These guys are amazing. They were more than willing to go far beyond what most stores would do to help me get my projects complete. They were availible for questions and advice whenever I needed it.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave from General Flooring. The entire process from planning to finish was as smooth and seamless as I could have hoped for. Dave had me come in to look at sample pieces of flooring and had an app that he used to help me to visualize what each sample would look like all laid out. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with finding the right type of flooring for my needs. I placed an order and 3 days later his contractor Tim was at at my house to lay down the new floor. He was very punctual and efficient and paid attention to detail. Tim went above and beyond making sure that all of the baseboard fit perfectly against a not so perfectly even concrete floor in my finished basement. He put down approximately 700 sq ft of flooring, baseboards all around, and even offered to hang some closet bifold doors and trim for me. Everything was completed in just 4 days! I could not be happier! The new floor is beautiful and the customer service was exceptional! I highly recommend General Flooring for all of your flooring needs.

They have a huge selection of tiles to choose from but I don’t like purchasing from a place that you can’t return your purchase to.

Our builder sent us to General Flooring and we are so glad that he did. Dave asked a few questions and then started showing us several tiles that were just what we were after. Dave also showed us some pictures of his work, and we were blown away! We now have some great tiles and a whole new look to our new bathroom. Thank you to Dave for his patience and expertise. Friendly and helpful. We were seeking old tiles to match some missing ones on our bath. In the basement is a treasure trove of old and odd tiles. We found what we were looking for. They also have new flooring and carpet. Well be back when were ready to redo the kitchen floor.

We were looking to get a runner for our stairs (two sets, including the landing in between) and the stairs were wonky in shape. Living in the city- a rowhouse- we were getting some outrageous quotes. We wanted more of a family owned business and Im glad my aunt directed me here. I went in, described my stairs and had a picture - took a sample home and within a week Bryson came out to measure. He was personable, efficient, honest- a much different experience than the first quote from the shop in Needham. We scheduled for installation at my convenience and though it did take the whole day (which makes sense due to our stairs etc.) the guy who came to do it was also incredibly personable. Made the whole experience great and the rugs came out exactly how my husband and I had hoped. Were considering doing rugs in our kids room and will absolutely be back to General Flooring.Price is right.Great quality.Professional throughout the entire process from first conversation to the clean up after installation.Most importantly- very family-oriented, honest, and kind guys running this place.Thanks for a great experience, General Flooring!

Mike D did a fantastic job installing, he was on time, meticulous and fast, utmost professional.I found their prices were comparable to other flooring stores in the area.

Have had dealings with General Flooring in the past and never had any problems. However, I am dissatisfied with the last job they did. I was quoted one price in the showroom for material and installation and then received a written bill which was much higher than what was quoted. I went to the showroom to discuss the matter and was told I had received all kinds of discounts(?) for this job and there was nothing they could do about it. On the positive side, the installation was professionally done. This will be my last transaction with General Flooring.

The staff has always been incredible, even thou I do my own installs the product quality and ability to get the products timely is second to none!

Friendly and excellent prices

I own a business in Weymouth and we needed our carpets and some floor repair work done in a small window of time because everyday our building was under construction, was a day we could lose business. Bill and his crew understood this perfectly. I couldnt believe how seemless the entire job went and considering the amount of work, the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Bill and the entire general flooring team to anyone and will be using them again myself.

Where do I even begin to thank General Flooring of Weymouth, MA? Daves professionalism, caring about and working with my numerous allergies and restricted budget made the experience pleasant and actually enjoyable and fun. The installer, Tom S. was equally amazing. He really knew what he was doing and did it extremely well installing my engineered wood flooring. He too was very pleasant, accommodating and professional. Tom exceeded my expectations with his knowledge and old world perfectionism, It was easy to see that he took pride in his workmanship - almost a lost art. Ladies, he even cleaned up everything afterwards. No, I was not paid to write this KUDO. I was compelled to write this as I had tried to work with a big box store, much to my dismay. Their floor was defective, had to be ripped out, and it took me months to get my money back. THANK YOU DAVE AND TOM!!!!

It was more money because it was 36 square feet larger than you thought it was during the instore estimate. I dont know how else to explain it, Bob. Well miss you as a customer.
