I never come here but it was on my way home so I went to get something quick, and the two ladies on the registers were talking the whole time we were waiting on line. The lady looked at me but didn’t tell me to come to her register, so I asked her if she was open. She only said, “yes” didn’t tell me to come. So I asked if I can come to her register and she said, “yes” again. (There was two more coworkers on register as well without customers) it was a really awkward situation.

It is always a fun time shopping here. Always plenty of things you need. I also, noticed the Staff here, is very friendly and willing to help out.

I am already stressed like most everyone else right about now and went shopping at westfield ocean state today and there was so many great products and the store was so organized I ended up spending over 300.00! All of the staff are great with the customers. Heres what led me to review for my 1st time ever- I got to my truck and the doors wouldnt unlock, I had lost my fob and was stranded there for a LONG TIME..the manager came over to me, I believe his name is Joe- he requested my mile long receipt and walked himself and with me several times retracing everywhere I went, looking under everything and never complained! Words really dont Express my gratitude for his kindness, he and many of the other employees there are precious people, Thank you

They have a variety of socks and hats that we were looking for and not expensive. We also get our 96 count of coffee also. We like the crazy gift cards.

Each store is different. What you find at one may not be at another. Maybe youll buy something least expected. Sometimes you go in with a list but come out with more. On rare occasions the opposite may be true.

I never set foot into a job lots until 2 years ago and now this is my #1 go to place. I have saved so much $$$ on my face lotions, hair products, and hard to find cooking oils like Avocado and Grapeseed at fantastic prices. Also, the selection on gardening supplies is wonderful. If you have never been you should go and see for yourself. My wallet is so happy for it. Great service

This is a discount store but you can find some great deals on everything. Clean and organized and great staff. I always shop here for a great bargan.

I decided to buy several of the extra large pots as well as 8 bags of potting soil. Due to a recent surgery and not being able to lift anything, the staff here picked up all the pots for me, loaded them onto a u-boat and cart, helped me in the check out line, had me pull my car right up to the fire line and loaded every single in my car for me. I am not one to ask for help, so this was VERY appreciated. Its the kindness of people that makes a difference.

Offers great seasonal wares for landscaping. However, one issue I had earlier today was one of the managers belittling an employee over the phone for calling out of work. She was in front of me nearly screaming on a phone. This is not the first time I have experienced this at the store, and, has become a revolving theme. Can your corporation look into this? Thank you.

Very affordable

Used to be a lot cheaper the products they sell, now they seem to be as pricey as other retail stores. There are a few deals which seem to be heavily discounted. I thought they were supposed to buy their products by the lot so customer could benefit, by reduced pricing. The store is clean neat and orderly. Cashiers have personality.

This place is amazing! Their prices on many things are cheaper than other stores. If they carry it, it is usually cheaper. They also have an amazing selection of different stuff, especially in their food department. The staff is very friendly now (some previous employees were Not), and they always take care of you if you have an issue with something youve bought. It is also a very charitable store, too, as I find lots of their items new with tags, donated to a charity I volunteer at. The kind of store I feel good about giving my business to!

They were closed over an hour early today (2/4/18) I came at 6:55pm and the store looks like it has been closed for hours even though it says in the window that they are open on Sundays until 8pm... So if you ever come here make sure to be prepared for the least possible reliability in terms of them being open or not. It looks like if they feel like it they just close an hour or two early sometimes... I’m disappointed.

U can always find good deals here. The insider card and e-mail notice on specials is very handy.

So I may not be an impartial review because Im an employee of the company but from the customers perspective after shopping in my hometown store today in Southington Connecticut I can truly tell you that Ocean State Job Lot is like no other retailer, between the product selection the value and the friendliness of the employees they give me a reason to get up off the couch and go out and shop. Ocean state job lot westfield....the most awkward, cringey and weirdest experiences I have....this cashier yesterday was definitely tripping on acid or something. Whacked out of his mind making completely zero sense. Laughing hysterically at himself while naming my items wrong like my coconut oil he said was mayo. My energy drink, ketchup, and my cornmeal, cheese... he said welcome to CVS when he gave me my receipt to leave...... told the manager to watch out for him and he didnt even say sorry or do anything. I found out later that im missing like 3 cans of soup he charged me for.... Last time I was in Springfield ocean state the cashier was nodding off on heroin.

Best store to get some weird energy drink.
