I was very happy with my entire experience with Energy One from start to finish. From the estimate to the installation EVERYONE showed up on the day they were scheduled and on time. (Im having a lot of work done on my house and I cant get ANY contractors to show up when they say they are going to.) They were all very nice and professional and did a great job with the installation and explanation of the operation of the equipment. They left my home spotless when they finished. Im very happy and impressed with everything. I have already recommended them to several friends and coworkers!

After six other companies refused to do the work because it was deemed too difficult, Energy One took on the task of replacing the old, failed HVAC system in my condo. It was going to be a multi-day job that required a new line set through my condo building. From the beginning, I knew I was not just settling for the only company that was willing to take it on.Matt, the sales advisor, spent an hour and a half researching how the job could be done: in the ceiling, up and down the stairs, all around the building. He later came back with Tom, the project manager, who also reviewed the plan for any possible roadblocks. I was quoted a high efficiency heating and air conditioning system that was equal to other companys quotes for a standard system.When it was time to start, the technicians, Matt and Pat, were on time, professional, courteous, and meticulously clean. This was not an easy job, and they knew it. Yet I never heard either of them raise their voice or show signs of frustration. They just did the work, and did it well.Lastly, Karen, the administrative assistant who was the go-between for everyone involved, was friendly, professional, and responded promptly to any questions I had.As far as Im concerned, there is no place else to look for work of this kind. I couldnt be happier.

I contacted Energy-One for a quote on a MiniSplit AC unit for my home. Energy-One called me back immediately, setup a date for consultation and promptly provided me an estimate in writing (unlike several other companies I contacted). The price was very competitive and install was scheduled within a couple of weeks. The communication and follow up by the Sales associate, Matt, and Karen in the office was great! My install was delayed just a day due to weather but I was kept informed ahead of time which is very important to me. Tom and Kevin came to install and were prompt, very professional and courteous. The job was completed in the agreed upon time and every thing was neat as a pin when they were done. They took the time to give me some instruction on using the unit as this was my first time using a mini-split. Bonus points to the guys for taking a couple of minutes to play with my dogs which made them (the dogs) very happy! I will absolutely use Energy-One in the future for all my heating/cooling needs.

We got three estimates and theirs was by far the best. Installers were on time, professional and courteous. Put tarps down to prevent any mess and cleaned up when they were finished. Made sure unit was working perfectly before they left. I am a cynic but I have to say they were 100%. JR

I hired Energy-One for a 5-zone ductless split a/c install. It was a good experience overall. They worked with me to develop a cost effective solution to cool the whole house, and the installation was very clean and professional. They quoted me 4 days of work and finished in 3.5. They also kept the job site clean and left the site clean when they departed. The quote was also very reasonable for the amount of equipment and labor.

Energy One’s crew recently installed central air in our home. The crew- Hunter, Mark and TJ- were the most courteous and considerate contractors we have EVER had. Hunter kept things moving and finished way beyond schedule. Mark gave us a “tour” of the system inside and out. Not a blemish was left behind and every spec of dust and debris was cleaned away and vacuumed. High praises to all!

Energy-One installed a mixed ducted/ductless mini-split system in my home, and I was very pleased with the process start to finish. The quote was very reasonable, and the technicians were prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous of our home.

I was nervous when Hope Oil merged with Energy-One my family had been with Hope since it opened over 50 years ago. I was considering switching when I learned of merge but decided to try it first. I am glad I did because exceptional level of service I am used with Hope Oil to continued after the merge. I love the personalized service I receive, this is why small business are so important. Energy one exemplifies how customer service should be!

We had an issue with our old furnace. Called and actually had owner call us back and come out same day! Who does that nowadays? We settled on a new AS furnace, install was on time, clean and efficient. We called other companies, they were un-responsive and finally came in with pricing that was much more $$$. Great guys, great service.

I had to have a 60 yr. old boiler replaced. Once I called, I met with Tom Vassella the next day. He was very helpful and professional. The installation was done within a few days. Very neat and thorough. I had two other quotes and EneryOne’s cost was lower than than others. I’m very pleased.

Although they appeared to be very knowledgeable and polite, their billing is not transparent. I received a large bill with just a description of the work done without the bill being broken down. There was just a total amount. I believe they could have compressed the amount of times they came back to fix the issue. They came back four times to fix a Carrier heat pump leak. I will not use them again because of the lack of transparency.

It’s unfortunate that there are still dishonest businesses in RI. Avoid this one!

The people at Energy One are fabulous to work with. They are HONEST and good people. Would not hire anyone else!

Our AC fan motor failed just before a long-planned trip and we needed it fixed for our dog sitter. They came promptly and diagnosed the problem. But it was a Thursday and there was no replacement motor anywhere near RI. I offered to track one down and asked them if they would install it over the weekend, as we were scheduled to leave on Monday. They said yes, and made it happen.Energy-One is a fairly large HVAC company and my experience with similar large companies hasnt been good -- probably because its so much more difficult to manage a large service company. But Energy-One is an exception to that experience; they make it easy to reach someone knowledgeable, and are willing to explain why they recommend what they do. They show up when they say they will and dont leave a mess.

Figures my central air stopped working last night during this lovely heat wave we are having, perfect timing! We called Energy-One this morning and they were out this afternoon and my central air is already fixed! I have been dealing with some health issues and having my house running into the 90s the last 24hrs has been horrendous. I cannot thank your company enough for such prompt and professional service, I would also like Gary specifically recognized for his hard work during these weather conditions. I will definitely be calling you in the future as well as spreading the word to others. Thanks again!

I would refer this company to anyone. They replaced our 50+ year old furnace in Nov 2019. Took 2 gentlemen all day and into the evening to complete. Prior to our old system quitting, we got several quotes from well known heating companies, one said they wouldn’t do it. We had never heard of Energy One, they were referred by my co worker. They left no trace of all the work they did and the price was fair. They were on time and contacted us after the job was complete to make sure we had no issues. They went above and beyond our expectations.

Energy One is the contractor I chose to install my new oil boiler and indirect water heater. After researching contractors and equipment, I felt their pricing was competitive and fair. Also, they didnt push me in the direction of one manufacturer or another. I was free to chose the equipment I researched and wanted installed.Their technicians showed up early to my property and waited in the truck until the scheduled start time. They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Their work was clean and professionally installed. By the time the job was done I had a working boiler and an area so clean it didnt look like any work was done.I did have a slight issue the next morning, but a quick call to service and they were immediately on their way and repaired it in no time. I feel that I not only bought a high quality boiler, but also excellent customer service which is just as important as the equipment they installedI highly recommend them and will continue to use them for service. It was a great experience all around and I am extremely happy with the end result

I had Energy-One install a secondary water meter for my sprinkler system. The plumber Scott was very friendly, worked efficiently, and did the job right. It was less than a week from the time I requested the appointment to the time the plumber came and completed the job, which was far faster than when I used other plumbers in the past. Very satisfied.

Energy-One was recommended by a neighbor and she was right. They are professional, prompt, and leave the work area in tip top shape! The service is remarkable!

If you want all of you equipment branded with energy one stickers these are your guys. If you want all maintenance tags from other suppliers over the last 10 years thrown away. These are your guys. Intrusive and unprofessional. These are big 8 x 6 inch stickers that are hard to remove.

Have had Energy One for over 20 years. Cant say enough about their service. Any time Ive had to call they were quick to respond.

They over charge for their work guys installing get the crumbs meanwhile owners get brand new toys. Unamerican business tactics.
