My wife and I have been shopping at Modmood for a few years now. They have a beautiful, always changing selection. The staff are very friendly. Even if I go an extended time between visits, when I go in they always remember us, they remember the pieces we have purchased in the past, and will even direct us towards specific items they think we will be interested in based on our taste! On my most recent vist, a staff member that I hadnt seen in over a year even remembered what my wife does for a living! Its touches like that combined with the beautiful selection that cause us to keep returning to Modmood.

I can’t say enough about Samantha and mod mood. When I moved out here from Chicago 8 years ago, I purchased my first mid modern piece of furniture. I still have it and I have continued to shop there ever since. Mod mood has something for everyone. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else! Thanks again, Samantha!

I wish I had all the money to get all the awesomeness here. Fantastic mod furniture in front that is beautiful, artistic and comfy. More fun is in the greenhouses though - where it is cheaper and full of amusing and sometimes incredible finds!The staff is great, they have layaway on some items, and if nothing else, it is a blast to just window shop.

Modmood is the best place for all of your mid century finds. From a rare Eames chair to Marantz stereo equipment. And everything in between. Adrian Pearsall to Herman Miller! Its my go-to when in Denver! Highly recommend!

This place has all of the cool stuff. One of the head guys was quite fun to talk to about just about anything. Friendly environment. There might just be that one thing that not too many people have in here that you can buy for a price. Quality over Quantity.

This place is the cats pajamas! They have authentic pieces and newly designed retro-mod. Art gallery stylized. I left feeling up-beat; in a modmood.

This was a really really cool place! Lots of interesting stuff spread throughout. We had a ton of fun browsing and checking the place out. The girls working were super friendly and welcoming. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is pretty much everything seemed marked up way too far. (i.e. a Slimline phone that you could literally go buy brand new at Ace hardware for $12 was listed at $25) It seemed that the prices they have marked were arbitrary numbers they randomly came up with. So theyre likely negotiable, but we didnt see anything we just HAD to have, so it wasnt worth it. Definitely worth checking out though, for sure!

Didnt find anything we wanted but the staff were polite and not pushy- and there is quite a bit of stuff to gander at.

*Adding a note based on response below.I bought some items from this store when it was at the previous location across the street. I loved the different rooms and how it progressively got a little more casual as you went to the back. The new location is very nice but I think it lost a little of the charm. And while the prices are valid, everything seems to be very expensive now.

Really helpful staff with a selection that cant be beat. A combination of vintage items and new, even custom order furniture for the contemporary midmod addict. One of our favorite shops in town!

From the second i called all the way up until purchasing my desk chair, the woman at the front desk (Dana i believe?) did a wonderful job of assisting me and recommending items i never wouldve found. She is an absolute gem, and i would easily come back just to see her! Great experience, and negotiable prices. A+

The front area is awesome. New modern decor and furniture. But as you make your way towards the back ... Some really overpriced items and aisles upon aisles of just collected older stuff. This place would be great if they would clear up the dust collecting items. But the staff were friendly!

This place has excellent stuff and a whole heck of a lot of it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The modmood side of the store selling new but retro items is very cool but very expensive; if its a piece of furniture that looks like art it will be priced like art. One thing to keep in mind is that if an item is being sold here on consignment you can possibly negotiate a lower price.

Very disappointing experience dealing with modmood.- They quoted a Rowe sofa for $3600. I called another local Rowe dealer to price check, and they quoted $1550. both prices included freight and the exact same material. $2050 price difference for the exact same sofa, are you kidding me??- Before finding out about the price issue, I asked for paint color/design recommendations. I was told there was a $99 consultation fee to visit my townhouse, which I agreed to. I also asked for a quote for painting all rooms while she was doing the consultation, which she agreed to do. but then after the consultation, i was only given an estimate on the paint job. When I followed up asking for a firm quote, she said she needed to go back with the painter, but would charge another $135 for the trip! This was supposed to be included in the original $99, but she never gave the quote, then wanted to charge more money for what she was supposed to do in the first place.Also, throughout the process, she was very slow to responding with follow up with emails, etc.. and I had to follow up each time in order to get a response. she then told me my focus is managing the store, these consultations come after that work is completed. of course she never told me this in the beginning, only after the fact. One of these delays caused major scheduling problems with my carpet installer..I would not recommend modmood based on how I was treated, pricing, etc..

Love this store! Its always changing so if you see something you like,buy it! Take it from me, that item you had your eye on may not be there tomorrow. Lots of great deals on many unusual items and the owners and staff are friendly and helpful.

In the mood for mod! Highly recommend. Totally curated mid-century collection and super kind staff. I like this place a lot. Prices were honest and the selection is pretty broad. Theyve got sofas, lamps, chairs, old cups, all kindsa stuff. Had a lot of fun kicking around and checking stuff out—you probably will, too!

Trendy? I think not! You know when you go yard selling & you walk up & see a bunch of garbage & think why did I even get out of my car?? Yup thats the feeling your gonna get...

Fun to look around in this place. They have some really cool stuff. Prices are high for a lot of items. And, some of the things they have further back should have been taken to the dump (e.g. there was an extremely water-damaged print in a broken frame with shattered glass priced at $45--sold as is). Still a fun store to walk through.

Retro is a really cool store and sales folks are fantastic!

I like this store a lot. There are a few things that I found were outrageously priced. But they have a lot of fun retro furniture. I have bought several pieces here. Their back rooms could use some organization.

I had an incredible experience at Modmood!!! First, it began when I called the store to ask about the brand Rowe for a new couch. Dayna was extremely friendly and gave me all the information I needed to know about the different couch styles and fabrics! She encouraged me to email her different styles I was looking at and priced them out for me right away! I was very slow in my couch decision, but Dayna was patient and so helpful during the entire process! Her and I communicated via email and phone the entire time, and when I eventually made it into the store...Dayna couldnt have been more personable and friendly! Not only did Dayna help me, but Jim (another associate there) went above and beyond to ensure my order was complete when Dayna was out for a few days. All in all, I would DEFINITELY go back to this store! They have a wide variety of items, and be sure to look into their store for couches as you can custom make whatever style and color couch youd like. Thanks ModMood! When I got to the store I was incredibly excited about the furniture. My daughter and I walked through the entire store and were completely ignored by the staff. We even waited at the counter for over ten minutes while a group of employees blatantly ignored us. Incredibly rude!

Green house 1 and 2 are 80 percent off. If you like Mod Deco style this is the place to go.
