Chris who greeted us in the store was knowledgeable and friendly. He came to our house to do the measurements and answer any of our other questions. He wanted to make sure you were 100% satisfied before he put the order in. The crew that installed our hardwood flooring was on time, fast, hard working, meticulous, clean and courteous. Highly recommend! Chris was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. We only had 1 room of flooring done. Despite it being on the smaller side of projects we felt like we got the time and respect to make sure the room turned out the way we wanted it. We will definitely be using them again when we eventually renovate more of our house!

Abbey was by far the best pricing around by a significant amount. Their installer was outstanding both in his estimate of materials and the installation was superb, and I am fussy! As a construction consultant I was thrilled with Abbey Carpet, showed up for client meeting on time with the right samples. Showed up on install date and installed the beautiful Armstrong Linoleum flooring. Client was veryhappy and so am I. Will definitely use them again, and have already referred them to one of my contractors.

What a wonderful experience. Despite walking into the store with no pictures of what I had in mind, Chris was able to help me select flooring materials for an entire house, a beautiful backsplash, and a magnificent tiled shower. Everything was installed expertly (including the carpets!), and the materials bring so much character to the house. I was impressed with how fast things arrived and how quickly (and carefully) the installation team worked.

This is the second time I have ordered through Abbey Carpet and Floor and they have been great each time. They have been very helpful in getting the floors I need and being delivered on time. I will be continuing to order my hardwood floors I am replacing in my other rooms through them.

Went to Abbey Carpet to do over my family room and 2 bedroom floors. They had the best prices around by far for the wood floor I was looking for, as well as one of the best selections. Installation was quick and easy and very clean. I will be returning again when I decide to redo my kitchen.

My family had a large flooring project and we spent about a month looking for the right flooring. We went to several places and got quotes. We finally settled on a set of engineered bamboo flooring and wanted to find a store that carried our choices. We called and visited several places. We went to Abbey Carpet in Weymouth and talked to Ed -- who had to call his distributor to find a quote. The following Monday we got a quote and it was a very good and fair price. It was better than all the places that we have gotten quotes from.What surprised me even more was the service. Honestly dealing with them was the easiest part of process. On the phone I arranged with Chris to get the flooring and accessories delivered. I told them my timeline and they delivered (for a reasonable fee) and brought the flooring to our apartment (not an easy job). Later I called because I had some excess flooring and they were willing to take back the excess flooring minus a restocking fee from the distributor. Note that its very advisable to return any excess flooring within a month of purchase as the distributor may not accept any returns.My only criticism would be they should update their website to reflect the large inventory of flooring they are able to acquire. When we were looking for a store that had the flooring we wanted we didnt see it on their website. However, since they worked with a few of the flooring manufacturers that we were interested in, we figured wed go in and take look. And they definitely had everything wanted and they were able to get quotes for the flooring that they did not have samples for.Overall, our dealings with Abbey Carpet were smooth and great. I would recommend them to anyone. Chris and Ed were great to work with and very responsive and hardworking. Also I was very happy to support a local business.

Cant say enough about Ed and Chris at Abbey Capet. They stand behind their products and have the BEST installers. Their prices are extremely competitive, but what stands them apart is their customer service. Really, they do go above and beyond to make you satisfied and happy. We had a very good experience with Ed and the store in Weymouth. He gave us just the right amount of guidance on products, had a better price than the big box stores, and was fast in product availability. A DIYer, I bought extra hardwood and they took the unused product back without a problem. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
