Best ice cream place ever!!!. A whole family can get quality ice cream for under $10.00. This is a Westmont institution. It great to still have a local business owners who are who are extremely generous and always give back to the community. Give this place a try and you will never go back to an over priced ice cream chain.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I love it! They are always so nice and their ice cream is delicious. Anytime someone comes form outta the area I always make sure I bring them here.

Unfortunately this wonderful ice cream place is walking distance from my house. Just not far enough of a walk to burn off the calories, so I’m just gonna get fat. The chocolate is unreal.

The Chocolate is absolutely best chocolate ice cream I have ever had. The service always comes with a smile. The prices can’t be best. My wife loves Banana Mac. My friend loves rocky road and I agree. I had it the one rare time they were out of Chocolate.

Felt very, very unsafe and unwelcomed looking around the store. As well as the owner, constantly talking about the health department in a bad way, etc. Trump signs everywhere, a sign disrespecting individuals beliefs, that place made me urk. Good ice cream and good prices! The only thing I can say negative is they were out of some flavors because of a late delivery. One other thing not their fault nobody orders hot fudge anymore so they offer chocalate syrup instead. I love hot fudge on my sundae!

First time writing a Google review, but had to let people know to stay away from these rude people. Walked in and the rude woman stared at me as I walked up to order a milkshake, she let out a huge sigh and rolled her eyes and barked back what flavor?. As she got the spoon, I asked if I could have vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Her response, No, we never do that, we would never put syrup on the ice cream no. You get it this way . My boyfriend said thank you and we left, I was a little frozen in awe at how rude, disrespectful, and crabby this women was. Anyways, lots of other places to get ice cream where they dont yell at you for ordering, try all those first😂

Definitely a strange place. As a poc the owners especially the lady was just staring at me and my girlfriend. Almost like we didn’t belong. They had Fox News blasting and trump 2020 signs up right when you walked in. The ice cream was cheap but not the best. No mask Worn by the owners. I will definitely take my business else where. At this day in age there is no room for hate.

I had a coke float and it was as it should be. Perfect. Large quantity for everything and at a super reasonable cost. Many flavors and variety of products. Just like its name - this place got Tasty Treats for adults and kids.

Please go here, its a really small place, but the customer service is top notch, and so is the ice cream. Its also really cheap and they have the perfect menu

Dirty disgusting garage sale ice cream house? Whatever that place is, every inch of it needs to be tidied and cleaned. How has the health inspector not been called? Maybe they have been… but it sure doesn’t look like it. The longer I stood in that place the less I wanted ice cream from there. The lady at the cash register looked like an old witch villain and just stared judging-ly into everyone’s souls as the one worker was running around in circles. There was no time to wash any of the utensils or the shake machine even if that poor girl wanted too. I’ll pray for that place because it seems like there’s a lot of hate-filled hearts running that tiny business.

I took my nephews here for a treat. This is a strange place. The owners just quietly stared at us when we walked in and rolled their eyes whenever I spoke/ordered something. The kids were even uncomfortable and wanted to leave before they were done eating. Trump posters everywhere and Fox News blaring so loud I couldn’t hear the kids. Tasty Treat not only has great tasting ice cream but it also is very reasonably priced for what you get. A 2 scoop cup typically comes with 6 large scoops for ~$3. The 1 scoop is typically 3 large scoops for ~$1.50. The owner, Tina, is almost always there and has always been so nice each time that I have visited. The atmosphere has that “ma and pa” small business feel to it and in the back you will notice that a lot of the items with price tags can be purchased. Lastly, there is always a steady stream of people coming here no matter what time of day it is!

Loved it will go again soon.

This is little ice-cream shop in Westmont downtown area. The ice-cream quantity is a lot. There are 3 sizes to choose from - kiddie, small and medium). I took kiddie and it had 2.5 scoops(in just 1.92 incl. tax...yes you read it right...its so economical!!!). There are bunch of flavors to choose from. And the ice-cream sweetness is just optimum and flavors are simply great. You can also mix any number of flavors you want (in my view more than 2 will just ruin the taste but you can go as crazy as you like) The owner of the shop is not friendly though and if asked for extra scoop/cup you will get the coldest of looks. The place do need a cleaning - too much stuff lying on the counter which is not even needed. But great price, quantity and flavors!!!

It is my 2nd favorite of all time, Graeters being #1.They close up shop for 3 weeks at the end of January, to celebrate their b-days in Port of Vallarta every year. They were born one day apart. Great place not 31 flavors . But enough to make you happy. Costs less than your regular ice cream shop. Larger portions too.

Ahhh! The good old days when America was great! This ice cream parlor is a frozen piece of Americas past ( I dont mean that in a good way). It is made clear by the owners in several ways that they prefer vanilla over chocolate in its many forms. If you are a hard working POC then shop elsewhere. You and the owners will both be happier.

Terrible experience. All the five star reviews talk of welcoming friendly owners. They forget to mention, however, that’s it’s only if you are white. Felt very uncomfortable as POC. Trump signs everywhere, FOX news blaring. No masks anywhere.But worst part, owners just stared at us like we didn’t belong in their store. My kids were immediately uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I’ve heard this area can be very “red” but we have never felt so downright uncomfortable and unwelcome as we did in this place. And the ice cream is meh at best.

I used to love this place. Been going here for years. But its really tight inside and they are not enforcing masks. Agree or disagree, it is the current law here. Wont be returning until they start following the law.

Staff did not wear any masks despite the fact that the world is in the middle of a global pandemic, this puts all customers at risk. The shop also smelled like urine, as it has for the past three years. Definitely do not recommend and definitely will not be going back.

Tasty Treat has great ice cream at a wonderful value. A single is much larger than most other Ive cream shops double scoop. When I was still a newbie going to Tasty Treat I ordered a double on a cone. The owner (yes, she does most of the scooping) said, I cant possibly put that much ice cream on a cone. Tasty Treat is not an easily noticeable store. That being said, it is a very popular local ice cream shop, and for good reason. Tasty Treat provides its customers with a decent variety of flavours as well as many toppings to be added. The ice cream itself is very good quality, and all of the several flavors I tested are worth getting again. The best aspect of this shop is the pricing. It is very modestly priced and the servings are very generous. I cannot recommend this place enough, I will definetly be back again!

This place is honestly amazing. The staff is super friendly and the place has a very cozy feel to it. The price you pay for the huge amount of ice cream you get is phenomenal, not to mention how delicious it is. I ordered a single scoop for $2.10 and didnt expect to get that large of a serving. Great value. BIG servings for low cost. Great friendly service.Inside atmosphere needs work though. Theres random outdated stuff from the 1970s thru 1990s for scale scattered around - old books, boat models, faded ugly pictures, etc which (In my opinion 99% of the patrons would never consider buying). They need to ditch the retiree garage sale vibe. They also have a TV that plays a news station with a very specific political viewpoint. I dont mind that do much but there are people who may make them reconsider a return trip.In short... it feels like an indoor garage sale that with great service, sells delicious ice cream for cheap.

The staff is always super nice and a joy to talk to.This location can get busy especially during the summer. If its a hot summer day except a 10 minute wait. This place is great! When you order one scoop of ice cream you end up with 3-4 minimum. If you order 2 scoops, they might just hand you the entire tub.Really though, its a great mom & pop ice cream shop. Lots of flavors of real ice cream to choose from along with soft serve. Came here for the first time today. I felt uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. She made me feel like I shouldn’t be there. Her tone and behavior changed when she was serving us. The ice cream was okay but not worth the treatment. After another customer walked in, her tone became friendly and helpful.

If you like to hear from Fox News about the latest mass-murder blaring from the TV while you eat your ice-cream with your family, then this is the place. Ice cream was good, not great. Bathroom was minuscule but clean.
