I picked up a used custom shop Gibson ES-339 from Derick. It was a 2007 model, the first year it was made. Derek was a great help and the guitar is beautiful. Ive taken it around to my bands lead guitarist and he is really impressed. (I had a hard time taking it away from him at the end of the evening!)I really recommend Derick and Lovies Guitars.

Lovies Guitars is definitely one of the best businesses I’ve dealt with for any purchase (not just guitars). The website is great, with very clear descriptions of all the guitars for sale, along with many, many clear pictures showing all views of the guitars. He carries the finest names and has a fantastic inventory. My first purchase was a Tom Petty signature 12 string Rickenbacker. The prices are very good, and the packing and shipping is the best I’ve ever seen. The guitar was sent immediately, arrived quickly after its cross country trip, and was even better than the description. All the paperwork matched and the guitar literally sings. Since there is a 14 day guarantee (which Ive never seen anywhere else), I had time to take it to my luthier, who checked it out and certified it perfect. Since then, I have purchased several (how many qualifies as several; maybe I can get away with calling it a few??No, several) more guitars, including Gibson acoustics, and a six string Rickenbacker. Those all arrived in perfect condition, actually, in new unplayed condition!
