Because its close to the house otherwise sometimes the service is questionable and I lose out on all my freebies and dont get offered a receipt or a bag almost every single time thats just the tip of it.. just saying. I guess we get what we pay for and convenience cost..

Folks, its a gas station. I dont come here to shop or get my morning coffee. I come for the gas prices that seem to be cheaper than surrounding stations. Plus, using my Thorntons card, I get an additional 3% off my gas. And every few months they add another 6% off gas purchases.I have purchased convenience items (soda, milk, snacks) and coffee during my gas fill-ups. Coffee always seems fresh, but I usually visit during morning or evening rush hours. I doubt if it would be fresh if I visited at a later time. I certainly wouldnt expect the cashier to make me a new pot of coffee. They are extremely busy and usually only 1 person is at the register.Store personnel seems to change a lot, so Ive had friendly cashiers, and some that were less than friendly. I think its a stressful position which probably doesnt pay a lot and they may get overwhelmed at times. Be prepared to wait in a line during busy times and try not to be a rude or demanding customer. I personally have NEVER had a problem here and I have been visiting this gas station for over 10 years.

The manager on duty was a total jerk to me...condescending and incredibly rude. I’m filing a complaint with corporate. There is no reason for a person to treat customers in such a manner, let alone the manager. Also, the cheap gas is a result of the cheap refining process...it’ll ruin your engine. I used to go there for the cheap cigarettes but never again. I’ll take my business and money elsewhere.

Most pumps are broken and they dont put signs on broken pumps. Dangerous neighborhood

I come here nearly 5 days a week on my lunch — never again. The workers are so rude and irritable. They treat their customers horrible. Get a different job if your that miserable..

Dirtiest Thorntons bathroom I have ever seen. And the fountain machine is gross. Please clean

On 2/2/19 at 9:30 pm I slipped and fell on my back in this Thortons parking lot. The whole parking lot had patches of ice and no one had put salt on the parking lot. I asked to speak to a manager but the cashier told me no manager was available at the moment. I told the cashier someone should salt the lot before someone else slips and falls. The cashier told me that they are not allowed to salt the lot because a private company comes out to salt the lot. When I asked when would a manager be available she told me around 12 or 1am. I called the same night and the cashier gave me nasty attitude and said the manager is not available call back another day. The fact that somone is not in charge at all times makes me feel unsafe. After I had fallen the parking lot was still left unsalted. I have been a loyal customer for Thortons for 3 years and due to unsafe policy and procedures I will never go back. I will also inform everyone I know of how unsafe Thortons establishments are ran.
