I called because my heater wasn’t working and gault was at my house within an hour. Patrick was efficient and professional and discovered that two of my three zones were air blocked and the circulator was dying. He replaced the circulator and got the air out of one zone but not the other and said he’d have to come back tomorrow. However, it turns out his Gault colleague John was 15 minutes away so came to help! By now it was almost 6PM but together they fixed it within 15 minutes! I’m now happy and perfectly warm!!
We had a great experience with Brian Curry who found another issue tied to our Blower and solved for it free of charge. He came back and solved the issue with great speed. Also, Justin his partner was polite and responsive.

Gault provided a meticulous extended propane line for a new gas cooktop and gas (heating stove). Gault owns the entire process including any necessary permits. They came the day promised but did not provide a time window. The workers are knowledgeable, neat, and accommodating.

We are new homeowners. The house we purchased had gas tanks from Hocon. I was referred to Gault by a friend. My first call with the people at Gault was positive. They were professional and easy to deal with. They did everything they said they would do in a timely fashion. The Gault crew showed up on time the day of the appointment, disconnected the existing tanks and installed their replacements. Clearly communicated what they were going to do from installing to testing. I am very happy to be a new Gault customer.

I would not recommend this company. Quick to delivery but poor service and extremely poor billing practices. After my 4th contact just to get a standard bill after months of them claiming past due balances I have moved on. Very disappointed in this companies failure to meet the most basic requests of a (former) customer. Search elsewhere for an energy company there are many that offer better rates and the service that you would expect and more.

I was having problems with one of my thermostats and needed someone to install a new one. After doing research I contacted Gault. What an experience, I could not have been more pleased or impressed. I was given an appointment for the next day. The tech arrived early and was both friendly and professional. It turns out that somehow the emergency off switch tripped on the unit and the thermostat was perfectly fine. It was great to be dealt with honestly.
This is my second review and unfortunately, it is going to be no better than the first. Amazingly, I just had the same problem with Gault I had a few months ago EVEN AFTER the CFO and manager promised me they would take steps to rectify the problem. The people answer the phone and say one thing. The technician arrives and says exactly the opposite. SAD VERY SAD
Gault responded with speed and respect to the fact that I was nervous about the fumes. Both servicemen were extremely nice and got the job done with great confidence - I believe they are all well trained in this business and actually care .

Gault is the best! It was New Years eve 1999 and everyone was afraid of Y2K My furnace died at 8pm on that chilly night. Called Gault and they came right away and fixed it just like they did this Sunday when it broke again. An amazing well run company that treats you like family.

Today’s visit was from a very nice propane gas specialist who was appropriately wearing his COVID-19 mask. He came to change out and hook up an LP hose from an old gas grill to my new one. Although the hose fitting was seemingly frozen in place, he had it off and changed and tested in under 10 minutes. I have been a happy customer of Gault family businesses for 5+ years (heating oil and propane) and highly recommend them for their professionalism and customer service focus.

Brian & Corey were amazing ! Brian helped fix our water heater issue over the weekend. Exceptional service. He found other issues with the vent pipes and Gault helped proactively reach out fixed the vent pipes, fixed a controller issue with in the water heater and cleaned up before they left.All work was covered under the maintenance contract! Quality service, timely and proactive out reach by the Gault staff! Would highly recommend them for energy needs !

Yesterday was my first time receiving oil ever. I met with an oil technician and literally 15 minutes later I was getting oil delivered to my house.
We have used Gault for many years. They service our heating system, air-conditioning system and provide us with fuel (propane on the world). Everyone we have dealt with has been professional and courteous. I have no complaints at all and recommend them to others.
Appointment was scheduled for 07/08/2020, but for some reason received text & phone call that technician was on the way over in 1/2 hour on 06/17/2020. SURPRISE!!! In any case, we were home and available at the time so we had the service technician perform the annual maintenance.Service technician earned 5/5 stars. Happy with him... Thanks.

Many thanks to the Gault team in helping us with a propane problem. We were misguided by a competitor and luckily were referred to Gault. The first line customer service agent, Angela, was helpful and then we were transferred to the propane coordinator, Kim. She went above and beyond helping us schedule the best solutions. Today, Kevin and Charles came out to our property and figured out the problem - saving us thousands of dollars in an unnecessary repair. They were kind, courteous and explained everything and then made sure that our system was up and running. We cannot thank the Gault folks enough and we will spread the word to our friends and contractors.

Tom has been servicing my heating, air Conditioning and venting needs for years. He is so knowledgeable and very friendly! I would highly recommend him! My only complaint with the company is that I want an estimate before the technician comes out. I don’t like giving someone a blank check.

Steve, a Gault technician, came to my house today in response to my call regarding a water leak to my furnace. He was friendly & extremely knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem & gave me a few choices as to how to solve the problem. I especially appreciated his explaining, in detail, the cost of each possible solution as well as the pros & cons of each solution. It was clear that he was not interested in pressuring me into the most expensive approach - as some other companies have done in the past. I have been a customer of Gault for over 30 years. Although their oil prices are not the cheapest available, their customer service more than makes up for it. I highly recommend them.
Technician was professional, thorough maintenance service and troubleshooting. Replaced a part before it became an emergency. Left the mechanical room clean and tidy.As a builder/developer, I recommend Gault to my customers heating with oil because of the service experience I have had on my home oil burners.
We purchased an old home last summer, and so this was our first winter using oil heat. Not knowing how it works and what needs to be done for maintenance, I was lost. Thankfully, Wyateisa patiently walked me through each step of the process (from service assessment to contract to maintenance) and has been an incredible resource with every question Ive had along the way. Gault is reliable with deliveries, and their customer service is exceptional.
The A/C part of the less than two year old HVAC system was not cooling the bedroom floor. The Gault technican diagnosed the problem very quickly, and added missing refrigerant and a dye to locate the source of the leaking refrigerant. On time, knowledgeable and very pleasant.

Well I scheduled Gault Service appt between 4-6 pmI received a text at 4 pm saying the service guy would arrive shortly .. Was a no show until 6:20pmI left work at 3:30 to get home and wait and wait! Yesterday I had my first experience with Gault Energy. Our central air conditioning had ceased working on one of the hottest days of the summer. The supervisor gave us a courtesy call informing us of when we could expect the technician to arrive. The technician, Dan, arrived promptly, assessed the situation, came up with a solution, and made the necessary repair. Within 10 minutes of his arrival, our air conditioning was back up and running again. So grateful to the Gault team for their efficiency, professionalism, and their expertise. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

For heating and a/c service, Gault texts you within the two hour window to give you a better estimate of when they will arrive. It’s refreshing that Gault values your time and keeps you up-to-date on their ETA. Partick was our service provider and he was great to work with.
We ran out of oil on a very cold Saturday. Gault was there within half an hour of us calling. Then a technician came to flush the boiler. We are so grateful for choosing Gault. Great service that keeps us warm and is there for us when we need them.

I was most pleased with how quickly the oil delivery was made after a false reading caused the tank to run out. After it was full, the driver assisted with resetting the furnace. He saw it was not staying on and quickly took action, making a service call on my behalf. The tech was at my home within 2 hours; bled the main line and I was good to go. Thank you!!

Overall, my experience with Gault has been good. Their management kept me updated on the progress of the work. The only hiccup was determining the root of my furnace problem and ordering the parts. Otherwise, they were quick and thorough.

We had an issue with one of our heating zones going out -- not cool, especially in February in the northeast. My phone call to Gault was answered right away, a tech was to our home within an hour, and thirty minutes later he had replaced our water circulator. Overall, it was an unpleasant situation the Gault team helped us resolve quickly and painlessly. Our protection plan that we purchased through the company covered everything.

7/15/19: Finally had a competent technical come for the air conditioning- Matt - stayed to fix it and add refrigerant. Now waiting to see what happens with hot water tank.7/13/ 2019: BEWARE!!! SUPER SALES PEOPLE, LACK OF QUALITY AND SERVICE. We moved into our house in Easton CT in February 2018. We have spent close to $10,000 on a new water tank, a new 500 gallon propane tank, service contracts and cost of each service visit. In the 17 months we have been here, we have had significant issues with the water heater (they sold us an older model with aluminum rods that are deteriorating,) as well as service issues for the AC, turnover with technicians, and lack of responsiveness on calls put in where somehow they don’t get to the techs.Today, I called them at 7am for service for our AC which wont get below 75 degrees. No call from the tech. I called them at 8:15. They said they would put in another call. No call from the tech. It is now 10 am and the office has just told me they never got those calls so no tech knows about this. Presumably I will get another call soon... STAY TUNED...
