Bought a trek e-bike about a year ago. They have a great selection and were very helpful in choosing the right model. You can take test rides on anything with no hassle, not like some shops. Also appreciate that they took proper covid precautions during the worst of the pandemic. Ive had a couple of small service things done and the service department was also great. Couldnt recommend this place more highly! It is wonderful.

Your selection of bikes was excellent, and in a market that is hard to get what you want, it went relatively quickly and smoothly in a way that I was really pleasantly surprised with. More than that, everyone I interacted with on the staff went above and beyond and was excellent. Nate took a bunch of time originally to walk me through all of my options. Stephanie was great over the phone putting my order in, Jim was great when I came to pick it up. No pressure sale, just super super helpful and really nice folks. Thanks guys!

I recently bought a Trek Verve 2. They had one in stock which I was told had to be built and would be ready in 4-5 days. The bike was ready the next day! I am 6 feet tall and since I didnt want to wait I purchased a medium frame. I even rode the floor model in the parking lot. When I got home I went for a ride (a few miles) and I realized that I had to raise the seat. It turned out that for me to be comfortable, the seat had to be raised beyond the maximum suggested level. I called the shop and without hesitation they said to bring it back and I could exchange it for a larger frame bike which happened to be in stock in the shop. I brought it back and two days later I had the right size bike. They even gave me new tires. I was expecting the ones I had used. All new! The service is very professional and friendly. Great store. I am writing this review under my Google account name BUT I am a real buyer. This is the first review I ever wrote, EVER. I usually think they are fake.

I bought a Specialized Tarmac Pro as a demo bike from Wheat Ridge Cyclery back in 2020, and even though Im in NY and the shop is in CO, theyve been nothing but amazing to me since. Shipped it over no problem and even covered the expenses of building it up/tuning it/fixing some things at a bike shop in NY. And over the past year, sent me small parts/misc items multiple times when I asked about them/mentioned a problem that required them. Though everyone that Ive interacted with has been great, special shoutout to Doug Bittle. :)))

I go far out of my way to this shop. They are trustworthy. They have excellent service. My wife and I got gravel bikes—had to reserve them months in advance due to global supply issues. They called us promptly when our bikes got into the shop. Unpretentious: helped newcomers. I have been riding for six months and I love my bike. Will be back to WRC for a tune-up before a race this Fall.

HUUUUUGE shoutout to Kevin and the Wheat Ridge crew!I called the shop on Wednesday bummed about my bike having been recently stolen in Reno, NV. Kevin was very empathetic and worked with me to recommend some stellar bikes based on what he was currently riding. After chatting about what I was riding before, what I liked and what was working well, he got me very stoked on the 22 SC Bronson mullet.He was very honest about the bike and was the perfect person to talk about it since he owned one himself. His excitement about the bike and his own riding experience helped personalize the bike for me and I decided I wanted to go in and give it a test ride.Kevin answered all of my questions and more and got me out on a rad test ride. I had another great experience at Wheat Ridge Cyclery. It was time to have my bike serviced/tuned and Josh, in service, helped me. Josh was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. I was able to get my bike scheduled for service quickly and Josh also helped tweek some minor issues. It’s great to have a wide selection of products in the store. Even when busy, I didn’t have to wait long for help. I was able to try on 6 different mountain bike helmets, and was able to find the ONLY one that wasn’t uncomfortable to wear (this is more a comment about my oddly shaped head than the quality of the products).

Couldnt be happier with my experience at Wheat Ridge. The two employees who helped me out (Greg and...Nick?) were awesome to work with - both super knowledgeable and kind, not pushy at all, they really helped me make what I feel was a great decision on a new bike. Will 100% recommend to others in search of a new bike or the servicing of an existing one!

Excellent product selection and easy online purchase process. Quick turn around on bike build and Dave Gibbs was extremely helpful in bike setup, answering my numerous questions, and purchasing additional needed equipment. Rode the bike up in Black Hawk an hour later and experience was trouble free and enjoyable. Wheat Ridge Cyclery has an excellent reputation, which they confirmed with my purchase.

Love this shop. This was our first time using the service dept. to work on one of our rare bikes. We have had a very hard time finding people who even understand what it is. Andy, Jason and Doug were all awesome. They kept us updated thru out the entire process as they hunted down all the parts necessary to get the bike back to like new condition. Cannot say enough good things about this team. Let us just say Thank You!!

Not sure why am the 5 start reviews. Left my bike (2018 Santa Cruz carbon frame Hightower) with their service for over three weeks. I called 5 times and left messages, they never picked up the phone or called me back. Eventually was called by the tech Rob and told my bike was too damaged to repair and they did nothing.I picked up the bike and took it to Alpha.I asked them about the damage and they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the frame. Alpha bikes did all my requested repairs and was done in less than one week. Ill never go back here.

Wow! Awesome shop.I put a hole in a brand new tire during my second ride on it. I wanted to replace it before an out of town trip for piece of mind. Called WRC on my way home and they had what I need in stock. I was able to purchase it over the phone and just needed to pick it up. I didn’t have my rack lock with me so I brought my bike inside to pick up my new tire. They took my bike and replace the tire for me. Saving me the time and effort of doing it myself. If you have ever replaced a tire w/tubeless set it can be a bit messy. So stoked on the shop. They went above and beyond. That is how you create loyalty. Thank you Doug and WRC.

Just had a bike fit with Matt DeViney. He was super knowledgeable and thorough. Loved his mix biking and physiology knowledge. He also spent time asking lots of questions and listening vs. plowing through a process. I would highly recommend him if you are looking at dialing in your current ride.

We stopped in to fix a flat tire on my 9 year old’s bike. A staff member helped us find the right size and then gently and patiently guided my son through the whole process from start to finish, so that my son was able to fix it right there. He even helped him figure out why he was getting flat tires, all for the cost of an inner tube. He made a customer for life. Thanks!

The level of expertise at the Wheat Ridge Cyclery is impressive and the experts servicing the bicycles are clearly enthusiasts and not merely employees. They have an deep range of knowledge and got my 10 year old Giant mountain bike working smoother and handling better than it ever has. I bought a bike last year from them and the guys working the floor were super helpful and loved talking about bikes(whod guess!?). I had a brake lever start leaking on me and brought it in and they replaced it under warranty in like 20min. No complaints, theyre all super helpful.

I spoke on the phone with Andy (Service), then visited the store this week for the first time (two separate days - spoke with someone I cant remember his name and with Terry, both in Service as well). All of them were courteous/friendly, knowledgeable, and they took the time to hear my bike problems/questions in detail.I needed help with a big project and they couldnt accommodate me in a time frame that works for me but Im planning to come back, even tough is a 35 min drive for me. It cant be a coincidence that all three were so good.

Joel in the service department is AMAZING! I have a Yeti SB150 and had an issue with the rear axle. Neither of the Yeti dealers in Summit County would touch it (they were worried about damaging the frame). I had been to Wheat Ridge Cyclery many times in the past and Yeti recommended trying them for the service. Joel had it fixed in 5 minutes and I was on my way. INCREDIBLE SERVICE - THANK YOU!

Came in for a firmware update on my Levo. I was graciously fit in during their busy sale, which was appreciated!!! Whole waiting (and getting my battery filled up), I was inundated with sweet sweet bike SWAG. Tubes, tires, lube and more. Customer service was excellent. Sales was not pushy while I drooled over their slick machines. Gorgeous variety of road bike and mountain bike and commuter bicycle options. No shortage of bikes on hand and ready to go. One stop bicycle shop!!

Came here first time to have my suspension set up, didn’t get any help. Was told to buy a suspension shock instead. So, I bought one and it did not fit so I had to come back and get a different one. That one did not work as well. When I went and returned it, I was double charged for the pump instead of returned. It’s small things like that about their customer service that I wouldn’t recommend to come here. If things like that are overlooked then what else will be overlooked on your bike. I used to think highly of this store but the last 3 trips ruined it all.

The nicest, most friendly staff in town. Had a fitting with Jonathan today and was blown away with the amazing detail that went into it. I would highly recommend them for all your bicycle needs from repairing a flat to a fitting youre not going to go find a more personable place.

Had a bike fitting here after some low back pain I noticed after a few long rides. They could not have been more thorough and helpful and were able to make some detrimental changes for me to my bike and riding position. Highly recommend!

Everything was super easy to get the maintenance completed on my bike. I scheduled it and was even able to add on new tires when I got a flat before my scheduled date. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend!

Online shopping experience is simple, easy and accurate (i.e. inventory). Curbside pickup was fast. We appreciated the staff following up on our order to let us know the status of the bike build and they even completed it ahead of schedule. We also made a separate purchase for a bike basket, where we indicated that this was an add-on to the bike build. They called to confirm and added it to the bike build. On top of that, they upgraded the floor pump when they realized that the original one I ordered was out of stock. Outstanding customer service (Thank you, Ian!) and everything was seamless from online shopping to curbside. Wheat Ridge Cyclery is a truly well-oiled machine and I highly recommend them. Looking forward to our first tune-up and scheduled maintenance.

I recently ordered the Yeti 35th Anniversary ARC from WRC, and they did a phenomenal job all-around. As I live out of town (Seattle), the order was placed online and then shipped out via FedEx. The team was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns, they followed up at every step along the way. When the bike arrived, it was completely encased in bubble wrap and protective packaging to ensure no damage during shipment. The condition of the bike was absolutely pristine and everything was properly set up and effectively ready to go once the handlebars and wheels were remounted. Fantastic experience all around and I would absolutely recommend Wheat Ridge Cyclery without hesitation.

I went in to this location to get my bike serviced by a shop that could help me learn as I’m new to this world and it is close to my home. The first time I went in I was very dissatisfied with the hospitality...the guys almost talked down to me and my fiancé...but we had faith. After four weeks in service and the second time I went in to the shop we, had the same feeling. You would think out of the 20 workers you consistently see on shift, standing around, talking to each other, that they would be customer focused. The employees seem to bro down and talk to each other more than offer assistance to wondering guest. The price is high for service which due to demographic I understand...but the customer always comes first, and they did not show it. Maybe not with beginners at least. I won’t come back because of the experience, or lack there of.

I bought a new 2021 Trek Demonte Lt+ Yesterday Nov 23 2020I was greeted by Jonathan.He is probably the one reason I bought the bike, although I do like this dealership. It’s a beautiful store and everybody is super helpful.Just turned 70 on the first of November, so I thought I’d buy myself a birthday present. I have been a road bike rider and racer Most of my life.Jonathan was with me for about three hours I test rode a couple bikes. and was very helpful and very knowledgeable.He never talk down to me, after all for 70 year old man walks in to buy a bicycle you wouldn’t think he knew much. But Jonathan was always respectful, it very nice experience!I would definitely buy another bike from them again, super great experience!

I had a minor issue that was quickly addressed by their mechanics. It was so minor they did not charge me but their fix made a huge difference in my ride. Their prices seem very reasonable for service. I will take my bike back for seasonal service. Store is clean and feels safe. Great customer service.

I bought a road bike a few years ago with the newest SRAM group set. The bike was overseas during the pandemic the past few years and was recently brought back to US. During the initial assembly Shimano rotors were installed, not sure why. I brought the bike a few weeks ago to have a mechanic looking at a rubbing issue I was having. Joel was my mechanic. Extremely knowledgable, friendly and willing to resolve the problem immediately. He not only replaced the rotors with the correct ones but did it at a no cost, explaining to me that it should have been done with the other ones and excepted fault. Now, the bike performs flawless. I will be back for my next bike purchase.

Have used their service department mostly and they quality of service exceeded my expectations every time. It doesnt matter if you bought parts from somewhere else or have a direct to consumer brand, they treat you well. Most times ive brought my bike in for service it have been done ahead of schedule. When I purchase my next bike they will be on the short list. Excellent service, excellent staff and excellent turnaround time.
