I have been a patient at COSC for 5 yrs. I have had all types of skin cancer. The doctors have diagnosed and treated everyone correctly, the treatment and recommendation for skin care post op has worked. They are the BEST. The staff is kind and competent. I care about my skin and feel better about myself because they CARED FIRST.
Dr. Briody helped find the source of my daughters discomfort and extracted on the spot. We had been to multiple doctors and she was the only one to identify the issue immediately. We had confidence in her experience and she put my daughter at ease. Very thankful to her!
Ashleigh Briody apparently knows everything there is to know about Burning Mouth Syndrome. If you have it, or suspect you might, find a doctor that 1) listens and 2) gives you some hope. So glad I did not listen to her.
Been going to here since 2004 and I recommend this Group. Professionals from Physicians, nurses to the front line staff. Not for sure what the negative comments are about but my experiences have been positive.
The people at the office seemed to be fine, but their billing department is terrible. They lost our payment multiple times, then found it, then lose it again, and finally sent us to collections. I had to sit on the phone with their billing department for hours over the span of weeks until they could finally figure out they had misplaced the money and would credit our account and reverse the collection out against us. Will not be going here again for that reason.
Dr. Briody is the absolute BEST ! She is kind, personable, and so competent. Jen, the doctors nurse is a dream. Office staff....always nice. So very thankful for Dr. Briody!
Called at least 5 times and still havent sent my prescription to the correct pharmacy... absolutely ridiculous.
Expect an hour wait time or more when you come here. Why its operated this way- I have no idea. I have consistantly waited an hour or more every visit. They do not apologize for the wait either, because it is their “normal.” I have never dreaded a doctors appointment so much, knowing I have to wait an hour every time I visit. Everything else is fine, everybody is nice, but waiting an hour is ridiculous and cumbersome.
Family member went in to get a spot checked. A dermatologist who I won’t name drop told her it was probably squamous cell carcinoma and it needed to be removed and biopasied. Turns out it was a wart. With all of the technological advances a dermatologist should be able to tell the difference between SKIN CANCER and a WART. Unnecessary procedure to make money. Go somewhere else.
Dr. Wenker and the staff was absolutely amazing. Was very gentle made sure I was comfortable and explained everything to me step by step. I couldn’t ask for a better surgeon or staff. Madison and Megan were two of the friendliest nurses I have ever experienced. Huge thank you to all!
Ok this place is over hyped. I came here for a dermatologist appointment with Dr. Zyniewicz and I had to wait an entire hour. I took time out of my school day for this appointment and I left without even getting to see her. When I asked, the staff said she still had a patient to go before us, after that whole hour of waiting. Also, no one was apologetic about anything! To waste an entire hour of my Friday I at least expect a sincere apology, all I got was annoyed faces. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.
It took the nurses almost a full business week to get back to me after leaving a message about a concern I had. I ended up having to call them back after the week. Also, the first time I went, they apparently didn’t check on one of the two moles I specifically asked them to check on. I realized this when I was leaving the office. They told me I’d have to pay another $60 co pay just to have it checked when it wasn’t my fault the doctor didn’t do her job. When I called back to give a second chance, the scheduling lady was rude. So disappointed!
Everyone is super friendly here! My doctor and nurse were great.
Recently turned 20 and thought it was a good idea to get some moles checked out some looked sketchy to me, my Dr was so kind and explained a lot to me about being aware. Yet the front office to check in the lady was super rude. While I was filling out paper work(new patcient)she was literally acting like it was a pain in the ass that I was filling out paper work and that my insurance was on my phone instead of a paper copy to another associate. I was scheduled in at 1:30 on the card I was given when I made my appt over a month ago and it took that long to get in and she was about to not accept my virtual copy, and complained I was 10 min late to her associate when I had arrived at 1:30... other than that it was fine. They should have more positive people in the front when some people there are walking in with possible skin cancer and other illnesses.
