Busy location, friendly staff. Pack your patience. They hustle but could use more help behind the counter.
Only leaving this review because I was surprised by the negative reviews and comments. The staff have always been friendly and helpful here. Its a shipping store, not sure what people are expecting when they walk in 🤷♂️.
I am surprised at the negative comments. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I guess you get what you expect?
Awesome experience! Worked with Sue. She was fast and efficient. This Sue did not give me the run around!
Would not recommend this location. They are short staffed every time I have been in there, with only one cashier, even on the Saturday before Christmas. They only present you with the basic UPS shipping option and make you dig to find the option that is best for you, especially if you want to use USPS. In addition, if you are looking for a place that follows strict cleaning protocols, go elsewhere. Everyone uses the same pen with no cleaning in between customers and they had no sanitizer accessible among other things.Random Note: It smells like greasy pizza due to the shared wall with Pizza by Robert.
Westlake is not a particularly diversified place, but I love how people have always been courteous to women with color, until I met Gretchen in this UPS store. I first noticed the difference in the ways she treated me as opposed to other white customers, as she never replied to my greetings like how are you or hope you have a good one. There was no eye contact either. I usually shrugged it off as everyone could have a bad day.I only realized recently that her animosity was of a completely different nature. I noticed an error Gretchen made when typing the recipients address and pointed out to her in a polite manner. She flatly denied several times, and then, after finally realizing her own mistake, she threw into a rage, grabbed the sheet from my hand, tore it apart, and began to curse me using four-letter words. I felt so threatened that I could barely raise any opposition on spot (no one else was at the store at this time). And I was very sad by her insult that I kept shivering after leaving. Will never come back again. It is such a shame that UPS should hire people with such warped viewpoints. This is a terrible stain in our community.
2 out of the 3 people working when i went in were not wearing masks and only put them on when a customer fully approached them. very disrespectful and careless during the height of a pandemic
The woman at the desk with grey hair was rude saying “don’t worry about it....just put the package on the scale...here is your receipt. comment: If you do not like your job that much, you should resign and do UPS a favor. I will not return and drive to another UPS store farther away-it will be worth the trip to get treated like an appreciated customer.
I wasn’t going to write this review but then I came on here and noticed that I am not the only person who has had a bad experience at this location. The staff here are rude, not eager to help and constantly acting as if you are bothering them. I was told today to purchase a roll of tape to tape a label to a box as, “packages should come prepared to ship out”. You realize, you are a shipping store, right? 🤯Avoid this location all together. Go a couple miles and experience true customer service and kindness at the Rocky River location. I will never again step foot in here and wish I could give them a -5 stars instead of 1.
Staff member Jamie was incredible and extremely friendly I also loved the dynamic that he and his grandma had together
Sue and her staff are excellent! They have been there for many many years and know their stuff!! I have been a customer there for over 10 years and had nothing but great experiences for all staff members on all my mail package needs. Thanks especially to Sue and Gretchen!!!
First off it takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but wow I had a terrible experience here today. The front desk lady was incredibly rude, sarcastic and clearly does not enjoy her job. Did not help out with our transaction at all and I left wondering if my packages were even going to make it to their destination. Ive always liked using UPS, please hire better front end people. Avoid this location if you dont want to your day ruined.
Slack-faced employees greet you with blank stares and no words. Stop in to the location on Detroit and Bradley for a soul-crushing, after-work experience thatll make you grateful to have any job other than working for the UPS Store. Never again.
Sue was super helpful in directing me to the appropriate services. Definitely will come back!!!
Very helpful and friendly staff!
The worst ups!! Staff is not friendly or helpful! The older lady there always closes early!! Its very aggravating when you get there at 6:20 and there closed ! I get my mail for my busniess here and am definitely changing it! Its happened to me more than 5 times where they close early! Very unprofessional
Helpful and friendly staff that goes the extra mile for you!
Long wait, and notary services are worthless. They wont help with anything requiring more than a signature. Not a true “full service” notary.
Very slow....no one acknowledges that you are waiting....no friendliness.
Terrible customer service from Sean. Very rude and unprofessional.
Never welcoming and take forever :(
This store closes before their posted hours. What a waste of my time. The posted hour is 6:30 PM and they are closed at 6:22. What a joke.
