After searching high and low for a used car with less than 80,000 miles for my girlfriend, we happened upon a 2014 Subaru Impreza sport with 56k mi from Primera Auto. Kolio with Primera was very helpful and did not push us too hard to make a purchase the first time we saw the vehicle. They even had their mechanic replace the battery in the vehicle free of charge! Primera is a great choice to buy a used vehicle.

We bought a 2004 Forester from them this past week for $5,000. Its a great running and driving Subaru. And with all the work theyve done. I can trust itll get me down the road and back. They have been very up front about everything and I felt like I knew what was going on. I purchased a 06 Subaru Legacy here a couple months ago and I absolutely love it.The folks running Primera Auto are thoughtful, honest, primarily have cars that are from Colorado (no rust bucket transfers from the east) and have an excellent mechanic on site. These guys are as honest as it gets and they KNOW subaru vehicles and are very upfront with what repairs to expect and when. I plan to return here for my future mechanic and car needs if this 06 legacy every stops getting me from A to B

Do NOT buy a used performance vehicle from this place without bringing a professional and having an in depth inspection done first. I’ve had to put over 10,000 dollars into the 06 sti I bought from this dealership. Parts I’ve replaced in the first 5000miles: short block, heads, turbo, injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, knock sensor, steering rack, struts and other various drive terrain parts. And this doesn’t include the labor cost that’s gone into it. This has been the largest money pit I’ve ever dug in my entire life. Yes, I’m not a rich man.Be smarter then me and have a professional you trust or pay good money before you buy a performance car. Especially if it’s a Subaru.Salesman and owner were nice. They obviously have their mechanic do the bare minimum to get cars back onto the road though.Buyer be warned.

Run to the next dealer..ANY DEALER! Bought from this place. Twenty miles into driving it the engine light comes on. The owner also told us the breaks had been completely redone. While driving away from the dealer the breaks stopped gripping. We find out the breaks/roters were shaved down to levels unsafe to drive. Then if that is not enough the alarms continuously goes off. And now suddenly this place wont return a call. A complaint has been filed with the state of Colorado. Interesting that I Posted this negative review 6:30a.m. On a Sunday morning and immediately four positives went on in a matter if minutes right behind mine. Beware!

The worst people I have ever dealt with. I bought a car from here and it did not pass emissions, and the subframe is so rusted out it is basically totaled. So I wasted my money here and lost 7,000 or more when I include service fees and parts. They even worked on the car after I bought it and changed the head gaskets. Spend your money elsewhere these guys are professional robbers.

Run away! Wife found the car she wanted. Color, body style everything. Test drove it. Had to put gas in tank on test drive because light came on. Car drove well but steering wheel wasn’t centered and ac didn’t work. Also had crack in windshield. Came back and agreed to pay sticker if they took care of the problems. They agreed. For those that don’t know a bottle of ac juice is 20 bucks. Alignment, I’ll give them a bill. Windshield, 3-400. Put down 2k and owner said when we came in and paid cash the next week the work would be done😤. Owner went out of town. Came in to pay off car in 7 days and alignment wasn’t done. Ac still wasn’t blowing any colder than when I put in my own bottle of ac juice. Windshield wasn’t fixed. We still wanted the car and I figured another can of ac would fix it. We can deal with fact that steering wheel isn’t exactly straight. Windshield was agreed to be done after purchase even though it was agreed that it would be pre purchase, in writing on sales contract. Bought car on 5/20, tried to get them to set me a windshield appointment, never happened. Finally, 6/10, said f it and called their place they gave me. 120? For a windshield! Did they forget to put it in. Using that paste you eat in pre school n kindergarten? Windshield replacement cost 350 at a reputable place. Then they say that they didn’t charge me dealer fees. I have my bill of sale. Dealer fees are there. Oh, the owner called me a week after we bought and had the car to see if we were still going to buy it because they are really good with paper work. Takin paperwork with signed agreement to courthouse tomorrow. Says “Primera auto will pay for replacement and installation of windshield “. Doesn’t say anything about who’s to do it or what the $ limit is.

Beware of this place... they sold me a Pathfinder and also a warranty, the pathfinder had a light on and a fire hazard issue and for then it was ILLEGAL for them to sell it to me... I took it back and got my money for the Pathfinder but they refused to give me my money back for the warranty ($500) and also one of the guys there tried to hit me over those $500 they didnt want to give back to me which is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and not to mention I am a woman so they are very aggressive and abusive with ppl... I will never EVER return to this place... its ghetto.

These guys dont follow through. Was in the market for a very specific vehicle, couldnt make a deposit right away, so was told I would be given 1st refusal, as was explained to me, if anyone came in and offered to purchase the vehicle, I would be contacted to see if I could pay a deposit. Well, got the money I needed to make the deposit, and was informed that the sold the vehicle the previous night, never contacting me.

Update—BEWARE! 1,200miles/3 days in to moving across country after my initial review the check engine light came on. Another $400 issue. With all the extra money we put in to work we could have bought a nicer car with a warranty at a reliable dealership.Original Review—We bought a 2007 Subaru Outback here just under two months ago. We now need $650 worth of work due to multiple oil leaks. Eric will make it seem like he’s an honest guy there to help when you’re buying, and once you have an issue he turns in to a totally different person. They don’t check out their cars besides head gaskets. They flip auction vehicles.

I had been to several dealers and none were able to get us a deal we felt comfortable with for a car we liked. But here at Primera Auto it was different. We found a car we wanted and unfortunately it was sold to another person. But George worked with us for days until he was able to get us into something we liked and felt comfortable in and was at a price that felt right. Thanks George for helping us find a vehicle. The vehicle was not inspected before I went to test drive. Had a check engine light on and issues with the ignition switch not turning on also rear door wouldnt open. Asked about issues with vehicle before driving out was not informed of any issues. Clearly it was a complete waste of time.

The vehicle I chose did not pass CO emission testing initially, but was guaranteed by them and they fixed the issue that caused the fail (at no cost to me, I might add); the second time though, my vehicle passed with flying colors. Do not trust this shop! Their mechanic Dylan is completely untrustworthy, unreliable, and rude. I was told my car only needed a new axle and alignment and they offer discounted labor so I brought it to them. Dylan used a scrap axel without telling me and charged full price. I left my car with him for 8 hours and he told me he hadn’t had time to do the alignment. So I scheduled a time to drop it off for the alignment and he no called no showed me making me waste money on rides. I then found out that there is an additional $1500 worth of repairs required. When I called to ask how such a major thing could be overlooked he got defensive, kept repeating the phrase “did you just call to complain” and then Proceeded to cuss me out.

I bought a Subaru Impreza 2008 from them. Best experience I ever had buying a car.Honestly, I dont usually write reviews but this car buying experience is as good as it gets. The opposite of pushy, Eric was the most laid back, friendly and nice sales person I ever dealt with. Primera wants to make sure you are getting a vehicle that fits your needs. The process is a bit different than any other car buying experience. You go to the lot, drive the cars, pick the one that fits your needs, put a small deposit down and they fix everything that is wrong, including things like replacing a timing belt or gaskets that notoriously break with Subarus.My son and I were looking for a replacement car that unfortunately was totaled and we dreaded the dealers and experience. We had two terrible encounters and then I came across Primera. I wish I knew about them before I replaced my own Outback 1 month ago; Even though I love my new Forester from Groove, I can not say the same about the experience.Primera, Honest, open and friendly. I recommend them to anyone and I will be back!!!! They make me want to buy another car.

I couldnt be more grateful. After losing a 2004 Honda Civic I had been without a vehicle for over a month and had trouble finding something in my price range with good value. After doing some shopping around I filled out an App for the dealership online and was contacted by George S., and made an appointment for the next day. I was searching for a specific car, a Subaru Legacy GT. I found one at Primera Auto, the only issue was it was the day before Christmas eve and nothing was open. Eric was so amazing that he opened up on Christmas Eve to let me come down and test drive it. I was able to put a deposit down to make sure the car was mine. Eric was so communitive about the car, the paper work and the whole nine yards when it comes to buying a car. I could not be more happy with my beautiful car that runs wonderful. Simon was awesome to work with when I was picking out my Subaru. Helped me find the right car after I test drove a few, and followed through with everything he promised. Even after I drove the car home and found a few minor issues we hadnt discussed/found, he let me bring it back to have them fixed. Great to find an honest used car salesman in the area.

Lost thousands of dollars with these liars. We went in to buy an advertised car and was told it had overheated the day before so they were replacing the head gaskets. It took much longer than they said it would because when we tore it all down we realized it needed a clutch. They also told us that the internals appeared to have been replaced recently, so that was all good. We were ready to pick it up when we were told that they had to take it apart again because it would not start. Then they told us that it was all done, so we picked it up. 2 days later it threw a rod. The Subaru dealer that we took it to said that it was low on oil and the remaining oil was full of metal shavings- not the signs of repairs being correctly done. Simon told us that you must have hot-rodded the car, so we are not fixing it, helping, or warrantying it because the work that we did had nothing to do with a bent rod. The Subaru dealer strongly disagreed. Now we have to buy another motor and get legal help. Oh, and their promise that it will pass emissions is BS- it cant pass with a blown motor.

George has a great selection of cars, and works hard to make sure people leave happy even when he’s crazy busy. The car I got is amazing, all used cars need TLC, and George tries his very best to make sure they leave the dealership in the best condition possible.

It’s not too often you tell a dealer about noises a used car is making before you buy it and have them tell you they’ll fix it. These guys do and they do a good job at doing it. Cudos to them for standing by there work and products where most fall short.

This is hands-down my #1 recommended auto mechanic shop in the Denver metro area! I went to Firestone a few weeks ago and was told I needed to replace both my CV axel shafts which was going to cost me $720 (something a young college student could not afford). So, I decided to get a 2nd opinion before moving forward. I went on NextDoor and asked local neighbors for help and I was recommended to Dylan Rodriguez, the master mechanic at Primera Auto. I called him and explained my situation and he was one of the most empathetic, honest, and genuine mechanics I have spoken with. He told me that he would first inspect my car free of charge to see if it’s even an issue because often times these shops will up-sell unnecessary products and services. Next, he said if I needed the work that he would charge half of Firestone’s quote to get it done. Lastly, he was very accommodating of my schedule and we worked together to get my car to his shop. When all was said and done, it turned out I did not even need the CV axels and so he just said to bring my car back when I start having issues. By far, the most honest, understanding, and thorough mechanic I have met in this area. I will definitely be bringing my car back to him every single time and referring friends and family to his shop. Thank you so much Dylan for the outstanding customer service and care that you provided to me and my car!

Dealer was selling a car that they didnt have the title for. Why they were even posting this for sale I have no idea. Wasted $70 on an inspection only to learn after that they didnt have the title. They were prompt with replies and gave me my deposit back so three stars it is.

Simply put this was an awesome experience. I liked the fact that George, the owner, was up front and honest about everything he knew about the vehicles I was interested in. He explained to me which cars he knew service history on and others he didnt(as they buy their cars from auctions like all dealers) He explained the common problems with the Subarus I was interested in. He told me he had no idea if or when the head gasket on a Subaru I was interested in was replaced which made me trust him even more as he was honest and upfront. He said he can offer a head gasket replacement for that vehicle for $600 if it ever starts leaking. He put it all in writing. Two moths after I purchased the vehicle from him, I decided to preventatively replace these gaskets for some peace of mind. I called Primera and they immediately scheduled me in. They honored the $600 price which was THREE times less than the next cheapest quote! Awesome service and great experience. I love my car and will def come back!

Who are only out to get your money all you are to them is another dollar sign and you will never be anything more. Especially when you leave the lot when your first trying to purchase a vehicle from them it seems good and it seems like the perfect dealer. After you leave and start having your first problems with the vehicle they act like youre the ugly step-child. I purchased a vehicle from them and started having engine trouble and now they want nothing to do with me sometimes I cant even get them to answer the phone. Shady I tell you... Got my first car here not to long ago and honestly one of the best experiences Ive had.I had been searching for a Subaru and when I came across primera i was sold.The cars there are quality vehicles at reasonable prices.Eric and George helped me out so much with trying to find a good vehicle in my price range.Most car dealers just wanna get you to buy there cars no matter what, but whenever I first stoped by Eric was really nice. He didnt try to push me to buy a car right away.After a few weeks of trying to get a loan out I was able to get a 2003 Subaru Outback and I couldnt be more happier with it.I highly recommend primera to anybody looking for a good vehicle.

Do NOT buy your car from here! At first, I wanted to give these guys a five star review. They were very friendly when we came to look at cars and really made you feel almost like you were a part of the family. I ended up getting a 2006 Subaru Legacy with 100,000 miles on it. I needed to replace my old car, which was on its last legs, and I was excited to have something I wouldnt have to be constantly working on anymore. I specifically chose to go through a dealer, because they would fix any issues with the car before selling it. The next day after bringing it home, the seatbelt light goes on. Which, as it turns out, turned off all airbags. I called up Primera, and they offered to fix it for $130. Because you can not always forsee such problems, I paid the bill and went on my way. Two weeks later, the check engine light comes on. I bring it in to find out there was no engine oil in the vehicle. I brought this up to Eric at Primera but decided they must have forgotten to put oil in the car, and I had not been driving enough for the check engine light to come on until now. Fast forward a month, the check engine light comes on and my car is out of oil AGAIN! At this point, I decide to have a mechanic check out the problem, for which Primera wanted to send me to a place and be charged $80. I found another place for less than half that. Turns out my car is an oil burner and going through 5 QUARTS of oil every 1000 miles!!!!!!! The only fix to this is a new engine or a new short block, costing me somewhere between $4000 and $7000, more than what I bought the car for. I told Eric the problem, for which he tries to convince me using a thicker oil will stop the problem. However, after consulting with other mechanics, this is just putting a bandaid on the problem. I called Eric again to see if he could help out with the car. He would not give me a discount on repairs nor offer to allow me to switch cars with another on their lot, claiming they were unaware the car was clearly burning oil very quickly and smoking out of the exhaust. Again, DO NOT buy your car here. They will not try to help you regardless of your situation. They just wanna make their money and send you on your way. I also wish I could give a fewer star rating.

They always have a good selection of cars, but as soon as you drive them, they seem eh at best. They specialize in subarus and land rovers though, so if thats your thing, head on over.

Purchased a Wagon Turbo a few months ago, and since ive had time to spend with the vehicle and truly make a notable opinion, I feel it should be shared.First, they are pleasant to deal with. They answered my questions and the gentleman who sold the car to me was present at all times. That being said, there have been several inconsistencies i have discovered since. Much of the work they promised to have done, was not done. Fluids were changed and they provided a new battery when it was discovered the car had trouble starting on the lot. Secondly, the Power Steering system leaks and is very noticeable from the underside. How they did not catch this, I am not sure. Whoever reinstalled the fluid lines previously cross-threaded one of the connections. Causing a hard-to-fix leak. Perhaps that is why it wasnt mentioned. Secondly, the flood lamps and other minor things were never addressed and would have been easy for them to fix pre-sale. Admittedly, I should have seen this before driving it off the lot. Third, they have absolutely no maintenance records on the vehicle when I called, leading me to believe they did very little, if any work at all on the car. So buyer beware. They are a decent dealership, but do the minimal possible on vehicles pre-sale. Do a thorough check and take nothing of what they say for gold. They also duped me on the Free Emissions waiver. But $25.00 on a $8,000 automobile is little to complain about. After all this, I dont know that I would ever be back.

Felt like a friend not a mark. Listened and willing to work with us

Recently, I found a car that I liked within my price range at Primera Auto. Their website said that it was, perfect condition inside and out, very safe and dependable. the car is mechanically flawless, and, guaranteed emission test but when I checked it out, the car was far from it. It has a power steering leak, the belt was VERY squeaky upon starting, they had to jump the battery just to get it started, part of the skid plate was hanging down, and one of the belt pulleys was a bit wobbly. Also, when I started it up, the ABS light was on. The check engine light was also on meaning that, due to new Colorado laws, the vehicle will not be able to pass an emissions test until that issue is resolved which, in this case, would have been easily a $200 repair. I had looked up the KBB value of the car the night before and it was rated for almost $900 less than what they were asking for, even when I tried to negotiate a price, they were only willing to drop the price $300 which, believe me, was NOT worth it; I am very glad that I decided not to buy from them, something tells me that it would have been a big mistake. The customer service was terrible, their cars are poorly maintained, and the salesmen are not willing to help you out at all. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a car from them, go find a better dealership with better cars and better salesmen because otherwise, you will surely regret it.
