Went there during the snowy day for inspections as the nearby auto repairs quoted me 400-475 to replace rear rotors and pads on 2017 Honda. I met the owner, Tony, who had the technician detail the break and rotors and I was told that they were fine. The break pads were 2/3 remaining and rotors were not that bad to be replaced. I was done in 20 minutes with inspections. Such an honest and friendly place I have ever found. They not only saved me $$ but also earn my trust. Very detail and professional, I will always go with them and also recommend for any other services.

Over the years, I have had multiple different vehicles worked on at this shop, and Ive always stood by them, saying they did good work.. That being said, I recently moved back to the area and again went back to have a vehicle worked on. This time however, there was a different staff completely and the quality of the work had dropped dramatically.To make a long story short, I had to return to the shop 4 times for an exhaust leak, which turned into replacing the mufflers. If they had actually checked the muffler the first time, there would have been no reason for me to return.

This garage is great and fair priced. I brought a 2002 land rover in for a thermostat change and they did that and replaced alot of other parts and still held on the same price they gave me. And they get the work done fast they will work with you and are very good at what they do. Cavallaros is professional, punctual, honest and friendly. We switched to Cavallaros after years of taking our vehicles to the dealership and getting low quality work. We brought both of our vehicles to Cavallaros for an inspection, knowing one needed work. They called an hour later and told us the vehicle needed tires, a wheel alignment, and the exhaust resonator had a hole in it. I approved the repairs and both vehicles were inspected and the one that needed repairs was fixed and inspected, all in the same day (before 2pm). At the dealership I was going to my vehicle would’ve stayed there for a week. I was shocked when they called me the same day and told me they were done. They have no problem showing you what needs to be repaired and going over your car with you to show you what needs to be done. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

Cavallaro’s is a SCAM!!!I brought my SUV in to Cavallaro Auto Repair in Westbrook to have a clunking feeling/noise in my rear end diagnosed. They said that they couldn’t feel or hear what I was talking about but they did take the liberty to “go over” the rest of my car, and found $2,467 worth of OTHER completely unrelated repairs that they wanted to do; all for MY safety they explained.Don’t bring your car there unless you like being bent-over a barrel and throwing away your money!
