They know the brands, give great insight and above all, give great service, including their delivery team! In the day and age of online shopping and big box stores, you can always rely on them to get missing pieces or broken glass. A pure joy to work with!

I love this place! Marissa White is my go-to lighting girl. She helped me find all the fixtures in my salon and they look amazing. She made sure they were exactly what I needed and they were in on time. I think she should go into interior designing with her amazing ideas.

I ordered a Lutron wall switch and plate covers in a color that was not in stock. Was required to pay a deposit and paid the full amount due since it was a small order. Was told that the order would be in in about a week, and that Id be called when it arrived. Seemed like a pretty routine thing.After more than 3 weeks, I called to find out what was going on. I was placed on hold while the person, Lisa I believe, checked on status. When she came back on the line, she said that she didnt understand why the order wasnt in yet, that she would call the main office to see, and that shed call after to let me know. Not having heard back for the rest of the afternoon, I called again. The same woman I talked to earlier said the order was on back order and would be in in about a week. Seems to me that that meant that absolutely nothing had happened in 3 weeks (except that my credit card payment had been processed). When I asked why she hadnt called back to let me know what she found out, she told me that she was with customers and didnt have time to call. Im not sure what I was considered if not a customer. Wont go back again.

This a great place for your lighting needs, certainly unique and different from the big box stores, very unique products and great staff.

Had a history with company from wife, expectations were from past experience, but whilst doing a new construction basement and expecting professional knowledge, spent big $$ for products and when electrician contractor arrive...@ 2 hour minimum plus service cost! the assembly from Burr Ridge Lighting was incomplete! So guess who eats cost ? Products are payed for and the best that BRL can do is say “I’m sorry “Plus for some reason this “vendor” is closed on Monday! Start of a work week! Really?!I suggest doing business elsewhere!This family business is for your money nothing else!

My builder sent me to see Jan the owner and we spend a few hours of her time and left her,we felt she didnt have what we wanted we called Light Source in Plainfield went to see them and they had a great selection. I get a call from Light Source stating that Jan from Burr Ridge Lighting called them and stated why are they stealing her customer...I was so upset that a business owner would do such a nasty thing. I email Jan and told her that we are not using her because of she did and how dare you telling me that I cant shop around for a whole house of lighting that I should just take her pricing. Then she emailed me back and stated that she was going to tell the builder that she didnt want to work with us anyways. All I can say is stay away from this place I really think the owner is a little twisted and needs to rethink her business practices.
